Round Seven

The team takes a quick moment to set up to finish off the ice bug, while it continues to pelt away at the raid team. After the set up, the party unleashes a flaming fury of damage so massive it forces Syclant to realize just what he is dealing with, bellowing:

"Spirits of Rage! Come to my aid!"

As you hear these words, an all too familiar draconic Pokemon, Gyarados, sprouts once more from the water, because the first just wasn't enough. When you turn back to Syclant, you realize he's whipped up his Whirlwind once more, but he is definitely in much worse shape than last time.

Round Eight

Faced with yet another Gyarados, the team looks to get to work quickly. But first, they weather the rage infused into the whirlwind of crystals exuded by Syclant, before quickly getting to work on Gyarados. Gyarados turns to the offensive, and scores a KO on Xythilerion, and get excited! Syclant boasts at the power of him and his minions, saying:

"Now what do you have to say?"

as Xythilerion hits the ground. The team make quick work of the Gyarados, and become relieved that the whirlwind is over. But they aren't out of the woods yet, as Syclant makes a series of icicles fall upon Laxus before bellowing:

"You are going to leave in pieces!"

And he wasn't wrong, as his relentless assault scored a KO on Laxus, upon which he says, victoriously, counting his chickens before they hatch:

"Done and done"

The remainder of the team in Verol and Draco get to work on taking down Syclant, but they are both looking quite tired from this fight.

The mysterious man steps closer to the fallen Syclant. He doesn't utter a single word for several instants, then shakes his head. "It is not the time to deal with this... not yet. Whatever forces are lined up against us, we cannot fend them off on this forgotten isle. We must discover the cause behind this eerie magnetic aura and put an end to it, or the Bright Hope ship will never be able to sail from these shores!".
After seeing you nodding as well, Lorien heads back to the ship along with you... although he can't help glancing one last time, with a worried look, at the icy bug laying motionless on the sand.
