| 44 | Camerupt | 1707 | 4.473% | 1242 | 4.907% |

;-; Poor Camerupt. He's so good though. Better than Loltortle at least.

| 51 | Gurdurr | 1455 | 3.812% | 911 | 3.599% |

What, why? Why is Gurdurr so low? This is bullshit. Gurdurr is Strongth.

| 26 | Carracosta | 2597 | 6.805% | 1770 | 6.993% |
| 29 | Gorebyss | 2434 | 6.378% | 1615 | 6.381% |

I thought we all agreed that Gorebyss was a better Shell Smasher than Carracosta. Is this because Carracosta got Stealth Rock? Because I haven't seen any Stealth Rock Carracosta.

| 63 | Leafeon | 1271 | 3.330% | 893 | 3.528% |

Needs more luv. Leafeon >>>>>>> Amoongus, fuck Regenerator.

| 28 | Zangoose | 2486 | 6.514% | 1452 | 5.737% |

I don't think people realize how much of a big threat Zangoose is. Needs so much more love, deserves a spot in the top 10 imo.

Oh, and I hope to god Metang does come back. My set-up sweepers needs more things to set-up on.

Many people must like having Spikes. :p

| 40 | Cradily | 1841 | 4.824% | 1296 | 5.120% |

Shame Cradily isn't used more often, its really bulky on the special side

| 47 | Skuntank | 1601 | 4.195% | 985 | 3.892% |

lolwut?

| 124 | Spinda | 455 | 1.192% | 229 | 0.905% |

lol

  • Gigalith is being used more than Piloswine. Piloswine is the best Stealth Rock lead yet it all the way down at #56..... I am disappointed by that
  • Electrode deserves to be higher in this meta, 42 is way to low
  • wtf is Gardevoir doing in the top 10, Musharna is way better
  • Beheeyem cracks the top 100! I expect it to be top 50 next month
  • Throh is way better than #93
  • #86 Mantine... MANtine is top 30 matierial imo
  • Torkoal is to high, even SMASHkoal cant always get the job done
  • Amoonguss doesnt deeserve to be #1, I think it deserves to be around #6 or 7, it isnt /that/ great.
  • Obligatory Zangoose to low ladder sucks point
  • Ampharos going up <3

Spinda top 130 NU 2012. It happened.

But yeah, im sad to see that golurk might go back up, as its the only spinblocker i actually like. Can't say i'll be sad to see absol leave though.

people need to learn how to use better sets

| 44 | Camerupt | 1707 | 4.473% | 1242 | 4.907% |

;-; Poor Camerupt. He's so good though. Better than Loltortle at least.
Camerupt really is good. It's the best Fire-type in NU, imo, now that Magmortar is confirmed to stay in RU. Fire/Ground is a terrific offensive typing and is a great defensive typing, x4 weakness to Water notwithstanding.

These stats are messed up as hell, haha.

| 47 | Skuntank | 1601 | 4.195% | 985 | 3.892% |
  • Why is Skuntank so low? Skuntank is still amazing, and it does have strong priority capable of taking out / denting Cinccino.

| 26 | Carracosta | 2597 | 6.805% | 1770 | 6.993% |
  • It's amazing what one simple addition to a Pokemon's movepool can do to affect its usage.

Code:
 | 48 | Torterra | 1580 | 4.140% | 1107 | 4.374% |
 | 49 | Gigalith | 1517 | 3.975% | 1151 | 4.547% |
  • These two shouldn't be any where near each other, why is Gigalith receiving so much usage, and why is Torterra so low? Torterra can beat Amoonguss.

| 51 | Gurdurr | 1455 | 3.812% | 911 | 3.599% |
  • WHY WHY WHY Gurdurr is so god damn good, it doesn't deserve to be this low, especially as it can take out Amoonguss, Cinccino and Golurk, providing it uses Ice Punch and Mach Punch in its moveset. Actually, I'm not sure how much Ice Punch does to Amoonguss, before it can Spore / Clear Smog Gurdurr, but still.

| 35 | Lickilicky | 2008 | 5.261% | 1401 | 5.535% |
  • I suppose people haven't caught onto how ~amazing~ SubSD Lickilicky is yet? The amount of things Lickilicky is capable of setting up on is huge. It beats the Alomomola / Amoonguss core, it's one of the few Substitute users capable of beating Cinccino, providing it's at good health. Its special bulk, even without maximum investment in huge. Its Substitutes aren't broken by a few physical hits, too, like Miltank's Body Slam.

[*]| 18 | Wartortle | 3166 | 8.296% | 1846 | 7.293% |
  • no.

| 96 | Vileplume | 742 | 1.944% | 459 | 1.813% |
  • Amoonguss really took a shit on Vileplume's usage, although offensive Vileplume is pretty cool.

| 113 | Stunfisk | 514 | 1.347% | 346 | 1.367% |
  • This is a shame, seeing how it's a pretty cool Cinccino check thanks to Static.ban static

| 142 | Klang | 357 | 0.935% | 198 | 0.782% |
  • I'm surprised this thing is so low, seeing how it's pretty cool Cinccino counter and it can actually set up on a lot of things.

[*]| 196 | Omanyte | 121 | 0.317% | 83 | 0.328% |
  • Omanyte doesn't deserve to be in the midst of shitty NFE's and terrible fully evolved Pokemon, I mean Pineco has more usage than it???

OK, who else used this?

(P.S. It's actually pretty good, especially when you have a BP recipient like Gardevoir.)

I'm responsible for all of the Elgyem, Wingull, and Pidgeotto usage. Also, Toxic Bounce Palpitoad is too good at stalling.

On a more serious note, who the fuck uses Gardevoir anymore? I've laddered more than ever in NU this month and I have not seen a single Gardevoir, yet it's #8?

However, my favorite thing about these stats is that Eelektross is finally getting the usage it was always deserved. This is mostly due to the Research Group and it getting a bunch of cool BW2 tutor moves, but its needed higher usage for a while. Its best set in my opinion, Specs, came into BW2 virtually unchanged, as the only thing different that I run is Giga Drain > Grass Knot. Its got half decent bulk, but it breaks through walls like nothing else. With correct prediction, it can destroy the notorious Amoongomola core. It also has utility in Volt Switch, though you can run U-Turn if you're really worried about immunities, but its pretty weak.

Last thing is that Cacturne is a better spiker than Garbodor. Toxic Spikes have always sucked and are now pointless with Amoonguss on every team, and Cacturne outclasses Garbodor for Spikes. It has powerful priority in Sucker Punch, doesn't have to resort to lolGunk Shot, and can mess shit up with Encore. Use it more.

I guess people use Garbodor over Cacturne because Garbodor can take a couple hits (physical ones, at least), though Cacturne is better offensively of course.
Also Charizard at #21 Yesss! It's a great scarfer, quite fast and hits hard with Fire Blast... Unfortunately rocks exist, and Cryo left :[
I guess I don't need to make a point about Zangoose, and I won't beat a dead horse commenting on some of the more obvious things.
Looks like I'm gonna have to play some more NU... Oh and I want to see logs, FLCL. Flawless with Staryu? I'd pay to see that.

<M Bison> OF COURSE!

Well, Cinccino's a bit of a hype-based prediction. Zangoose is better in nearly every way.

Oh wow. This was half of my original NU RMT when I copied what CherubAgent wanted to with his and adapted the team from there.

| 26 | Carracosta | 2597 | 6.805% | 1770 | 6.993% |
| 27 | Musharna | 2580 | 6.760% | 1547 | 6.112% |
| 28 | Zangoose | 2486 | 6.514% | 1452 | 5.737% |

All harshly underrated Pokes who need to be higher up in the tier.

| 31 | Ditto | 2281 | 5.977% | 1432 | 5.658% |

Oh, cool. Nobody's really hyping Ditto much, even though it is incredibly borked in NU and possibly even OU. Impostor gives this guy a lot more mileage while maintaining the thematics it was supposed to have from the very beginning.

| 35 | Lickilicky | 2008 | 5.261% | 1401 | 5.535% |
| 36 | Drifblim | 1917 | 5.023% | 1314 | 5.191% |

| 60 | Butterfree | 1346 | 3.527% | 941 | 3.718% |
| 62 | Rotom-Frost | 1280 | 3.354% | 757 | 2.991% |
| 66 | Swoobat | 1209 | 3.168% | 760 | 3.003% |

All harshly underrated Pokes who are much better than some of the other Pokes up above them. At least, all of these are better than Alomomola and Wartortle in that they do something useful for NU. Bar Swoobat, I've used almost all of these Pokes in tiers above NU. I guess that's where my first problem is when it comes to trying to make the stats more favorable towards these Pokemon, but any of these Pokemon and the ones I comment about are also better than a handful of the Pokes in RU/UU, too.

Zangoose needs more usage. Sure Cincinno is fast, but Zangoose is able to OHKO literally the entire tier at +2.

Edit: Riolu at 199! Glad my favorite gimmick is seeing some use

My thoughts:
Too highly ranked:
  • 5 | Alomomola | 4681 | 12.265% | 3220 | 12.722%
Never a fan of this poke, as it cannot accomplish much. Yes, it is a great physical wall, but ammonguss can accomplish this much better. It cannot run many sets besides the standard wish protect waterfall toxic, and any poke with substitute shuts this poke down. Liciklicky is a better physical wish passer with its unpredictability

  • 18 | Wartortle | 3166 | 8.296% | 1846 | 7.293% |
Again, with the lack of predictability, it’s tooeasy to set up on this poke. No offensive prowess either

  • 37 | Weezing | 1889 | 4.950% | 1251 | 4.943% |
With the great increase in psychic users such as musharna, gardevoir, exeggutor, and lack of a reliable recovery move, I don’t think this poke can do much as a physical tank. Muk can do that job better despite its weakness to ground

  • 19 | Golem | 3117 | 8.167% | 2356 | 9.308%
  • 26 | Carracosta | 2597 | 6.805% | 1770 | 6.993%

Both of these sr users are just too slow and take too much damage with special attacks, which usually bring them down to sturdy. Sucker punch and aqua jet both don’t hurt that much. Piloswine is a better sr user as with thick fat and eviolite,it can take special hits

  • | 41 | Tangela | 1808 | 4.737% | 1136 | 4.488% |
Haters gonna hate Ammonguss I guess. Completely outclassed, besides having access to leech seed

Pokes that need some lovin

  • 228 | Marshtomp | 41 | 0.107% | 30 | 0.119% |
70/105/105 bulk including eviolite is very good. It could either act as a swampert with sr/ice punch/earthquake/waterfall, or use counter/mirror coat for an automatic ko. Will have to use it more often

  • | 157 | Victreebel | 285 | 0.747% | 191 | 0.755% |
No clue how this poke dropped so much. This poke is a monster in sun, but even without it, sleep powder/ swords dance is deadly. At least it’s better than simisage

  • | 108 | Zweilous | 601 | 1.575% | 346 | 1.367% |
  • | 109 | Relicanth | 580 | 1.520% | 342 | 1.351% |
  • | 110 | Duosion | 570 | 1.494% | 342 | 1.351%
When any of these 3 pokes set up, with substitute, rock polish or calm mind, they are extremely hard to stop (barring outrages misses). Even if these pokes are countered by the most popular pokes such as absol, sawk, and amoonguss, it’s extremely surprising to see this pokes so low, even lower than the all powerful shuckle.

  • 84 | Golbat | 858 | 2.248% | 621 | 2.454% |
With eviolite amd immunity to toxic, it’s a great wall with an abundance of utiliy moves such as roost, super fang, whirwind, taunt, toxic, rain dance sunny day and u-turn

  • | 71 | Linoone | 1101 | 2.885% | 725 | 2.864% |
Belly drum +e-speed= win

  • 31 | Ditto | 2281 | 5.977% | 1432 | 5.658% |
Knowing the opponent’s moveset is invaluable

  • 23 | Swellow | 2703 | 7.083% | 1745 | 6.894% |
This pokes is one of the few that outspeeds the pesky non scarfed cinccino, and besides rock and steels, rips through teams

11 | Garbodor | 3469 | 9.090% | 2300 | 9.087% |

Meh...I prefer Cacturne as a Spikes user.

18 | Wartortle | 3166 | 8.296% | 1846 | 7.293% |

Ugh! Stop using this thing people!

28 | Zangoose | 2486 | 6.514% | 1452 | 5.737% |

This is surprising. Zangoose is better than Cinccino in everyway. He should at least be in the top 10.

51 | Gurdurr | 1455 | 3.812% | 911 | 3.599% |

WHAT THE HELL? Why is this guy so low in usage? He can scare both Golurk and Cinccino with Ice Punch and Mach Punch respectively. He needs more usage, seeing how he is one of the best pokes in the metagame.

56 | Piloswine | 1381 | 3.619% | 1050 | 4.148% |

I'm responsible for the Piloswine usage. Still can't believe how he's this low on the list! Piloswine is easily the best user of Stealth Rock in NU.

112 | Natu | 521 | 1.365% | 324 | 1.280% |

Tiny bird needs more love, imo.

Duosion has fallen from grace since people are starting to realize that Musharna's higher bulk (even with Eviolite factored in) and Leftovers is more useful than the ability to beat stall, which is almost non-existent. On top of that, Musharna can now avoid status and support the team with the newly acquired Heal Bell. Duosion till has a niche of being able to set up on the likes on Alomomola and Miltank without being crippled while still being about to hit Dark-types, but honestly I'd probably use Musharna over it in almost every situation. Even the Life Orb Trick Room sets are usually done better by either Musharna or Beheeyem since Duosion is extremely frail without Eviolite and heavy defensive investment. Almost any hit while setting up coupled with priority will take down Offensive Trick Room Duosion.

Eviolite doesn't add to the base stat total--you add the 50% to the stats themselves. So it has 334 HP, roughly 359 Def, and 393 SpDef (assuming Careful nature), which is quite good. And don't forget it can also lay down SR and phaze with Yawn. I might use it in my next team :)

Furthermore, isn't Seismitoad better at that role, as it can use Leftovers for recovery, has a more powerful Scald, and most importantly access to Water Absorb for trolling Samurott? It's probably not as numerically bulky, but it's definitely good enough to get the job done so long as you invest in its defenses.

How is Golem still #1.... I almost never see it, it isn't bad but I see Armaldo, Garbodor, Costa even Regirock way more often.

I think the huge ammount of wartortle we´ve seen is because it´s one of the few spinners that can fare well against Golurk, n°1 on usage thus making it the top spinblocker.

BTW No Guard is awesome on that guy. Sure it doesn´t get stab like machamp but still 100% confusion chance is just so good

Golem is still as good as ever! With the massive drop in Tangela, Golem can actuall do some damage to the most popular Grass-type in the tier now. Even with the popularity of Cinccino, people need to realize that Cinccino is just one Pokemon, and Bullet Seed is just one move. It's blindingly obvious that Cinccino is most likely going to Bullet Seed Golem first turn, which is basically a free switch-in for something like Amoonguss. It's one of the few Pokemon that can actually Sucker Punch Zangoose since it will die to Toxic if it tries to stall it out with Quick Attack. Keep using Golem people, its effectiveness hasn't dropped at all!!

Wartortle can't really go toe to toe with Golurk seeing how CB Earthquake does tremendous damage. Even if it does kill Golurk, it's probably forced out and too weak to spin the next time it comes in. In reality, Wartortle should barely see any usage at all. It's terrible.

I feel like Wartortle gets bashed too much. He doesn't deserve his usage or to be that high on the ranks (and armaldo is leagues better), BUT if you're desperate for a successful spin, he can Foresight spin and is bulky enough to handle a couple boosted hits with investment. Setup bait for sure, but that's something it can do that no other spinner in NU can do.

Also, seeing Gigalith in any use level makes me happy, even though it's largely outclassed. Raw stats means it can do a bit more damage and explode for extra.

| 85 | Sawsbuck | 852 | 2.232% | 574 | 2.268% |
What?! With the high usage of Amoonguss, Sap Sipper Sawsbuck isn't getting that much love? Ridiculous!

Cincinno and Zangoose are both gonna get taken down by Gurdurr's Mach Punch after SR anyway, but i still do believe that they are kinda broken in the tier.

Most Amoongus carry Sludge Bomb which will destroy Sawsbuck anyway and seeing as physically defensive Amoongus can take a hit ( I'm assuming here) Sawsbuck isn't really a good counter.
