Escargslow the Shellos pops out of his Pokeball happily, looking around. Spotting his friend Eel Stew the Eelektrik flopping about, he tries to do a little Rain Dance in hopes of filling up the ASB Arena into a triple-Olympian-size swimming pool. But Megumi the Krokorok, who'd rather be on dry ground, flips the Shellos off, Taunting the latter and started the battle! Eel Stew tries landing some sparkling Thunder and lightning Bolt attacks, but it turns out all he hit was afterimages left by Yuffie the Frogadier's slick moves Bouncing and Digging about - Arcanite sure trains his Pokemons well in the art of street dancing. Or maybe not, because Megumi-Krokorok is Struggling to even make a head stand, tripping all over Escargslow-Shellos as the latter squirts Scalding water in an attempt to blister the former's limbs. Looks like rain's not coming folks, but a heated battle on our hands!

Praying that the hax gods would smile at him, Yuffie-Frogadier tries freezing up Escargslow-Shellos' inner fluids with an Ice Beam attack straight from her mouth. Megumi-Krokorok continues to bad-mouth his opponents, Tormenting Eel Stew on whether to wash that shady-eyed Pokemon's tongue with soap. In the end though, Eel Stew decided to show who's the boss, and snapped a quick drift in U-turn that surprised everyone of the slow Pokemon's sudden burst! Escargslow-Shellos, however, was too slow on the uptake to even notice, and fires off a green Hidden attack that homes in on Yuffie-Frogadier, blowing her cover and the rhythm of her choreography.

Discontent and jealous, the dancer ninja amphibian mutters Darkly, making foreboding expressions at Eel Stew the Eelektrik. Megumi-Krokorok further Assures his teammate's intentions by cracking knuckles, scaring Eel Stew enough that he twists about twitchy, feeling ill at ease. That does not stop the latter though, from moving on the offensive, ripping the air with crackling Thunderbolts as Escargslow-Shellos fire steaming hot water to Scald Megumi's mouth.

Struck with inspiration, Yuffie-Frogadier finally reveals a smoke bomb, utilizing it as cover before doing some really powerful choreography that ended up with 5 Doubles dancing at the same time! Unfortunately, all it takes is for Eel Stew to be hit by a Scalding attack to know which is the real one. And yet perhaps still Tormented by Megumi-Krokorok's words, Eel Stew keeps charging around the remaining illusory clones, trying to Spark off them all. Escargslow-Shellos, on the other hand, Struggles to even understand the situation, so much so that he keeps pestering his enemy for knowledge that he didn't have - that he could probably do without, too. Giving Assurance to his fallen comrade that he'll have his payback yet, Megumi shakes the Earth, letting out an intimidating cry against the battle.

Excalipoor-Honedge may not be affluent when it comes to movepool and power, but it sure has abundance in luck this round - both with and against him. It's first Sneak Attack tore right through Eel Stew in a critical spot, putting it out of the fight before Megumi-Krokorok falls to Escargslow's Scald attack, Fangs sparkling. The two remained standing had to took a break then, as both attacks are too draining in terms of intensity and stamina respectively.
