Learning from last round, Alakazam instead sits this round back and builds up its defenses in preparation for a new opponent, dodging and blocking all of Venusaur's Power Whips. Now unable to Endure, Venusaur is a sitting duck for the psychic Pokemon to do with as it pleases.

Gengar with RageCandyBar
Consume RageCandyBar Shadow Ball > Dark Pulse > Shadow Ball
If Alakazam is fainted or under the effect of a d/e move when you would act, chill.
If Alakazam would use Endure and is not under the effect of Encore, start chain Encore > Skill Swap (Magic Guard for nothing) > Toxic.
If Alakazam would use a damaging Psychic combo and not Future Sight, use Substitute (15).
Will-o-Wisp > Hex > Perish Song
If Metagross is not burned when you would use Hex, use Shadow Ball.
If Metagross is behind a substitute when you would use Will-o-Wisp, use Shadow Ball.
If Metagross is under the effect of a p/e move, use Perish Song and push back on the first instance and Shadow Ball on the second.
Gengar's beaten and paralyzed, but it puts up a hell of a fight while it goes down. She starts with a wisp, that burns the Metagross as it phases through the metal. The burn makes the metallic gargantuan's attacks sting a little less, but they still contain more than enough force to plow through the Gengar's Substitute, and then bash it further with a Zen Headbutt. Gengar uses a Hex to abuse the burn to the fullest, but with a Meteor Mash, Gengar falls.
