Banned deucer.
Ice beam is accually viable on Rampardos, thanks to sheer force, along with other moves like fire blast and thunder

Ah yes, but legend has it that using special moves on a physical attacker is not a good idea. Can you believe? Neither can I!

Hehe, sorry, but that last set in the OU meta is borderline viable imo. If I'm right, that was BW NU, and BW NU was basically suicide

Btw: This was on that webpage:

Sadly, special Rampardos is definitely not a set that every team should use. While its wallbreaking powers are awing, most teams would rather have support from the offensive utility set or bone shattering Choice Band set. While this set has the advantage of not taking much recoil and switching up moves, the fact still stands that most of special Rampardos's kills are 2HKOs. Choice Band Rampardos has a much bigger list of OHKOs and is, for the most part, free to just spam Head Smash. While it will kill itself very quickly compared to special Rampardos its ability to force an opponent to sacrifice a Pokemon every time it gets an opportunity fits more teams better. Compared to the offensive utility set, special Rampardos will never be able to replicate the same support due to the requirement of having Sheer Force in order to be competitive and having no room for Stealth Rock. While special Rampardos will never be capable of matching what the other two sets can do, it still has a definite niche as a special attacker that some teams can appreciate.

These are some of the things I used to use in Gen 5 and Gen 4. I barely ever used real sets because I was lazy.

Well then i guess you're just going to love me in DPP

Random Shit volume 90: Easter Edition
-Substitute+Flamethrower Chansey. Gotta abuse that base 35 special attack.
-Lopunny tricking an Assault Vest onto... Azumarill that already had one.
-A battle in which both players led with Rampardos.
-RestTalk Cinccino. So bulky.
-Cross Poison Gliscor. What are you hitting, Whimsicott?
-Haxorus using Outrage while the opponent had Sylveon in reserve.
-Giga Impact Golurk and more: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-111894581
-4v4 new meta (also, dat Breloom): http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-111892997
-Zapdos with some HP that was SE on Fire types.
-Sitrus Berry Espeon. At least it wasn't Aguav.
-Shell Smash+Icicle Spear Cloyster without Skill Link.
-Kingler. With Double-Edge.
-Crabhammer Clawitzer.
-Scyther. With Silver Wind. And it actually got the boost.
-Land's Wrath Zygarde.
-Freeze Shock Kyurem-B. This might be acceptable with a Power Herb, but it didn't have one.
-Simipour. Using Crunch. On M-Gyarados.
-Smeargle trying to Spore a Breloom.
-Drain Punch Gengar. The only reason it did appreciable damage is because it used it on Smeargle.
-Onix.
-Protect Aegislash.
-Return Azumarill.
-A different Azumarill with Hyper Voice.
-Outrage Krookodile.
-Wing Attack Dragonite.
-Snorlax using Giga Impact. On Terrakion.
-Quick Claw Ninjask. Gotta go fast.

But Rock is weak to Ground. Still, it's silly.
I know, it doesn't make sense though to air balloon something nit weak to ground.

Forget countering FEAR, why do you not have Lefties on ANYTHING?

I used to fight someone who uses Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charizard, Butterfree and Pidgeot.
They were all holding Air Balloons (even the Flying types).

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-112395890 -- I'll be kind and hide everything that happens in this battle
- Hyper Voice + Moonblast Sylveon. And judging by the damage, I'm pretty sure it had Cute Charm.
- Said Sylveon not having Heal Bell
- Dazzling Gleam Espeon. It was the only attacking move it had.
- Breloom spores a Vaporeon behind a sub.
- Said Breloom NOT having Mach Punch
- Said Breloom's trainer not knowing what Mach Punch is.
- Discharge Jolteon. Over Thunderbolt.
- Eevee.
- Said Eevee used as a wish passer. You need HP to wish pass.
- Freely switching in Dnite onto a Glaceon.
- Air Balloon Flareon

How does Muk need to have Sludge Bomb to be classified as silly, but yet Infernape, a fast, powerful mixed attacker and revenge killer, is silly on its own?

some slowbro sets like assault vest don't run slack off and can be effective with regenerator

Like Random Passerby said, Psycho Boost was legit last gen to get rid of bulky Poison-types like Tenta and Venusaur.

Stupid shit I ran in OU/Ubers
Eelektross. With Grass Knot, Wild Charge and Dragon Claw. Holding a Zap Plate.
Zap Plate Lapras. With BODY SLAM.
Flame/Spooky Plate Chandlelure (GOnna give myself credit, I didn't have things like Choice Items. But still)
Trick Room Cresselia. Which had 31IVs in Speed.
Adamant Rotom. With Shadow Ball AND Dark Pulse.
Chandelure with Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse.
Moody Octillery with Energy Ball, Signal Beam, Ice Beam and Hydro Pump.
Dazzling Gleam Gardevoir. And it was Dianthas x.x (At least it was Modest)
Golurk. With Assault Vest. What was I thinking?
Jellicent. Water Absorb Jellicent. I can't remember what it's other abilities are but I'm sure that my Mono Ghost team didn't need it (Only one which was weak to fire was Chandelure and Golurk)
Not knowing what Wide Guard did (Thought it was a double Protect. Nope.)
Sure, most of this was my in game team and I shouldn't be doing this..... But meh.
Also I saw Manectric and Gardevoir with Leftovers. And the team had no Mega. Rest of the team was normal
Edit: Turns out that Water Absorb is legit :p

Jellicent gets Damp (lol Explosion) and Cursed Body. The latter is situational at best and the former, well I just expressed my opinion about that. Water Absorb would be good just for the chance that there is a stray Scald flying around.

You realize Water Absorb on Jellicent is legit, right? It's what makes it the perfect Keldeo counter in the first place.
