Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

So, Randbats are legal in this thread? Well then, I got a few. Some of these are Gen V oldies.

Quilava for Ubers:

Empoleon wants to be in Ubers too:

A ridiculous case of dumb luck that makes me want to call myself a hacker: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-78366354

You may have lost to a Pelliper, but at least you didn't lose to a Kecleon... http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-87525020

I borrowed Flint's luck for this match, but Typhlosion still manages to be the deadliest threat to my opponent's team... despite being only at 7% HP the whole time:

You have have lost to a Pelliper and a Kecleon, but at least you didn't lose to a Delibird... in a tournament final:

I lost this one, but the very last turn was totally worth the loss:

Your epic randombats have inspired me to find some really horrible ones myself!

Didn't save the replay, but in STABmons, I saw an Emolga that never switched, using Charge Beam and Electro Ball on my Gliscor, while I set up SR and Spikes, put it to sleep, used Parting shot twice, set up some Iron Defenses with my Scolipede, BPassed to my Chansey and used Belly Drum for the Spice up your Life challenge.
(Sadly, it failed because Chansey got paralyzed by Static and I was parahaxed + a critical Close Combat ;_;)

Worried about Talonflame wrecking your ELO in 1v1? For just one easy payment of a couple perfect IVs, you can get HP Rock Typhlosion! And if you order now, I'll throw in two teammates that these guys didn't have, absolutely free!

Ancient Power+Flash Cannon+Headbutt+Roar of Time Arceus vs. Cotton Guard+Amnesia+Air Slash+Slack Off Lugia. And that's just the beginning.

Pelipper vs. Regi team. Regice had Thunderbolt.

Mat Block Greninja is one thing. But using Aerial Ace in front of a Magnezone?

Guess that one triples battle wasn't the only Metronome war going on ITP.

— Skarmory staying in on Victini to set up Spikes. And of course, setting up Spikes right away instead of going for Stealth Rock first. Only reason I didn't just V-create right off the bat was I was somewhat afraid of getting Flash Fired by something. (Actually I'm fairly new to AAA and my first instinct when I see Heatran sitting benched is to not click fire moves. And logically, I should've been more afraid of getting Motor Drived or Volt Absorbed than Flash Fired.)
— Body Slam + Iron Tail + Bullet Seed + Giga Drain Sceptile holding a Meadow Plate. No idea what ability.
— Flame Body Heatran. Because Levitate, Water Absorb, and Storm Drain are overrated?
— Aforementioned Heatran staying in on a Primordial Sea Genesect-Douse named "Aqua Laser!". I mean, I don't know just how much more obvious I could possibly be that my Genesect's game plan is Techno Blast spam.
— Kingdra in AAA. It's not like you could just put Sniper on anything else that learns Focus Energy or anything, right?

★Happy Carrots: what a cheat team

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/almostanyability-180374613
— Dragon Tail/Dragon Claw/Counter Mega Charizard X.
— Aguav Berry Illusion Zoroark with Shadow Ball. I mean I guess Shadow Ball works for "staying disguised" purposes, but seriously Dark Pulse is better if you're Dark-type.
— Rain Dance Rotom-S using Rain Dance twice in a row.
— Talonflame. Isn't that horribly outclassed by every other bird ever, since you can stick Gale Wings on any of them?
— Typhlosion in AAA.

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/almostanyability-180173766
— Sitrus Berry Ancient Power Tyrantrum.
— Sitrus Berry Discharge + Nuzzle Raichu.
— Forfeit before I could see anything else.

http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/almostanyability-180419054
— Hitmonchan? Fake Out + Power-up Punch + Mach Punch. That said, it did get some work done, so I suppose it might not be 100% impossibly silly? I feel like there ought to be a better Pokémon to use for something like this, though.
— Quick Attack Victini. In the spirit of the Ubers thread, it dealt just enough damage to cause my Mega Houndoom to die from Solar Power recoil. Then the guy forfeited.

And honourable mention goes to this: http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/almostanyability-180422637
— In which Flash Fire RestTalk Ferrothorn walls my whole team, and I have to PP stall it to win. Taking out that lone Ferrothorn takes me from turn 49 all the way to turn 92. And before that, it was turn 25 to turn 41.
I wouldn't particularly call it silly, just amusing.

Raticate doing more than it probably should. Also, Gourgeist-Average, Dragon Pulse Charmeleon, and a Roar-spamming Air Balloon Ninetales.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-180525768
If you're going to abuse Electrify, you should use something faster than Kingler. Also, something with an actual special attack stat.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-180523332
As if Dedenne wasn't bad enough already, meet Life Orb Dedenne.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/customgame-180523151
If you're going to have a Metronome battle, at least have the decency to bring six Pokemon. Each, not total. This battle also features Cute Charm, and (courtesy of Minimize) an Explosion miss.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/pu-180526496
Mixed attacking Rampardos... I know it gets Sheer Force, but it still seems rather meh to me. Also featuring Aerial Ace Barbaracle and one guy sending in FEAR Pineco when Stealth Rock was up on his side.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/350cup-180529920
Ghost mono in 350 Cup is one thing, but getting a 6-0 with just Gastly is another. Of course, his opponent only attempted three attacks, two of which were Quick Attack (from Bidoof, of all things) and the third was a Head Smash from Cranidos that triggered Gastly's Focus Sash.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-180530545
I remember seeing the mono blob team in a tour in the OMs room earlier today. Bringing 5 mons is not the correct way to defeat it, I could tell you that even without seeing the blob team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-180529426
Cheek Pouch Cofagrigus. That's the new meta of BH, folks.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-180532616
Toxic Orb Acrobatics Gliscor. I have no words.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/customgame-180531082
Explosion on a new ORAS mega is one thing if you use Glalie. But Camerupt? Also, Defog spam for no reason, Giratina-O using Aura Sphere on Crobat and Charizard Y using, with no provocation or prediction whatsoever, Heat Wave on a Heatran. And then Aerial Ace.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-180537084
Magic Bounce? What's that?

Acid Spray...

...Quagsire (in STABmons). Nice try.
And its owner was complaining about the fact it couldn't break Scolipede's Sub. The same player also had a Leftovers Chansey (that used Transform against my own Chansey, of all things).
