[RMT] Switching

This is an offensive team that is based off of U-Turn and Volt Switch.

Jolteon @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spe / 252 SpA
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power Grass
- Volt Switch
The first pokemon in this team, Jolteon comes in too take any electric hit that would be coming to harm the rest of the team. From taking these electric hits Jolteon will heal 25% of its max health. This is greatly needed since it doesn't doesn't have the best of defenses and can be THKO by most not resisted moves, as long as the pokemon is built right. Choice Specs allows Jolteon to come in and deal massive damage to even most Special walls and Hp grass is their deal with its weaknesses.

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
From a frail fish to one of the best physical sweepers in the game Gyarados is the main physical threat of the team.Dragon Dance is here to set up Gyarados to be able to sweep the enemy while waterfall is Gyarados's main form of attack. Earthquake is here to take down those electric types when Jolteon can't come in. Finally Ice Fang counters those pesky rock types and dragon types that Gyarados has problems with.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SpA)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
One of the main pokemon in a U-turn/Volt Switch team Scizor is a very speedy powerhouse that excels at sweeping and luring the enemy. Other pokemon on the team can deal with threats that would destroy scizor. U-Turn is Scizor's main way to switch out to others. Bullet Punch is Scizor's revenge kill move and main form of attack. Superpower is Scizor's strongest move though it does lower your stats. Finally Pursuit is to attack enemies that would switch out.

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- ThunderBolt
- Focus Blast
- HP Ice
Gengar is here to stop the enemy from removing entry hazards and sweeping with +1 Dragons. Shadow Ball is a very strong STAB move that can deal with most pokemon as long as there not very bulky special walls. T-Bolt and Focus Blast deals with the team's weaknesses and are also strong special moves that can hit normal types. Finally HP Ice can revenge kill those pesky dragons.

Other U-Turn/Volt Switch Users

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild nature (+SpA, -Def)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- U-Turn
- Earthquake
A very strong mixed attacker Hydreigon counters Blissey and Skarmory combos/ Mixed walls that would other wise hinder the first core. Draco Meteor is its strongest move that utterly destroys the enemy if it is non resistent/ is not a special wall, while Fire Blast is there to counter its weaknesses. Earthquake is here to counter special walls and U-Turn is for convient switching.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Ivs: 0
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spe)
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball
Forretress is here to lay down hazards and deal with dragons. Spikes and stealth rocks are here to cause the enemy's needed switching to be harmful. While Rapid Spin is to stop your switching from affecting you in a negative way. Gyro ball allows Forretress to be able to come in and deal with dragons trying to sweep. Finally with its low speed Forretress can counter Trick room.

instead of deleting your old rmt and then reposting it, can you please simply bump it next time?

Hey Citrus529!

VoltTurn is an extremely effective strategy, and has been since the beginning of BW1. Bit there are a few key elements of VoltTurn that make it as good as it is. Teams that use Volt Switch and U-Turn t gain momentum and force switches need to have as many hazards as possible, while keeping them off the field for themselves. This will mean that while the opponent is forced to take hazards damage, you won't have to. Right now, your team has no hazards, and a Pokémon like Dragonite, Salamence, or Volcarona will have no problem walking all over this team. I suggest you change your Infernape to a Defensive Forretress. At the very least, your team needs to make sure it has hazards on the field to wear down the opponent. In addition to laying Stealth Rock and Spikes, Forretress can also help the team in that Dragons right now destroy you. Forretress can switch in on Dragons that try to sweep with Outrage and hit them hard back with Gyro Ball. But once you have the hazards on the field, there's not much you can do to stop Pokémon from Rapid Spinning them away. This can easily be fixed by adding a spin-blocker, so I suggest you use Scarf Gengar over Kingdra. I like Kingdra a lot, but I feel like its role on the team overlaps with Gyarados too much. Scarf Gengar on the other hand can act as a revenge killer for the team, able to revenge kill +1 Dragons and the like with Hidden Power Ice. Scarf Gengar also has the ability to Spin Block Starmie, which no other Spin Blocker can do. if you switch in on the Rapid Spin, you can revenge kill with Shadow Ball easily.

Another minor change would be to use Life Orb on Jolteon over Specs, since Jolteon should never be locked into an Electric move, or Dugrtio will easily KO you (even though you should be able to beat it since you're faster!)

Hope I was able to help! Good luck with the team!
