This is the team i have so far for VGC's on june 12th. give me ur opinion on everything u feel necessary. In no means is my team perfect. I need help on items among what moves to choose. Im used to no ubers and single battles so ive only battled in doubles a few times, so yes, im a noob.

-Ice Shard
-Fake Out
Weavile Starts with Taunt depending on the opponents leads or low kick against pokemon such as dialga. Ice shard takes priority and fake out to either break sashes or hit exploding metagross or TR’ers. I think Weavile is a pretty good lead for this team, but if u have a better option, feel free to give ideas

Just a Special Sweeper with air lock cancelling out the weather effects of Rain Dance or sunny teams. Ice Beam or Dragon Pulse against dragons, DM as a last resort sort of move or against big threats. Should I go with ice beam, dragon pulse, or DM? also What item should I go with?

Another Special Sweeper but mostly for late game action. Flamethrower against metagross mostly, grass knot against groudon and kyogres. Protect for obvious reasons. Aura Sphere seems like a good choice, but I just cant think of a time to use it in ubers, everything im thinking of either resists it or only takes neutral damage. Should I keep this or replace it with something like a STAB psychic?

(SUBJECT TO CHANGE) Who Should I replace with? I really don’t think empoleon can cut it against ubers and I feel as if he should just be replaced all together. Possibly a metagross, but maybe even a latios, latios has a good amount of weaknesses but he can outspeed a lot except for mewtwo, as long as I don’t get TR’ed, he should withstand alrite. Please comment on this

Azelf can get a first turn explosion with such high speed and do alot of damage. If Explosion isnt suitable for the time a Taunt can do its thing. U-turn out just in case into Mewtwo or Whoever. Ice Punch takes type coverage over a lot of pokemon, especially ubers like rayquaza, groudon, or girantina which will be overused at VGC’s.

Giratina is a sweeper to start with azelf as it resists the explosion. It is also the only physical attacker I have unless I replace empoleon with a physical. Shadow Force is just a monster of a STAB move, Shadow Sneak for priority, dragon claw gets STAB and goes against popular dragons. I chose hasty nature because most Ubers rely on SpA and my def isn’t as needed, also draco meteor is still a very powerful move if I don’t have a nature tht lowers his SpA.
