Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
So, I was looking through some old stuff of mine (and I mean really old) and I found, like, three notebooks full of Pokemon drawings. I thought I'd share some of them.
Things are looking bad for me...
Shadow Claw ~ Crunch ~ Rain Dance
IF BEFORE Action 2 (Totodile has LESS THAN 36 HP), THEN (replace Action 2 with Crunch + Crunch).
Rain Dance ~ Waterfall + Waterfall ~ Crunch
IF (Litwick uses a damaging grass-type move) AND (the weather is NOT rainy), THEN (replace the current action with Crunch + Crunch).
IF (Litwick uses Sunny Day on action 1), THEN (replace Totodile's action set with Crunch + Crunch ~ Crunch + Crunch ~ Shadow Claw).
Sunny Day ~ Hypnosis ~ Solar Beam
IF (Oshawott uses Taunt), THEN (use Magic Coat and push actions back) -- do not perform consecutively.
IF (Oshawott uses Rain Dance), THEN (replace all instances of Sunny Day with Hypnosis) AND (replace the next action with Sunny Day).
Fennekin wanted to setup harsh sunlight to reduce the power of Oshawott's water attacks while making Solar Beam a quick charging attack.
Oshawott took that chance to surf all over Fennekin and then faked the summoning of Rain Dance, that made Fennekin take precautionary measures.
Finally when Oshawott woke up from his slumber, he tried to negate the sun's effects by dancing for the rain gods, but his awkward dance didn't end up bringing any rain as he kept struggling to fake a Rain Dance.
FishShapedFish will now be ordering first, lets see how this weather war goes, Now that we know her Oshawott doesn't know how to summon Rain.
For the sake of substitutions, Oshawott's main actions are replaced with Sleep (Rain Dance). I am not sure if it would trigger the substitution of Fennekin. But I guess it shouldn't based on the current rules. Feel free to get a second opinion.
The way his sub is worded, shouldn't Fennekin have used hypnosis A1? And how does "replace all instances of X with Y" work when the substitution includes move Y in it, or does it not?
BTW I'll actually post orders tomorrow. (one more day of work!)

I treat all "IF X uses Y" subs as action subs, unless they are explicitly mentioned to be considered as over the entire round.
Like "If Oshawott uses Rain Dance" = "If Oshawott uses Rain Dance on an action, THEN X"
and "If Oshawott uses Rain Dance during the round, THEN do X on action 1" = "If Oshawott uses Rain Dance on action 1 or action 2 or action 3, THEN do X on action 1."
So in this battles case, since the sub would be triggered on action 2, Hypnosis would not be used on action 1.
----
When "replace all instances of X with Y" is mentioned. The instances of that move in the main order is replaced.
Fennekin's main order at the start of the round: Sunny Day ~ Hypnosis ~ Solar Beam
Fennekin's main order after the second sub is triggered on action 2: Hypnosis ~ Sunny Day
If the second sub had triggered on action 3, Then Fennekin's move on action 3 would have been Hypnosis.
Fennekin setup a Light Screen to protect her from the powerful water attacks, but an unfortunate critical hit makes it difficult for her to survive.
Oshawott took advantage of the extra turn and finished off Fennekin with a Torrent boosted Brine.
Finally the battle comes to an end and FishShapedFish comes out victories. But looking at Oshawott and Fennekin battle it out till the end, shows how determined and focused the trainers were. Alas, there has to be one victor, and today its FishShapedFish's turn to bask in the Glory of her pokemon's victory.
