Because Diancie is made of diamonds, I guess. Diamonds are worth $$$, and even villians need to pay bills.
Poor poor fellas.

It might just relate to Luck Sack being idiots, trying to understand why we would limit ourselves to these things when we could use something like that. Maybe to keep the rock in a glass case, and compare it to whatever broken strat they have....or just to rob the player of a usable mon. I'm just throwing out ideas cause its odd when ya put in perspective.

jordanthejq12 TLS are convinced legendary = broken regardless of what the council or anyone think hence you see them running around with everything from regice to deoxies.

Diancie is a plot point primarily because there leader verlisciel is convinced her diamond making ability through what they learnt in the air-pillar can be used to make mega stones instead thus circumventing the councils control on stuff like mawilite etc if that doesnt work she can always pay the bills like Karxrida said and its one less threat for them to worry about.

Of course diancie wont make stones for them so TLS are poor likely to come out of this looking stupid lol but there cloning operations are going from strengh to strengh

Salemance your post pretty much sums up the absurdity of TLS lol. Love it keeping a rock in a glass case :)

Oh please, dear gods, let there be a TLS member's house where, when you walk in, cues you into a domestic dispute to the tune of:

"WHO GON' PAY DESE BILLS, HUH?! WHO GON' PAY 'EM?!"
"But honey, we finally got this Diancie-"
"I DON'T CARE 'BOUT NO DI-YAN-CIE! I CARE 'BOUT DESE GODDAMN BILLS!"

Also, hey guys, I'm back. I was the one who worked heavily on Orland and Dogars' gyms + leaders and the IV checker NPC ages ago, back in the olden days of the first thread. It's gonna take a while to catch up, but hey, I'm glad to be invested in this again.

Ok, we have a beautiful wrap up by our favorite Salemance because everyone else was too busy to do it.

Hello everyone, its that time again for the Wrapup!

What we have here is the might of Route 10, which took a bit to do in all honesty because of the sheer amount of stuff going on between the actual route, Luck Sack shenanigans and the like. Lets try to order it best we can then!
IF you would care to see a bit of a plot summary in all its glory, refer to this post here by Creator of Chaos : http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...route-10-tls-plot.3537730/page-8#post-6362177 along with a post here to the current map: http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...route-10-tls-plot.3537730/page-5#post-6289872

Route Ten

Original Wrap Up of the spilt route: http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...route-10-tls-plot.3537730/page-3#post-6244699

Here we march up he route, opposite from the Gym town we come across the first of many Luck Sack related annoyances on this route. A Genesect lab, where you fight one of the Luck Sack recruits with it (even if the annoying Bug is not as much of a threat yet as we all know it could be). Even with the other grunts here, a sub level to the lab reveals that there is still more to Luck Sack's plans for this route, urging you to continue onward toward the route's landmark pillar.

Pillar Fiasco

You go into the pillar after fighting a re-occuring grunt to stop Luck Sack from taking Zapdos (for whatever reason they wish). There is a vast amount of Grunts here, between Book hiding ones, Scientists, Mons set in traps to come after you, to even a intercom Grunt. The Pillar goes on for many floors, up many flights of shenanigans, where you eventually get to a section of the pillar where you engage with on of the Luck Sack Admins, Dr. Zenis and Uxis! You then go and fight Lucille and finally Versil, stopping him from getting Zapdos but finding out they took Diancie during this fiasco. Truthfully there is a heck of a lot of stuff that is going on here, and I really wouldnt be doing any service to the content submitted by trying to summarize it here, so just browse through the quality posts to read it all.

Gah, sometimes I need to check those spelling errors more....

Alright Guys we are now on route 11. The route starts out with same ruins that marked route 10 but slowly give way to more open terrain before reaching the coastal city unless you guys want something else entirely.

Talking points for this route
- Wild Pokemon
- NPC's
- Maybe a legendary or 2 (We need to start adding what we dont have)
- Theme for the next town and Ideas about TLS main base and plot. tho I would prefer the next gym be fairy typed

Feel free to discuss and I look foward to the posts.

Okay, think I can have an idea here.....

Legendary Pokemon Capture Proposal

Since this place is still fairly overgrown with nature, I propose its here that we can get Celebi to be captured. You are leaving the temple, and walking a little far when ya see some twinkles in the distant grass. Ya start walking over only to realize ya seem to cant move to that grass because it suddenly got replaced by a wall of rocks. You get confused, only for a hiker to ask, "Bud, why are you walking into a rock formation?" The player is just thoroughly confused, and thinks to ask if there is a sort of cave opening in the wall. Nearby, an Ace Trainer says, "Yah, there is opening blocked by a bald man there. The fella keeps babbling on bout....stuff."

The player walks towards where the Ace Trainer points to, and doesn't see an old man or the rock wall anymore. You walk up to the entrance, only for it to change back into grass. The field of grass you see is all shimmering, and you end up seeing Celebi poke its head out from the grass and back into it. You are having to play a game of cat and mouse in this grass field for Celebi ( which, can be silly cause as you are going to grab it, it is slipping in and out of time, so its grass one second, rock the next).

Upon capture, the Ace Trainer is freaked out cause the cave he saw was changing to grass then cave like crazy.. He runs off a bit down the route in fright (if someone wants to, they can have him as a battle. I dont feel like it right now), and at the entrance is an old man who lets you pass while saying, "......Dang kids and their Pokemon. Never know what they'll do next."

So ya, Celebi in a game of Cat and Mouse with slipping through time in the environment it lives in (rock present, frass future). Fun fun

Legendary Pokemon Capture Proposal

Since this place is still fairly ruin like, I propose its here that we can get Mew to be captured. You are leaving the temple, and walking a little far when ya see some twinkles in the distant grass. Ya start walking over only to realize ya seem to cant move to that grass through an invisible wall. You get confused, only for a hiker to ask, "Bud, why are you walking into a rock formation?" The fella keeps babbling on bout....stuff."

The player walks towards where the hiker points to, and doesn't see an old man, but a Mew. You walk up to talk to it, only for it to cry, and run away. The field of grass you see is all shimmering, and you end up having to play a game of cat and mouse in this grass field for mew ( which, can be finished easily if you recall the spot that twinkled originally cause that's where he'll be). Once found, ya battle and walla! Mew has been caught!

Upon capture, the Hiker is freaked out cause the cave he saw, just became a field of grass. He runs off a bit down the route in fright (if someone wants to, they can have him as a battle. I dont feel like it right now)

So ya, Mew in a game of Cat and Mouse with transforming the environment it lives in. Fun fun
Didn't we already give away a Mew

Alright done editing title and adding wrap-up the OP. Celebi seems cool especially given the grassy enviroment.

We could be chasing after TLS who have gone into the next town with Diancie because of the Fairy aura emanating from it. Not sure what we could do but it could be something like in ORAS where you go into Mossdeep, see the grunts, see the gym, but chase after the grunts before taking on the edge. We could have something like TLS trying to power up Diancie using the Fairy aura. Town could be all nature-themed, a little like Fortree (sorry for all these ORAS mentions!!), but more pinkish and all that.

Does anyone have a list of what wild Pokemon have been proposed already? We could really use some Azumarills and Clefables here. Especially latter ones with Thunder Wave...

Clefable and Azu have both been in (Azu since beginning and Clefable had a star cave thing while alse wS recieved in a trade). I could see if I could make a new list sometime tomorrow.....

As a joke I thought somewhere either on this route or in town is the ruins of a dragon guild made redundant because fairies (and the towns gym leader) drove them out lol. Basically a reference to when fairies were first introiduced into pokemon and the contreversy that ensued after XD. Just a thought

Cleaned up notes here to better Explain diancie's role as well as Conform more to Phiones original idea for the lab http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...ost-206-for-ideas.3537730/page-6#post-6299467

Added the air pillar lore here: http://www.smogon.com/forums/thread...ost-206-for-ideas.3537730/page-7#post-6333519

I'll do more cleaning later if necassary but this should fix a few things

Also Pokemon Proposal
Togekiss lv 71-75
Reason: Highly versatile pokemon that can fufill multiple roles on a team from Para-flinch to stall breaker to nasty passer and much more
- Super Rare
- Found in Grassy patch's as you leave the ruins
- Lum berry 15%, Choice Scarf 5%

Last edited:
Another Pokemon Proposal
Ampharos lv 69-74
Reason: Viable mega evolution that can check bird spam and act as a pivot as well as being a decent wallbreaker with its high special attack
- Uncommon
- Found In grassy patch's towards the next city
- 5% Everstone, 5% Lightning Plate

Also soon in regards to the next town and TLS main base plot I think now is a good time to either bring AM back in for another appearance (He last appeared in the blacklist incident) or another council member. If so Whom should be nominated. DarkNostalgia did suggest pokey aim once but he's no-longer on the council I also think Zarel's Storyline should get rapped up here so I'm gonna tag SparksBlade to finish his NPC he started awhile back

Two part proposal here.

NPC Proposal
The poor idiotic fool has done it again. Not far past the hiker who ran away from you in fear appears to be a scientist standing on top of a rock. Inching closer, ya feel as if you shouldnt go talk to him, but realize it too late you did.
"Ah, if it isn't [insert name here]! Fancy running into you again!" Says the man on the rock, turning to face you. Stunned, you realize its the dang assistant of Prof Chou. He smiles before saying, "Why do you always catch me at the worst times.... I came here to give ya a gift by order of the Professor, but um....I accidently hit the release button on all of them."
He goes to explain that the Professor had arranged to give you a Metagross, and the assistant took all the available ones they had so you could pick a proper nature you desired. Course, he got tired of waiting, and thought he'd converse with one or two. Thats when the bag holding them all ripped open, and all the balls shattered, releasing the Metagross into the wild. Then he just murmurs...

"This isn't even their natural habitat....the Professor is gonna kill me..."

So pretty much he stays there to sulk till you leave the route. Which brings us to the second Proposal....

Pokemon Proposal
Metagross lvl 70-78
Reason: It has a very viable mega, and they are have taken to the habitat here like crazy, calling it home. Also, Mega Meta is fun fun fun!
- Super Common
- In Grass, in a cave that might be here, on water...there were a lot of Metagross released by the guy.
- Nothing held

Least ya get to benefit from the bumbling fool.

Pokemon proposal
Azumarill lv71-lv73
Reason: hard hitting physically attacking fairy that pressures all archtypes with 3 viable sets
-uncommon
-found both in grass and in ponds along the route
-nothing held

I'll be adding some trainers later

Anyway 2 questions guys prefered council member to aid you against TLS in the upcoming town and what theme/vibe should the town have (gym is fairy)?

Psuedo-Medieval town? I kind of like that. It can be town dominated by Pokemon type guilds with ancient traditions and folklore[. DarkNostalgia suggested a nature themed town to which would work as well so maybe we could do a vote or something

Anyway Its time for another NPC proposal this time Journalist Clone and his Council Sanctioned Blaziken (He's trying to infiltrate TLS)

NPC proposal Journalist -Clone-

Seen towards the end of route 11 heading towards the next town this player interviewer turned undercover Journalist can easily be mistaken for a TLS recruiter since he approach's every trainer to go near the town and is accompanied by a blaziken. Tho of little consequence now he'll be pivotal later on during the final battle's with TLS when he films there last great plans unravelling for the world to see. Convinced battling alone wont beat them, Clone feels the need to expose and humiliate TLS for there crimes and poor battling as that is the only way he feel's that can break the organisation. Till then tho he does his best to deter youth from joining the organisation as well as relaying information Council Member and elite 4 veteran ben gay.

Quote: Welcome to the TLS player of the week recruiter. He I stand allday, here I interview perspective Trainers on why on earth they wish to Join TLS and weather or not there reasons have validity if any at all. Please leave any questions.......!Your not here to join TLS!, then your the one whom interfered at the genesect lab......also the one who destroyed TLS TV stranding me here instead of exposing them to the world. I was due to interview Verlisciel before you trashed the place. I could have stoped there charade if given the chance but instead you took the glory and now I'm bored out of my mind.....You can make it up to me by telling me all you know about them

UXIS is there 2nd in command, they have successfully cloned Genesect and they Have Diancie for some wierd plot.....Did I just hear what I thought I heard. (Insert profanity here) UXIS... He's been co-ordinating with the council he knows everything they know. Means there Aware I'm a journilist. There's no Time. I got to go now, I need to find another way to expose them. There revamped operation maybe finished and I would have been unaware till the end. There's a council member in town who can help you. Inform him of UXIS betrayal and maybe you can use it to your advantage.

Clone then walks off towards town. Sorry if its rushed. I Just wanted to add another Prominent smogen figure to the games roster while setting up the appearance of the council member. I can change dialog if any of you wish.

NPC Proposal

Ight so time for the screaming idiot from the Celebi capture...

See him sorta standing off a ways, and since he is a static character, ya can't see him shaking like a leaf. When you talk to him, he jumps in fright (ya have to talk to him, he is covering his eyes so can't see ya (course you wouldnt know that either)).

Ight now I feel slightly bad bout taking another RMT for this NPC (even kept the forum name for the Ace Trainer), but it was a great HO team to use that also had Serperior in it, which I wouldn't mind seeing someone propose :D
And I think thats last thing I'm proposing for this route...

Pokemon Proposal

Serperior

Reason: Good sweeper with Contrary + Leaf Storm alongside good coverage in Hidden Power Fire and Dragon Pulse and utility in Taunt, Glare, and Knock Off. Threatens balance and certain offense teams adequately and fits well with many common Pokemon in OU such as Mega Charizard X and Clefable. Fits the grassy route nicely too.

  • Uncommon
  • Level 72 - 73
  • Held Item: Miracle Seed (5%)
  • Found in tall grass around the route.

Phione I quite like the medieval folklore idea to be honest. I don't know what direction we could then go into but we could include something like a statue or somewhat to strengthen the medieval sort of theme I guess.

NPC Proposal: PDC
This was originally going to be ben gay but then he left the OU council, so I changed it to PDC instead. You first meet PDC soon after entering the route, as he is studying the ruins in the early part of the route with his film crew.

Dialogue:

*to the cameraman* "If you look here you can see the ancient cave paintings of the original uber: Mewtwo. Mewtwo was the first pokemon to be in the uber tier, as he terrorized the RBY metagame to the point of extinction. Many more have since joined him, from Ho-Oh to Landorus. Who will be the next? Tune in soon to the PDC show to find out!"

*notices player* "Oh you look like a trainer. By your badge count, it seems like you are progressing quickly through the region. I'm PDC, a council member. I'd like to officially thank you on behalf of the council for your role so far in the fight against Team Luck-Sack. We have a lot of things to deal with and it's always a help to have people stepping up. Here, take this TM." *gives you Scald* "This move is a staple on many pokemon and I'm sure you'll find a good use for it." *ringing noise* "Oh I've got to go, I'm sure we'll meet again!"

He and his crew then head off down the route towards the next town

Not too sure about this. Personally, I would much rather have the Stone Edge TM placed somewhere in a pit or spiky trap since the move description says "The user stabs the foe with a sharpened stone from below. It has a high critical-hit ratio."

How about giving the Earthquake TM instead and build a trap or have a trap master hand you the Stone Edge TM?

Alternatively, you can have some NPC who is raging about Stone Edge's (he calls it Stone Miss) poor accuracy screwing him over and decides that you can make better use of the move. He will still recommend you to use Rock Slide or Hone Claws to compensate though.

We already gave out EQ but I like your idea about Stone Edge. I'll change it to Scald unless someone has a problem with it.
