[OVERVIEW]

Parasect's access to the rare Spore and a solid ability in Dry Skin cannot make up for the several crippling flaws it has in the PU metagame. It is absurdly slow, has lackluster bulk, and has an awful defensive typing; it is notably 4x weak to Flying and weak to Rock-, Ice-, and Poison-type attacks as well, which are all common in the PU metagame. Most of what Parasect can attempt to do, other Grass-types can do a lot better. Tangela has access to Regenerator and better bulk via Eviolite, Roselia has access to entry hazards and a solid secondary typing in addition to Eviolite, and Gourgeist-XL also has a better typing and access to moves like Will-O-Wisp. In general, these Grass-types also lack the aforementioned problems that come with Parasect's Bug typing.

This set attempts to be a switch-in to Water- and Grass-types like Quagsire, Poliwrath, and Life Orb Lilligant. Its extremely exploitable typing, Stealth Rock weakness, and lackluster stats makes this difficult, however. Better bulky Grass-types include Tangela, Roselia, Gourgeist-XL, and even Cradily, which have much better stats and typings.

The placeholder set for this guy was some Double Powder set with Rocky Helmet, but I thought this was a better set, since Knock Off has vastly more utility in this tier, and with Synthesis' low PP, Parasect needs all the recovery it can get.

Most of what Parasect can attempt to do, other Grass-types can do a lot better. Tangela has access to Regenerator, Roselia has access to entry hazards and a solid secondary typing, and Lurantis has access to Defog while being able to have offensive presence thanks to its Contrary ability.

Its extremely exploitable typing and lackluster stats makes this difficult, however. Better bulky Grass-types include Tangela, Roselia, Lurantis, and even Cradily, who also boasts a Water immunity. (You could say something about how these better mons offer a much better defensive utility than Parasect because of the fact again, their defensive typings are better, they have utility moves, Tangela with Knock and Roselia with Spikes and Lurantis using Defog)

Most of what Parasect can attempt to do, other Grass-types can do a lot better. Tangela has access to Regenerator, Roselia has access to entry hazards and a solid secondary typing (both this and tangela also have far better bulk courtesy of eviolite), and Lurantis has access to Defog while being able to have offensive presence thanks to its Contrary ability (i think smth like gourg-xl would be suited better here since it also gives parasect immense competition as a defensive mon with its secondary typing and utility and whatnot.) (mention how these mons aren't plagued with being part bug)

This set attempts to be a switch-in to some of the types Parasect resists or is immune to, such as Water-, Grass-, and Electric-types (eel, rotom-f, ori-e and +2 psyshock alolachu all destroy it though, maybe change this) (can also mention the tiny niche parasect has over its competition with spore). Its extremely exploitable typing and lackluster stats makes this difficult, however. (something about it being weak to stealth rock which means it usually can't pivot in reliably) Better bulky Grass-types include Tangela, which has a better ability and also has access to Knock Off, Roselia, who has a better typing, ability, and support movepool, Lurantis, who can provide hazard removal, (this feels repetitious since this pretty much mirrors what you said in the overview. would be better to reiterate by just saying like "x y and z all have better stats and lack parasect's awful typing making them more reliable options" or smth like that, shorter and to the point) and even Cradily, who can set up Stealth Rock and also boasts a Water immunity.
