This tournament's primary purpose is to help shape the new OU metagame. It is speculated that Aegislash, Pheromosa, and Power Construct Zygarde will be banned by the time SPL rolls around. As a result, those pokemon are disallowed in this tournament. If your opponent brings one of those four pokemon, they immediately forfeit that game and you're up a game in the best of three.
