Why is Return always listed as the STAB move for Slaking? Given Truant turns overlap with recharge turns, I would figure Giga Impact would be his STAB of choice due to the significantly higher power and the fact Slaking sort of ignores the move's primary drawback.

Can someone explain the reasoning here?

Does it matter? Just pick Giga Impact in the move selecter.
