I reckon Hydregon could work or it previous evolution with choice scarf since it would be servrely underlevelled lol. I mean dark wise what else is left crawdaugnt which I would rather in a water gym and......umbreon which would be streching things given he is not ranked. I addition I think the team needs a revenge killer and scarf hydriegon is a perfect fit. Fast hits hard and can U-turn out for momentoum

If its a little early for him then another wild card would work

I think weavile works for the last slot, the gym leader is gonna need a fast dark type to keep those spooky ghosts in check, and weavile fits the bill very nicely.

How many dark types do we have already? Isn't 4 enough for the gym?

Let me take a stab at a gym trainer. I'd expect the trainers to be around level 37-38 and the leader to be around level 40.

If talked to again: Speed is the most important stat for hyper-offensive teams. Going first means you can avoid taking a hit against other frail teams.

Little problem with this, Honchkrow and Krookodile
aren't in the viability rankings. I understand that we can give a little leeway when making trainers, but not for gym trainers. Maybe replace Honch with Weavile and Krookodile with Sableye, then I think the team looks good

Krook has been on the rankings I had thought (or was I think. Hadn't checked recently).

AnybodyAgrees Not gonna lie, looks fairly nice for a trainer team at this point. Just poor fella has no s-punch for pawn :(

And for the gym here's what can be used:
Mega Gyarados
Crawdaunt
Mandibuzz
Bisharp(Pawniard)
Mega Houndoom
Weavile
Sableye
Mega Absol
Hydreigon
Greninja

Do note that the mentioned Megas are either not Dark types in their base form(Gyarados) or unviable(Absol, Houndoom).
This is the list we can work on, wonder if it was invisible to all.

Okay that's what I had thought. Saw but was hoping I had read Krook on there. Ah well.

So yah, Sable, Mandi, Gren Pawn, and Weavile + Gengar. I realize its been posted a few times but with our lack of fighting outside of Conk line (which ATM is stuck at Gurdurr cause we haven't implimented a trade thing) and lack of bugs...
Anything I missing there?

Also should we put a trade Guy in town? Accessible before or after gym?

I know Krook was on it in early XY as a check to Aegislash, but it since dropped off. As for the trade guy, maybe he could trade a Lucario or a Heracross. Both are good fighting types, and Heracross can mega evolve.

The amount of anti-synergy of having gyro ball doublade on a sticky web team is borderline delicious...

As for trading, I figured we just have an NPC do it for you. We should probably have him in the next town so that our gurrdurrs (and other trade evos) don't start falling behind

I mentioned Guy who triggers the trade evolution for you, not another trade Mon.

WebBowser ....that sounds funny, hadn't noticed that.

Also can we get a gym team with the moves and all? We have debated the team Nd all and wouldn't mind seeing his mons movesets.

Doublade with that spread has only 27 speed, so anything with around 122 speed or more will be hit harder than Iron Head, even factoring in Web. This means that roughly, a fully invested base 100 is hit harder than Iron Head with Gyro Ball. The main worry is obviously against defensive teams. However, Shadow Claw is also on the set, so most defensive things can be hit hard by that. Besides its not like this is the leader or anything, so a slight mishap like that is forgivable.

There have been a few suggestions for moves and spreads throughout the comments. Here's what I've seen so far:

Bisharp @ BlackGlasses
Defiant
-Knock Off
-Sucker Punch
-Iron Head
-Pursuit / Swords Dance

Sableye
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 Def 252 HP 4 SDef
Nature: Impish/Bold
-Will-o-Wisp
-Recover
-Taunt
-Knock Off (or Shadow Ball of Knock Off is too much)

Gengar @ black sludge
Timid 252 SPATK, 252 Speed, 4 SPDEF
- Taunt
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave

And here are some suggestions from me

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Jolly Nature
252 Atk/ 232 Spd / 24 Def
-Knock Off
-Ice Shard
-Ice Punch
-Low Kick

Mandibuzz @ Leftovers
Ability:Overcoat
Bold Nature
Atk Ivs:0
248 HP/136 Def /108 SdDef /16 Spd
-Foul Play
-Roost
-Whirlwind
-Toxic

Greninja @ Focus Sash
Ability: Protean
Timid Nature
4 Def/ 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd
-Spikes
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-HP Fire

When are we gonna decide which storyline, we're going to do for Sombre Town(or whatever its called)
We should also decide the other aspects of the town such as name, if there are trainers and I don't think we need to vote on gym leader name(it looks like pretty much everybody is going with Uxis :))

I was gonna bring that up. We got some nice ideas but now's when we bring it all together so we can start knowing what to direction to move in.

From how the opinion currently is, we will be going to do the soul prison route since that is the most prefered ATM (going through system of likes). So basically we are gonna need a lot of TSL grunts along with our alreadt growing need of gym trainers/puzzle.

Will TLS grunts have a general theme going in their teams, or each guy spams random broken things?

They always have a general theme in uncompetitive andvor broken qualities, but since this is a ghost/dark town the may be the of possibly making swagplay an option as the theme for the grunts here. What should be their theme here?

I'd say swagplay, obnoxious status spam (yes I know it's not necessarily uncompetetive, but it is annoying) and perish trapping type stuff (so basically, perish song + mean look) should be plenty for the TLS grunts here. It'd also fit the admin since he's going to be running golurk.

So far for the plot I have something like this in my head...

1. player arrives

2. TLS attacks Sombre Town / area near Sombre Town for the dusk stones

3. Player fends them off

4. Once finished, player finds out that Soul Tower was attacked in his absence. Gym Leader reluctantly sends him to deal with it (but not before giving the player the chance to heal up).

5. Once in the deepest levels of the tower, player finds TLS admin and a mega gengar.

6. Gym Leader comes in and takes on Mega Gengar while you take on the admin.

7. Player beats admin after Gym Leader beats mega gar. Admin regains consciousness, steals gengarite, and flees.

8. Gym Leader tells you to chase after him while he seals up soul prison.

9. You catch up to TLS admin outside only to find him sitting on the shoulder of his Golurk, flying away.

10. Gym Leader offers to fight you.

That's more or less how I see it at the moment. Stuff probably needs to be added, and I am certainly willing to change things around if you all want to tell a different story, but this one looks pretty good to start with. We may want to consider starting with something before doing the whole TLS plot (I heard some good ideas involving Zareal and/or rotom shenanigans).

Anyway, tired now, long day, bedtime, write coherently tomorrow, night.

I'd also like to suggest some Shadow Tag stuff, to tie in with Mega Gengar, and leading in to explainations of why Gengarite was banned. As for a grunt using it, I'd like the idea of a grunt trying to be rebellious, but hasn't quite realized Wobbuffet is no longer banned. Something like this...

Hey, you! This area is under the control of Team Luck Sack. The only rules that matter here are ours! And we say those who stand in are way have to be taught a lesson. So kid, you gonna run?

No: Really? You're gonna wish you could. My pokemon is so powerful, your league had to ban it!

Yes: Well, too bad. You can't run from a Pokemon so powerful your league banned it cause they couldn't handle it.

Wobbuffet @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Shadow Tag
Bold Nature
52 HP/ 232 Def / 224 SpDef
-Counter
-Mirror Coat
-Encore
-Destiny Bond

Losing Quote: What? Now I have to run?

I don't understand. I though using a banned Pokemon like this made you unstoppable... What, it isn't banned anymore?!

Well, you're stupid! I only lost because your rules make no sense! Yeah, that's right. You haven't seen the last of me!

*Runs, dropping the Shed Shell*

Basically, the idea is someone who complains about the rules, but doesn't both to understand what they actually are, and why they are in place (hence the complete misunderstanding of how to use Wobbuffet) I kinda see him as a warm-up grunt rather than an actual threat.

There was some bit about Zarel, i'll look for it.

I dropped my Zarel story for this town cos Salemance and i agreed that it would be too much for a single town. Zarel makes appearance in next town.
I would say 4 grunts and an admin would be enough for the player. What's the badge name? And we need some gym trainers i guess.

Okay, since my quest for town plot was horribly destroyed(no likes >.<) I thought I'd take a shot at gym design!(or whatever you call it)

Okay, this is like super rough, but when you enter, there will be the 'How's it going, champ' dude and he explains and stuff, and shows you a ladder, this ladder is very important. You climb up the ladder and enter the real gym. The puzzle works like this, it is mostly black, with tiny light spots scattered(maybe like 5 in the whole gym), and you have to get through a puzzle of rooms(so you like go through different rooms until you get to the fully lit room with Uxis!!!!!!!!!!!) and in the dark spots, there'll be some open trapdoors that you fall through to the start. The only way to get past them(without lucking out and walking around), is to defeat every trainer, cause when you beat a trainer, a random trapdoor in the room closes. It also helps get some last minute training. Some fun stuff: If you try flash, it'll say 'The darkness is too much for <insert pokemon name>!' and in some light spots, there will be ropes that you climb down to the start if you need to heal up. Im gonna edit later with details
