The real problem with putting it on your sweepers (as everybody has pointed out) is that if you did enough damage to make it worthwhile you could probably either KO the said pokémon or cause enough damage for burn/poison/sandstorm/hail to finish them off if you had used life orb or a choice item. As to staraptor, I would either go choice or use an expert belt as you would be relying on super effectives to kill most stuff.

not always, i use it on metagross to good effect, it can take a hit off say garchomp taking 92% then wack a blissy and receive 25% hp back, i love it on metagross as its better then leftovers.

Anyone switching a blissey into a metagross deserves to lose really.
