Hello everyone. I frequent the OU and RMT forums and have noticed that a good chunk of the visitors to these forums do not know how to effectively team build. In an effort to rectify that, I have joined forces with rob., TheEnder, AM, Halcyon., Bluwing, ArchPhantom, scotti, Vertex, brokenwings, and m00n's blanket to host this team building shop, where users can post Pokemon sets / cores that they would like us to build a team around and one of us can reply with their team and the team building process we used so the requester can see our thinking processes and get ideas on how to build their own teams in the future.

an important note: please do not pm me or anyone else currently on the teambuilding shop squad (rob., TheEnder, AM, Halcyon., Bluwing, ArchPhantom, scotti, Vertex, brokenwings, m00n's blanket) to request being added to the team unless you're already well-known or i personally know that you're good at this game. i'll approach the users who i feel are quailfied to help, but if you pm me requesting to be added to the squad, i'll probably ignore you. alternatively, depending on my mood, i might give you two different cores to build around. if you can impress me with your end results, then i'll consider adding you to the team.

Rules:

- Have a one paragraph description with the set / core you want us to build around and a slight idea of what kind of team you want the end result to be. Also, actually have the set(s) you want us to use in your post. This makes the process of building teams faster for all of us here.
- Do not post asking us to make use of uncompetitive Pokemon. This is not a competition to see how good we are at team building; this is us trying to educate people on what is good and how to build effective teams.
- Please note that we can choose to ignore requests for extremely generic sets and / or cores (e.g.: Landorus-T + Mega Manectric, Tyranitar + Excadrill, Latios + Scizor).
- Do not flame people for asking for a certain Pokemon or that they can't build one themselves.
- I'll close the thread to requests once all of us hit 5 requests at a time.
- Please remember that these teams are first drafts and as such will not be perfect. Edit them as you please.
- On that note, you are free (and highly encouraged) to suggest and post changes / critiques you've made to already posted teams that you feel improve them.
- However, you are not allowed to post your own teams here to have us modify them. We're here to build new teams, not modify older ones. If you want your own teams critiqued and modified, post them in the RMT forum, not here.

got so much irl business atm i have no time to really work on teams, but here's a fun core i was fiddling with a few weeks ago:

Politoed @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 172 HP / 248 SpA / 4 SpD / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 192 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 60 SpD
Adamant Nature

- U-turn

Kingdra @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Rash Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Hydro Pump
- Outrage
- Waterfall

feel free to change the sets around, or go with mega scizor. i like the combo of perish song toed + pursuit cb scizor to force a good amount of switches and give ample opportunities to punish them. mixed lo kingdra seemed pretty cool to shit on rotom and mega venu switchins after poppin a draco off then smacking em with an outrage. i don't ladder much but i got to the 1600s a few weeks ago on the oras ladder with a team i was using these on, but there was definite room for improvement, which i don't really have time to work on at the moment.

the team i was using it on, if you're curious:

so basically, the idea of this core is that you have a bee with a strong ass uturn whose counters can be trapped+eliminated by magnezone. knock off allows it to kill skarm's shed shell, so that it can be trapped by magnezone. magnezone is specs because it needs to wear down teams for bee or something else to clean up. there isnt really much else to say, its a core that i think is good and i want a team from it.

whenever i make a team, it is either lacking offensive presence or has a gaping weakness to a common threat. so with this team, i would like it to be able to check / counter most of the meta.

basically, this core hits hard with priority and deals well with the new oras megas which have a shitton of speed. they also break each others checks / counters. for the team, i would like voltturn support to get these threats in and give off a stong hit. Also it should deal with most of the meta and especially rocks. in that way it might hopefully into some bulky offense build. anyway, these two mons have cb for maximum dmg output. ik that av azu is better in general, but i like that it can hit mons hard like slowbro.

So while looking at Dragalge I noticed that it has near perfect defensive synergy with Skarmory as well as being able to lay down all three hazards, and both compliment Mega Sableye tremendously offensively and defensively maiming Fairy types, allowing Sableye to spin block and boost simultaneously. I opted for specially defensive Skarmory for Moonblasts and to make it a bit easier against Mega Gardevoir for example. And Shed Shell is to escape Magnezone, allowing Dragalge to set up Toxic Spikes since Magnezone can't hurt Dragalge much. Now that Dragalge has Adaptability, it's STABs are so strong, it can OHKO Bold Mega Latias with rocks 100% of the time. I wanted Dragon Tail in the last slot as a means of scouting certain switch ins and racking up extra damage.

I'm thinking I'll be needing something with Heal Bell. Garchomps with Fire Blast could be an issue, or Greninja with Extrasensory/HP Fire. Depending on what everyone suggests for team mates I may be able to change some EV spreads. Dugtrio is an option for example to get rid of Magnezone and Heatran and could allow Skarmory to run Leftovers. I just want to make sure I have my bases covered.

I've always thought a volt-turn core with Mienshao and Raikou would have devastating synergy. Mienshao's ability to use a life orb boosted fake out and u-turn while recover in its health with regenerator is great and Raikou is a very fast and solid special attacker who's volt switch is only boosted more by the addition of choice specs.

Mienshao carries poison jab for that annoying Clefable you're bound to encounter and high jump kick is just your run of the mill strong STAB attack. Raikou runs a standard set of thunderbolt, volt switch, shadow ball and HP ice just to have decent coverage with a strong STAB move in thunderbolt if volt switch won't do the job.

EDIT: As an edit I thought I'd add jirachi in here too, although Mienshao already provides physical damage Jirachi adds pressure to any team through fear of paralysis and flinches with thunder wave and iron head. It also functions as a great healer and sustain pokemon with wish and for coverage I added fire punch in there for those pesky Ferrothorns.

So I've been on and off trying to build a solid Sand Offense team with M-Altaria and usually it does ok but it just doesn't have that kick that makes a first option when I choose my team for a battle. I chose M-Altaria due to its defensive and offensive synergy with the Sand Offense core and overall being able to hit much of the tier and provide solid utility as well, plus I wanted to use M-Altaria on sand offense haha. I'll start it off with some basic sets but these are more placeholders and the only thing I feel strongly about is the Excadrill set so outside of that feel free to change whatever.

Here's a cool core I'd like to see a team around

Mega Sceptile+ Greninja + Heatran is one of the cores I saw on the ORAS good cores page. It is pretty clear that these three (not so much heatran) are fit for Hyper Offensive teams. So, the team I'd like would center around wearing down my opponent by forcing switches and doing damage with heavy hitters. These three have good synergy together, but do have some flaws. Banded Talonflame and Scarf Landorus really threaten these three, so I was thinking about adding someone like Rotom-Wash to check both. However, I fee like adding him would slow down the team's momentum and overall goal (to hit fast, hit hard, and put pressure).

However, any offensive variant of this team would be cool to see ,whether that be an addition of bulky offense, or staying true to HO.

Sets:

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SpA / 184 Spe

Thanks!

I've really wanted to make a Mega-Sceptile team for awhile, and so I decided to take one of the cool FWG cores that had been made with it. Sceptile is the star of the show taking on many threats with it's blazing 145 speed and pretty good special attack, Azumarill and talonflame help get rid of nasty threats like Keldoe Char-X and Mega Venusaur.

Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod

Talonflame @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Looking at the other three members of the team I realized I needed SR support (and possibly removal for talonflame) and strong ice and rock attacks. I've been looking at SR Garchomp, Gengar, Empoleon, and even lead Infernape.

I've been trying to make a good Mega Sableye stall team, but I'm having trouble dealing with all the new ORAS threats.

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Calm Mind
- Dark Pulse

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 136 SpD / 120 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- U-turn

These were just the sets I had been using, so I don't really care if you change them. Anyways, Mega Sableye is a pretty good mon, but it is realy weak to fairies, such as Azumarill, Clefable, Mega-Gardevoir, Mega-Altaria, and Sylveon. This is where Jirachi comes in. It can't really switch into Azumarill, unless it is Choice locked into Play Rough. However, Jirachi can cover the rest. Also, if it is not possible to fit Stealth Rocks elsewhere on the team, Jirachi can do a good job of setting up Rocks. After it switches in on something like clefable, it can just go for stealth rocks as clefable switches out.

I'm having trouble building the rest of the team though. There are so many new ORAS threats out there, that it is really hard for me to account for them all when teambuilding. Sableye can cover some of them, such as Mega-Gallade, Mega-Latias w/ Stored Power, and a few others. It can't counter Mega-Lopunny because of
Scrappy (who thought that ability would actually be useful?).

But there is just so many Megas left over that need to be dealt with, and that's what I need help with (Fire type pokemon that can set up are also a pretty big problem) So if one of you could make a good Mega-Sableye Stall team for me, I would really appreciate it.

Spikes Klefki + Earth Plate Landorus-T forms a hazard stacking core which can get hazards up even against Mega Sableye stall. The Landorus-T set was designed by alexwolf, which can 2HKO Mega Sableye 82.4% of the time with EQ, allowing it to get rocks up with a little prediction. Klefki is also reliable against Mega Sableye; it can set up a Calm Mind on the switch and proceed to 2HKO with Dazzling Gleam even if MSable boosts:

+1 0 SpA Klefki Dazzling Gleam vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Sableye: 188-224 (61.8 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
(188, 192, 194, 198, 198, 200, 204, 206, 206, 210, 212, 216, 216, 218, 222, 224)
+1 0 SpA Klefki Dazzling Gleam vs. +1 252 HP / 4 SpD Sableye: 128-152 (42.1 - 50%) -- 0.4% chance to 2HKO
(128, 128, 132, 132, 134, 134, 138, 138, 140, 140, 144, 144, 146, 146, 150, 152)

188 + 128 = 316, and Mega Sableye's HP maxes out at 304.

Of course, since Calm Mind is only really useful against MSableye, it can be swapped out for something else if you feel it is too gimmicky. It's worth noting that that last slot is pretty much filler anyway, though.

While being strong against stall, both of these 'mons provide useful utility against offense as well. Klefki has Priority Thunder Wave and a great defensive typing, while Landog checks a number of key players on offense, in particular Talonflame and Pinsir.

I'm looking for an offensive team for these guys, since offensive appreciates Spikes support more than balance and these guys don't fit on stall. Looking forward to what you come up with, and thanks in advance ^_^

I have found M-Pidgeot to be very good if used correctly in the current OU tier as it does have a lot of speed after M-Evo, I have built a team using this core before but I want to see how you guys would build around it.

So anyways, this core is probably the best core when it comes to M-Pidgeot. Dugtrio easily takes care of most of the pokemon that counter/check M-geot, most notably Heatran. Dugtrio provides me with a fast killer and trapper alongside pidgeot and both of them do one shot a lot of mons but are also walled by a few. I am looking for mostly a balance/Bulky Offense team built around this as again these are my favorite playstyles and I want to learn. I think that this could be a learning experience for me in the future as I am trying to become a tour player.

Change sets as you see fit.

I guess I'll throw my hat in the ring. Mega Metagross is a great wallbreaker and weapon, but it has a couple hard stops out there. Mega Sableye, Skarm, Ferrothorn and any Slowbro give it trouble (not wall per se, but make life more difficult, especially with Skarm and Ferro and the subsequent Barb/Rocky Helmet damage). Keldeo handles all of them, including possibly luring and breaking MegaBro with HP Electric (2HKO in most cases). I think there's a lot of potential here, but these guys sometimes struggle against offensive teams. Some things I've tried with them include Chesnaught (to help with Lando-T), SD Talon (to help against offensive teams), and CMSub or Specs Raikou (to help break Mega Slowbro). I'm open to anything offensive or balance, even replacing Keldeo if need be. Just looking for some fresh ideas really.

First I started off using M-Pidgeot and Dugtrio like you requested. Dugtrio was decent but it lacks power and longevity. Dugtrio couldn't live long enough to check multiple threats to M-Pigeot. Keldeo fills in this role perfectly. Keldeo places constant pressure on Rock and Steel type mon's thanks to its incredible Special Attack and it has the added benefit of a great defensive typing. Next up was Rotom-Wash. Rotom-Wash didn't fill any immediate weaknesses. It's such a great pivot and I wanted to pair it with Mega Pidgeot so they can easily bring their teammates in and out of the match. Rotom-W also checks a bunch of threats like Scizor, M-Pinsir, Talonflame, Excadrill, Landorus-T, and others. At this point the team had weaknesses to Electric, Psychic, Grass, and Fairy types. I also wanted a Specially Defensive Pokemon that could easily pivot in and out. Celebi filled in perfectly. Instead of the common supporting Celebi, I chose the Nasty Plot + Baton Pass variant so it can potentially pass boost to M-Pidgeot or Keldeo. I was now in need of a hazard remover. I didn't want to stack too many weaknesses so I decided against Latias + Latios and went with Excadrill. Mainly because it's immune to Electric and Poison type moves and it resists Flying and Fairy type moves. Tyranitar was the last choice. It's an excellent supporting Pokemon that sets up Stealth Rock, it traps and maims Psychic-types that pressure Keldeo, as well as supplying Excadrill with Sandstorm. Optional: Scizor is definitely worth considering instead of Celebi. While Celebi does provide few nice resistances it's a bit of a liability offensively and can open opportunities for opponents to setup. Tyranitar could easily pick up the slack and absorb a few more Special Attacks. This change would bolster the teams offensive capabilty a ton while opening a weakness to Rotom-W. Also note that the loss of Celebi leaves the team with a neutrality to Fighting type moves.

I'm working on Jaroda's and LeoLancer's request and will post the teams tomorrow. I would love it if you guys posted teams with cores that are complete since it helps with teambuilding.

Okay, when i was first trying to build around Choice Band Scizor + Kingdra, I kept on getting mediocre results. They were, however, very fun, as I could use some underused Mega Evolutions, such as Mega Ampharos. But, to make it a better team, I decided to go with Mega Scizor instead of regular Scizor, as I found the regular version to be kind of lackluster. The set i decided on was the Swords Dance + 3 Attacks one, as it goes well along with rain becuase it gains momentum rather than giving it away. It is also great for weakening Ferrothorn, which the rest of the team loves to have gone. On Politoed and Kingdra I only changed up one thing, which was exchanging Perish Song for Encore, which lets it pressure Dragonite and Mega Charizard X, both of which can otherwise switch up moves and be problems. To compliment the core, I added Ferrothorn. My reasoning behind this choice is that it takes care of Azumarill, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Gardevoir, all of which are really annyoing for Kingdra to deal with. To further compliment the main core, I added Choice Scarf Landorus-T. It deals with Mega Gallade, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Beedrill. These Pokemon outsped the entire team outside of rain, and I had no good switch-ins to them, so I found Landorus-T to be a good fit. I chose to run Adamant with Superpower. This lets it pressure Mega Sableye and Clefable on the switch, and has a way of heavily damaging Ferrothorn. For the last slot, I went a back and forth a lot. First off, I wanted to use either Keldeo or Terrakion, as they checked Bisharp. I found them kind of redudant though, and Lati@s were pretty annoying to deal with. Next up I tried Life Orb and Assault Vest Tornadus-T, but AV was too weak to function like I wanted it to. LO is still a decent option though, as it lures in Ferrothorn and does a ton with Hurricane. The Pokemon I decided on was Raikou, as it gains a lot of momentum for the team. It draws in Ferrothorn and Mega Venusaur, so I get a lot of set-up opportunities with Mega Scizor. I went with Choice Specs over Assault Vest, and Thunder over Thunderbolt, which actually makes it pretty strong. There you have the team, I'm not sure on Kingdra's moveset, but it is pretty cool, so I've decided to keep it for now.

Since I want to try these guys on Wifi battle someday, it'd be nice if I won't have to include any legendaries bc I couldn't breed them. But it's fine to have some suggestions.

Needless to say about this duo as they help each other with their typing and checks. I want to build a balance team around the two with some good set up that could help them come in and clean up. A rushdown team would be cool too but I'm inexperience with that, some suggestions could help.

Thanks in advance!

Dragalge as a whole in ORAS has piqued my interest immensely due to it getting Adaptability, and since its typing offers a lot of things to check (i.e. Keldeo+Fairies), I wanted to try it out for myself. It took me a while to find a remotely good partner for Dragalge due to its unique properties, until around today when I saw srn's suggestion in the ORAS Dragalge analysis: Mega Gyarados. I really like the synergy between these two type-wise, and the fact that Dragalge basically annihilates any possible wall or good offensive switch-in to Mega Gyarados (Keldeo, Chesnaught, Azumarill, etc.), while Mega Gyarados usually takes advantage of Ground-types such as Lando-T and is kinda good against Heatran.

Some small issues I see in the core are that there aren't 100% answers to Chansey or Greninja, even though both Dragalge and Mega Gyarados can sorta switch in to Greninja well. A non-prediction reliant method to deal with Steels such as Mega Scizor and the like is also appreciated, but not necessary.

I would kinda see this becoming a bulky offense team (Dragalge is kinda weird on HO due to the weakness stacking with the Latis), though it can deviate from that format if needed. Even Mega Gyarados can be replaced by another Mega if you really want it, all I want is a cool Dragalge team :/

Alright Jaroda here's the team. I was a bit excited to start this because the core intrigued me, mostly because of their great defensive synergy. Now lets get to it. A stall team build was obvious because of the choices. The goal of the team is to spread around Toxic and Spikes to wear the opposing team down in preparation for a Bisharp, Sableye, or Hawlucha sweep. A semi-stall featuring offensive Dragalge was intriguing at first but I chose a Special Defensive moveset due to the teams inability to adequately handle Charizard-Y + Keldeo cores. I also went with Hidden Power [Fire] instead of Scald or Dragon Pulse because Ferrothorn and Skarmory were to hard to handle. Next up was Alomomola. I wanted a proven defensive Pokemon that could easily switch in and out while replenishing its teammates HP with Wish, nothing really does that better than Alomomola. Alomomola covers a ton of physical threats because of its incredible defenses, it can easily toxic + wish + protect stall almost all of them. I then added Chansey to help the team with Special Attackers. There's nothing I could say about Chansey that isn't common knowledge. It walls a ton of Special Attackers, spreads Toxic, and heals the team of any status ailments. Bisharp was added to deter Defog since the team heavily relies on hazard damage. Most players think twice about Defogging just because Bisharp is on the team which gives the team a step up on Defog users. But at the same time the Bisharp Defog blocking tactic is obvious so some teams will be well prepared for Bisharp. Hawlucha could be used over Bisharp since Choice Scarf Landorus-T, M-Gyarados, and some other threats I can't remember that Hawlucha can easily handle. Both are great Pokemon and both have great merit.

I'm sorry LeoLancer I'll post your team next I promise, I just want to test more and make final changes. I'll probably post 1 or 2 team(s) then take another request every time I post here. Keep them coming. Shoutout to AM for helping test this team, I'll probably use him again for future teams.

Well done Rob. I appreciate the help. I did test Alomomola for a while honestly, and it's good. Regenerator + Wish was exemplary. I tried using a Chesnaught for a while. The ability to use Leech Seed and Spikey Shield plus the use of Bulletproof for Gengar's moves was helpful but the numerous Fairy weaknesses became an issue. The team looks great though, I'll consider it. I will say though that Dragon Tail on Dragalge has been so useful for the few pokemon that try to set up on him. Mega Slowbro is a good example.

So I chose Mega Beedril because it hits with stuff like u-turn poison jab etc. Next I chose Greninja because it covered most of the counters and checks that Beedrill has and it had synergy. Latias was next chosen to take the hits and support beedrill and greninja by defog/ healing wish.( You can change Mega Beeedrill's moves or greninja's if u please because I thought of this in the shower.) I also don't want to get rekted by stall

this is just your basic mega bee squad (shouts to am for providing the base). i started with bee + mag, but i changed mag from a specs set to a scarf set because the extra power specs offered wasn't as necessary as having the ability to outrun most smogonbird talonflame. garchomp is just your generic rocker that beats heatran and shares some offensive synergy with magnezone, reducing the need for fire blast and enabling the use of swords dance to provide a momentum grabber / back-up sweeper. jolly knock off diggersby (thanks for this set, am!) is here to make trapping skarmory even easier by acting as a lure so it can knock off the potential shed shell. it also acts as a hard hitter that complements mega beedrill by taking out heatran and other grounded steels that impede mega beedrill. latias is here to check things like thundurus, provide hazard removal support, give a teammate a second chance at sweeping again. azumarill is filler that keeps tyranitar, heatran, keldeo, and a few other notable threats in check. having another source of priority and a lure for ferrothorn is another neat little thing about this team. overall, this plays like a standard offense team, and i'm sure there are plenty of options that can work over some of the existing slots. while it may be vulnerable to the standard offensive threats, i'm confident that good plays can overcome them.

Celticpride, i have a few mega metagross squads with that exact core you're requesting, so i'll post one after i do a few more tests to find a combo i'm comfortable with sharing.

Hey I would like to join in on teambuilding, i love teambuilding and is also a solid builder, I'm also a tutor in oras ou and have plenty off knowledge when it comes to teambuilding, sets, cores, strategies etc. just wanted to throw this out as i rly like this idea!

Edit: also on the beedrill team Trinitrotoluene posted i would run sash + sd over lo and knock off on diggersby as this gives latias heal wish more utility. also u have knock off on beedrill which has basically the same switchins as digger has, and zone + drill already beats gar, this will also help a lot more vs stall as i can't see any dedicated stallbreakers. also having sash digger helps vs greninja which only drill can beat otherwise, and generally helps vs ho teams.

So during XY, I tried and failed badly to make a CharY team on cartridge due to move tutor moves being unavailable and limited legendaries. However, with ORAS out now no Mon is off the board, and new mons got fun tools to play with. I've always been fond of the CharY and Chesnaught pair as they cover eachothers weaknessses, birdspam withstanding, so well. Rotom-W is here to cover that and complete the FWG core. I would like the team to revolve around chip damage and wearing down the opponent to KO range for CharY or a revenge killer on the team to finish off.

Charizard-Mega-Y (M) @ Charizardite Y

Ability: Drought

EVs: 4 Atk/ 252 SAtk / 252 Spe

Hasty Nature

- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Earthquake
- Roost

Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry

Ability: Levitate

EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe

Bold Nature

- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Volt Switch
- Rest

Chesnaught (M) @ Rocky Helmet

Ability: Bulletproof

EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Atk

Impish Nature

- Drain Punch
- Super Fang
- Spiky Shield
- Substitute

Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Rash Nature
- Rock Polish
- Diamond Storm
- Moonblast
- Earth Power

Ferrothorn @ Shed Shell
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Protect

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Pain Split

Diancie is the only set in stone set, the other two are placeholders :)

This core is pretty simple but also effective. RP Diancie beats offense and stall (namely Sableye) but its very weak to certain things. Mega metagross and scizor are the biggest immediate threats, so I added Rotom-W to the core to help check them. It also covers the ground weakness so that was a plus! Ferrothorn comes in to take water/ poison moves directed at diancie and to set hazards. Together Ferrothorn and Rotom check alot of the meta by themselves but there are a few things that this core is weak to that you will need to check. Conkeldurr has been a thorn in my side because he laughs at residual damage and isnt killed in one hit by moonblast, but this one isnt THAT bad honestly. Another issue is scarf keldeo, I can play around it but its still annoying. The last has to be greninja which can just rip this core apart. (but to be fair it does that to alot of things)

Requesting a team built around these two mons. Mega Gyarados is a really great dragon dancer for balanced and offensive teams, because it's really bulky, and gets intimidate, along with getting moves like taunt and substitute. It also got crunch this gen, which is really awesome because dark + water STAB is super hard to wall. Kyu-b forms a really good core with mega gyarados because he can wallbreak and weaken most checks and counters for mega gyarados to sweep late game.
Here is the mega gyarados set:
Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Taunt/Substitute/Ice Fang

I don't really care that much about kyu-b's set, and try to make the team like bulky offense, or just regular offense, but not hyper offense. Oh yeah and don't make it a stall team because stall is stupid.
Thanks!
