Yah, originally we had him as an admin way back in the beginning of the project.


Creator of Chaos Traps are fine then. Anything that would be fitting the Luck Sack mold. I'd be thinking just take a member from their teams that used that and all.

Go for it Anduril the more grunts with borked teams the better. On that note maybe we should have deinisis or someone similar to him as an Admin. Currently we have the 2nd in command Uxis, and executive scientist Lucille as well as soon to be introduced Leader Verlisciel. If you wanna make a 4th go for it. He can also claim credit for Zarels Unamed Admin back in Psycrance

Salemance sweet. I love the Trap idea and the Idea of TLS screwing them up lol. That gorebyss idea is brialliant. We'll probably throw in a few swagger users and maybe some poor sand veil users like gliscor for fun. I'll do a proposal shortly actually

Also right near the first floor's staircase / elevator, a man seemingly unrelated with TLS will run up to you and ask for a battle, no one knows why he is here or how he got ahold of the illegal Pokémon he is using but nonetheless he challenges you to a battle with a team of mons.

Occultist Anirtagin
Team: Basically 5 ghosts including Spiritomb, Misdreavus, Gengar, Trevenant, Rotom-N and a Mega Sableye.
When you defeat him he hands you an Odd Keystone which will be important in a post-Gym 8 sidequest later and mysteriously vanishes
 
While you're investigating the TLS lab, you spot a senior citizen who doesn't seem to be allied to TLS. Talking to him is optional. If you answer his question wrongly, he will end the conversation.

Nominating NPC Old Man Victor (or any generic name ever)

Once you have cleared out the TLS in this lab, you can pay him a visit in a town nearby, where he will congratulate you and tell you about the Legendary Muskeeters.

EDIT:
1) Maybe we can make it so that Virizion sides with TLS willingly and tricks Terrakion to aid TLS for whatever reason? (This is a reference to the Three Muskeeters story where Aramis betrays the team and tricks Porthos to aid him in his quest. )

2) For more Muskeeters reference, perhaps Keldeo should appear first in this game (perhaps the Old Man found it when it was injured and nursed it back to health. He points you to the place where Keldeo is) . Keldeo vows to defeat TLS and gather its trusted companions back. -
( a reference to the story where D'Artagnan is the first Muskeeter introduced and gave them a new slogan "All for One, One for All" )

Jokes aside, I am OK with no Muskeeter references though. The Old Man can still be there to help you locate the other 3 Muskeeters and you know, to have NPC helping you against the evil team for once.

Alright people it is time for another one of my Human turned NPC characters and this time my victim lucky smogon user is the one, the only Karxrida whom alongside Recreant and 1 as of unnamed person will form a pivotal role in the final battle with TLS later on in the game. But for now lets introduce. Note: I've taken some phrase's straight from his player profile

Trainer Proposal: Seeker Karxrida.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Air pillar is the larger then life Karxrida. Somewhat famous for his uncanny knack for getting into really bad situations he has not only had to deal with a recent disatourous loss to Recreant weeks earlier when he attemped to reach Snow Cristals battledome he is now stuck in the tower due to the TLS incident currently unfolding. Desperate to escape you'll find him cursing Recreant and challanging you everytime you try to climb the tower until the siege is over.

Quotes: Here I go again, To lazy to fight my way out but not lazy enough to make an Ass of myself..What on earth am I doing here, heck why am I here.....First I lose to recreant of all trainers, get called a nerd and now...Nerds not even the right word to describe me just because I like what I like, curse Recreant and her....(Spots Trainer). After the Battle Karx will heal your pokemon so you can Climb further up the tower

Note. This is subject to change :) but I hope you all like it. My next post will likely be on the battle with UXIS and the Eventual meeting with Verlisciel. Unless someone else wants it

While I'm incredibly flattered that you gave me the title of "Legendary Veteran", I cannot accept it because I've done like shit for this site and don't really play in tournaments. I don't deserve it and would prefer something simpler.

That dialogue however is stupidly accurate. I especially like how you mentioned my laziness and how much of a jerk I can be when I get mad.

Some things I would change:
  • Recreant isn't my rival, she's like my best friend lol.
  • Give Bisharp Sucker Punch.
  • Everything needs to be nicknamed. Bisharp is Devlin, Gardevoir is Angel, Dragonite is Bernard, Lando-T is Billy, Rotom-W is Washington, and Volcarona is Helios.
  • I'm pretty sure Rotom-W's nature should be Bold.
 
Karxrida Im glad you like the npc version of yourself, took a bit to get the dialog right but the results show..... Ill make the requested changes later and thanks for reminding me of sucker punch. Cant believe i forget that and to make rotom bold lol. Never do pc work late at night.

if not, i'd suggest that some of the op strats like swagger+ditto+m-kanga/luke have a significantly lower level than our current party, or else they would be.....too op

after seeing karx's npc, im kinda scared what would happen with mine. for fren list: salemance recreant webbowser karx creator of chaos phione
jk i plot to kill all these :p
 
If I ever get an NPC I'll just be a MSPA-obsessed fan who forces you to access the website :P

Also on the, say, 5th floor we should have one of those things like in Dragonspiral where four grunts circle and challenge you without respite or healz, just to test your party's strength.
 
TLS Scientist Addadale: Located on the 4th floor This guy is obsessed by mysteries, using unique strategies and slowing you down. Not much of note but he does stand in your way. Beating him within 20 turns will give you a means to learn more about the tower if you wish

Air pillar lore: Your psychic pokemon stare's at the console and then back at you. Suddenly your head is filled with image's
1 - You see a tower and the sorrounding town and on the outside is the 3 legendary birds seemingly held in place by there own energy. You interpret this as the air-pillar at its height while channaling the elements from them
2 - You see storms of fire and Ice while lightning rains down. People are panicing trying to channal the energy and failing
3 - You see psychic pokemon like gardevoir and Gothitelle Trying to hold the energy back while futhering the devolopment of technology
4 - You see what appears to be a faded image of the 3 legendary birds with stones in the middle and pokemon trying to mega evolve but failing. You ask were the people trying to create mega stones?

My next NPC will be verlisciel himself, some tls back story and the battle for zapdos :) unless DarkNostalgia, Phione or Anduril does him lol

Also tagging SnazzySwampert to do Admin uxis on the 6th floor (right before the reach the 7th and verlisciel) as he was the original writer of uxis if he would like to do it.

Why Focus Sash Cloyster? King's Rock offers more annoyance because of Skill Link + Multi-hit moves (Rock Blast, Icicle Spear). And why no Cosmic Power Clefable? That set is pure evil

Thanks for tagging me CoC, I've been away from this project for a while so I never knew we made Uxis a TLS Admin(good idea though), but I'll give it a try.

Verlisciel: This is a broadcast from your leader Verlisciel. The idiot who has been ruining our plans for conquest of Smog-Smog is on the 6th floor and approaching Admin Uxis, and is getting ever closer to the top, probably to try to take down our team by beating me in a battle. As if he could! I want all able units to report to the sixth floor. I am putting state of alert at DEFCON 1. If the kid gets to the 7th floor, I will punish each and every person that tried to stop him but failed. Of course our current plans request that he be slowed down, but for the sake of total conquest, he must be destroyed!"

If any of you ever played Pokemon Colosseum, you might remember when you're infiltrating Ein's lab, one of the Scientists pulled the alarm, and after that, when you're walking around, random grunts would drop down and challenge you with no warning. That's what happens here. I'm a shoddy teambuilder so somebody else will have to make all the teams. When you get to the room with Uxis, he will reveal how he was always with TLS from the beginning and stuff:

"Ah, welcome *player name*. You are probably looking very surprised as to seeing me here. Truth is, I was with TLS much before I met you. The fight for the Gengarite was a fake. TLS needed the Gengarite, so I was sent to buy it from a famed Mega Stone collector. No matter how much we offered, he refused to give it up. So, I captured him, tortured him and finally he gave it to me. News got around that I had a Gengarite, so i couldn't just give it to Master Verlisciel because it would be suspicious and an investigation would be ordered. So, all we had to do was fake the battle and pretend I lost it to them. That would've been easy enough if there weren't any witnesses, but then you came along. I couldn't stop you from going in, so we actually had to do a battle. Now, you may have defeated me when I was using Smogon legal Pokemon, but you don't stand a chance against my real team!"
