Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Taunt ~ Zen Headbutt ~ Zen Headbutt
IF Protect is used a1 then use Sub (20) that action
IF a damaging grass-type combination is used then use protect that action, taunt the next, and zhb the next
Note: Erlenmeyer's Flask has a corrosive effect that deducts 1 HP per round to non-corroded-Steel, non-Poison types. Forgot to factor that into Colossoil last round, sorry. Also, Pwne, Rare Candy does not work on Gallade, since it cannot evolve, and is evolved from Kirlia using a Dawn Stone, not via level-up.
It is said that the mind usually doesn't follow a single train of thought. Instead, ideas, emotions, and action comes in starbursts and explosions and waterfalls. Looking at Pwne's face, it's not hard to imagine the starbursts and explosions and waterfalls going on within that noggin of his. Engi looked slightly concerned as the acid directly underneath Pwne showed some tinge of purple and bubbles- wait, did the acid just responded to Pwne's emotions?! Oh dear, this isn't good - waitwaitwait, gotta think happy thoughts here. Contentment. Zen. Serene Gra- No, not the flinchax!
Rodney-Gallade isn't the least concerned - tossing and catching the Rare Candy, he Taunted the slow flower-plant-frog-dinosaur. I might not speak Pokemon, but I could hazard a few guesses - when a Pokemon insult another, it's usually about physical and social deficiencies, i.e. "You're such a slow waddler" or "You'll never find yourself a mate-partner you nerd". Anyway, Rodney-Gallade must've hit on a sore spot. Tanka-Venusaur was enraged to the point where he could do nothing but retch and hurl one Sludge Bomb after another. The agile fighter still manages to find enough openings to land a couple Zen Headbutts. Unfortunately, his attacks hit exactly at the spot where the Focus Sash is tied to Tanka-Venusaur's head, so the thick material dulls the blow slightly. The sash might be fraying by now, though.

Ya halo thar folks! Frosty here subreffing this little rendezvous!
We are watching the second round of a Gallade vs Venusaur matchup. In theory, Gallade had the advantage, thanks to hitting it Supereffectively, as well as trumping it statwise on every relevant parameter (faster, as bulky, stronger).
And still it is losing. Such is the power of the Poison Gym Leader.
This round begins with Gallade attacking once more with a Zen Headbutt. Although I wouldn't be as calm if it were me.
Venusaur countered with Venoshock, using Gallade's Poison to fuel it, dealing great damage.
Nothing much.
Gallade continued with an...inventive strategy. It used Encore to make Venusaur continue to attack with Venoshock. Weird huh? And Tanka does exactly as much.
Finally, sensing defeat, Gallade uses Destiny Bond right before being defeated and brings most of Venusaur's health with it. Gallade fainted!
The Leader repays the challenger the favor of the first rounds and defeats his mon, retaking the lead. But now Engineer Pikachu has a weak Venusaur to work with and may end up wasting this order-last round if the challenger plays his cards right.
Let's see how this pans out.

Colossoil is back in!
Crunch ~ Earthquake ~ Crunch
IF Venusaur uses Endure and did not use endure the previous action then use Encore that action and earthquake the next
IF Venusaur uses Protect and did not use protect the previous action then use Chill that action
The Challenger sends back Colossoil to the fray. A pokemon the Leader truly despises.
For a good reason.
Equiped with terrific attack stats and options and some surprising support options, it corners Tanka and doesn't allow it to escape or come out on top. Venusaur tries to Endure, but it is encored by the narwhal, and ends up struggling for whatever reason. Venusaur fainted!

HP: KO En: KO Ranks: 3/3/5/4/69 Other: can't endure
Item: Focus Sash
Check the wording of endure again—it does not say that the move will fail, but that you CANNOT use it. It's like ordering Swords Dance*3 and then getting Taunted. Furthermore, I'm hardly alone in this interpretation—in the past month, both Elevator Music and deadfox081 have used the exact same clause in gym matches of their own, and I am absolutely positive it's been reffed this way in the past, though I'm too lazy to dig something up unless you want further evidence.
edit:
20:52 Pwnemon: what happens when i encore a pokemon into endure
20:53 Matezoide: Word of god time!
20:53 Deck_Knight: Pretty sure Struggle occurs cause you can't endure consecutively. Mon KO's itself from recoil if it at 1HP. In Summary: Encore is a dick.
e: ok i don't even know what to do anymore... Kurage, out you go!
Item: Black Sludge
Abil: Rain Dish
Muddy Water – Brine – Muddy Water
IF (Damaging Evasive Action [Attack] is used) AND (You are slower) THEN (Use Reflect the first time, Dive the rest, pushing actions back)
[ONCE] IF (Encore is used on A2 or A3) AND (You are slower) THEN (Use Dodge and push actions back)
[ONCE] IF (Non-combination Earthquake is used) AND (Colossoil does not have a Substitute) THEN (Replace action string with Icy Wind – Brine – Muddy Water)
The Leader sends out Tentacruel with Black Sludge. Some may think it was a bit too soon, but putting a Gengar vs a Colossoil is not a very safe strategy either.
Oh well.
Colossoil begins this round by attacking with a strong Sand Tomb for that special constant damage. Tentacruel then counters with an Icy Wind to slow down his foe and deal some (albeit not much) damage.
After that, the big narwhal attacked with Fake Out and Tentacruel could only flinch.
Finally, now faster, Tentacruel tried to actually deal some damage here, but murphy attacked and, of course, the move missed!
The same can't be said about Colossoil, which managed to carve tentacruel a new one with a strong Earthquake.
And with that the Challenger has the upperhand! Thanks to that crucial miss, Colossoil has a guaranteed action before being defeated (or not). Which means that, if Pwnemon plays his cards right, he will have a Gliscor against two very weakened opponents.
Sure, the Poison Leader is, of all the Gym Leaders, the most mischievous one, so you can expect him to pull a rabbit out of his hat.
Stay tuned!

IF damaging ice-type combo then use dig (suspend) that action and dig (surface) the next
IF Reflect ordered at all this round and tentacruel is not taunted then use taunt (this sub is worded a little weird but basically, use taunt a1 and keep using it until it lands if tenta is ordered to use reflect at all this round)
