Why do all Grougeist get a different pokemon? Wouldn't it be better if all Gourgeist got one mon?

Every Gourgeist has different stats, but their forms a not interchangeable in-battle.

By your logic, White Kyurem, Black Kyurem and Kyurem itself should just get one pokemon. Shaymin itself and Shaymin Sky too.
