Interestingly, the prototype power and effects of the starter-exclusive moves matches those of the ones in Sword and Shield's coding, suggesting that that they were changed to their final versions very late in development, sometime after they were partially coded into Sword and Shield.

The easiest explanation is that Sword and Shield was forked from Let's GO, at some point before the moves were modified.
