Soul Dew in DW OU

I noticed a few weeks ago that the item, Soul Dew, is allowed in the DW OU tier. Why is it allowed? From what I can tell, there is really nothing alluding to the idea of having a Soul Dew become available in the gen 5 games. As of now, it is only available up to the gen 4 games, and items cannot be transferred from Gen 4 to Gen 5 right?

It is allowed because all unavailable items are assumed 'released' for the Dream World metagame. That's why it's allowed in Dream World and DW Uber, but not BW OU or BW Uber.
