International breeding still works, as far as I know. See: Masuda Method
There may be other ways, but they haven't been discovered yet.

Should I keep this Yveltral?

Rash 31/31/24-25/30/31/30

The overall stat average is amaaaazing for something that's soft-reset, even taking into consideration the fact that I'm guaranteed three 31s. Yveltral can pull off a mixed set quite well, if nothing else with Oblivion Wing/Dark Pulse/Sucker Punch/Roost

I'm really bummed about the 30 speed though. Speed is the one stat where the difference between 30 and 31 is HUUUGE. At least Yveltral isn't in a common speed bracket; he only shares the base speed of 99 with Genesect, Xerneas, Gourgeist, and of course other Yveltrals. Still, this may not be a speed-focused build and I may go for boosting Attack and Special Attack instead, letting Sucker Punch fill the speed necessity for me.

So as long as it wasn't Speed-boosting anyways (such as Hasty) then the 30 speed isn't that big of a deal? Hmm good point.

For times' sake (I hate going through the plot bits before being able to calculate IVs) and because I never really play Ubers anyways, I think this is good enough then. Plus I'm impatient to start breeding and putting stuff together for playing 6th gen OU.

to be honest it probably doesn't matter now since we have flat battling at level 50

But it is reasonably fast. I generally run through the E4 though
