Sheer force and life orb combine to a bigger boost than CB ( unless you are using superpower or u-turn)

Sheer Force still applies with CB. The only extra interaction with LO is that it negates the recoil.

some calcs for CB Darmanitan! all assume Adamant, 252 Atk, Sheer Force and Choice Band. I won't be assuming Sun is up because I feel that's often overly idealistic.

Flare Blitz vs 252/0 Tyranitar = 50.50% - 59.41% (80.08% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers)
Flare Blitz vs 4/0 Rotom-W = 86.36% - 101.65% (87.18% chance to OHKO after SR)
Flare Blitz vs 252/0 Rotom-W = 68.75% - 80.92%
Flare Blitz vs 4/0 Dragonite (no multiscale) = 71.30% - 83.95% (66.67% chance to OHKO after SR)
Flare Blitz vs 252/0 Politoed (in rain) = 38.54% - 45.57%
Flare Blitz vs 4/0 Terrakion = 74.69% - 87.96%
Flare Blitz vs 4/0 Latios = 88.70% - 104.32%

Kyurem's Blizzard Spam isn't something to be ignored. It's got massive bulk, and IMO is one of the biggest components of hail's viability. Outside of Jirachi + being checked by the omnicient scizor/scarf fighting types, it can actually put a dent in the metagame.

lol CB Darmanitan is great, stop dissing it. Not only does it have use OUTSIDE of sun, as Lee pointed out you just fucking wreck everything. CB Darmanitan is excellent if you don't have sun up and need a portable nuke, don't knock it

I absolutely love Kyurem's ability to come in on Rotom-W or bulky Waters and set up a sub, regardless if they switch or attack.

..just because you're running CB, doesn't mean you shouldn't still run Sheer Force, lol.

Didn't get anywhere close to the points required for a reward, but that was the result of personal skill rather then Kyurem. I was using mixed Kyurem, which is wonderful. After using HP fire to get rid of steels, I used Draco Meteor + Outrage to make a heavy dent in the opponent's wall, opening up a sweep from CM Alakazam or double dancer Terrakion. Although, Salamence would probably do a better job. I suppose if you really need that ice beam...

Yeah, same my points were pretty bad, but my time with Chandy for the Research Team, and then Kyurem for my actual main team has been good.

Like I said, Specs Overheat in the Sun can wreck a lot of crap within a second (and if/when Shadow Tag becomes legal for Standard OU...the pain shall be extreme).

On my main team, I have been running Scarf Kyurem, and it's been a godsend. It can clean so well. The only downside to it is that, if Hail isn't up, HP is the only thing guaranteed to hit (Blizzard/Focus Blast will have terrible accuracy, and Draco Meteor is prone to missing on its own merits). But it's been a great cleaner.

you can sub and 2hko or ohko his counter and then sweep opponent team
