Welcome to the Sharing is Caring (Kinda) Tournament. This is one where everyone is given the opportunity to use any Pokemon they please, without any hassle for training - provided someone else had trained it for you. A step forward from the last Battle Factory tour, this gives players more control over there team match-ups. Yes it is blind, but at least you'd know your strengths, and what you'd signed up for. Now onward to the teams...

There are a lot of people expecting this to be an unfair fight. But here's what I think - the match-ups are very much neutral. Every mon in one team may be checked easily by one in another. In such a battle, it all comes down to nothing but algebra - that's why we call this ASB after all. The player who is the most diligent at doing the calculations and finding the solution to the problems each round presents will be the one who walks away with the win. That said, it is expected that this battle is clean, so let's get started with a coin toss.

Reffing that Stockpile's defence boosts decay at the end of R1 since it is used A1.The Stockpile effect itself will decay by R2.

EDIT: Sorry guys, I mis-reffed stuff in A3, Colossoil was supposed to use EQ although it would still miss. Nothing much would change except for 3 Double Team clones instead of two, and 2 less EN on Colossoil's part.

Facing the immensely large, intimidating Sid-Colossoil, plus his own trainer at the other side of the field, Nimbus the Cyclohm did not look so confident. Despite the cloning process, instinct still takes over when the dragon faces his own trainer and master, so much so that Redew had to order Nimbus to Protect himself, being unable to do anything else. Sid uses the chance to chew up and swallow a huge clump of dirt - probably going to Stockpile it and turn it into some sort of high-velocity projectile faeces later. The Colossoil then bounded forward with surprising speed, Knocking Off Nimbus' Rare Candy although the former did get paralysed by the latter's Static fluffy coat.

Shaking his head off to clear the shock, Sid finds instead 4 Doubles of Nimbus Rising in midair. Trying to capture and lock the real one in a Sand Tomb, he instead failed and the attack merely vanished one of the illusions. Redew might capitalize on this chance to land some serious super-effective blows, although Colossoil probably has enough tricks to take out a round of perfect setup in about a single action... Go Redew go!

apparently this wasnt a double post??? i hate 502s

Rain Dance > Surf > Ice Beam
If Smack down, use Magnet Rise that action. Never do consecutively. Push back actions.
If status-inducing move, use Protect that action. Never do consecutively. Push back actions.

I am the worst at subs. If these are bad, let me know. Ty for your patience.

Redew, "status-inducing moves" is an illegal clause, and specific statuses such as Paralysis and Burn must be in separate Substitutions. Sorry.

Trying to turn the weather into his advantage, Redew had Nimbus summoning the Rain, but the wet ground didn't faze Sid in a bit, chucking up a wave of Rocks to reveal Nimbus' real position - by the lake. Too late did the Colossoil realise, that it was the plan all along, to lure the battle to the lakeside so that Surfs of waves can come crushing down on Nimbus' part Ground-type opponent. Angry at the hax, Dogfish decided to turn it in his favour, by having Sid smacking Nimbus back into his Pokeball with a Dragon Tail before braving the Ice Beam to further push his old gym team member with a commanded Horn Drill.

In the silence that Nimbus is absorbed by a red beam, another white flash resulted in the appearance of Wen-Do the Conkeldurr! If I get the kanji right, it translates to "The Way of Warmth and Tenderness". Kinda like Judo, but in slightly different contexts. But I digress - faced with a typing disadvantaged, but still probably played his cards right, will Dogfish switch to his yet undeclared second Pokemon?

Colossoil out, Togekiss @ Scope Lens in

Counterswitch?

E: Also, ZhengTann, You forgot to apply Guts to any of Colossoil's actions last round I think?

If you counterswitch, you order first :u

If Switch = OK is the chosen switch method, then whichever player is ordering first in the current round may choose to initiate a switch phase. They do this by benching one or more of their active Pokemon and choosing an equal number of Pokemon already on the bench to take their places. At this point, the opponent has the option of switching some of their Pokemon out. This is known as counterswitching as it is a switch meant to counter the first switch. If the opponent does counterswitch, however, they must then order first while the player who initiated the switching orders second. If the opponent chooses not to counterswitch or if they cannot counterswitch (possibly because all of their remaining benched Pokemon have fainted) then the player who did switch orders first as usual.

I am terribly sorry I didn't put Rain in last round's post-round stats, given that it affects the game very much - what should I do?

Thunder Wave > Thunder > discharge

If successful P/E move is used, use Double Team (2) that turn instead.

By simply anticipating his own Cyclohm's reactions, again Dogfish made a great exploit by having Togekissu pushing Nimbus into a toe-to-toe beatdown that the former won handily due to no-brainer, not-luck luck. However, even Dogfish didn't predict a twist of fate, than Thunder would paralyse Togekissu, allowing Nimbus to score a final Discharge before the second Dazzling Gleam blindsided him to dreamland. With both Pokemon paralysed, and having to order first, Dogfish needs to find a way to live through the next round, or he might find his perfect match-up turned against him.

Togekissu rang a spiritual Bell, soothing the muscles of her own body and that of Sid, purging the ailing paralysis from their systems. Meanwhile, Wen-Do took the lull in the fight to Sharpen some very, VERY big Rocks. And then lobbed them at Togekissu. Unfortunately, being big rocks means even Wen-Do's strength is not enough to throw true, and she missed.

What follows is a bunch of Air Slashes from Togekissu, using those incredulous luck of her species to enact the parahax strategy. And the rain falls on.
