So I've been trying to learn Go, and I figured that a few people may play at Smogon. No one I know in real life plays it.

We can play online using this:

Maybe someone can even make a Smogon room. Any pointers on the best way for a newbie to learn Go would also be nice.

I used to play in the KGS server. I'm playing in the IGS server now (http://www.pandanet.co.jp/English/). I'm at 14 kyu in IGS.

For learning or training I recommend http://www.goproblems.com/ . Solving go problems is one of the best ways to improve your go.

I'm still confused about which positions to play and such, and I really hope I start knowing more what I'm doing. How did you learn as a new player?

woooo I love Go, but I've never had the chance to play online, I'd just teach my friends to play and beat them since they're noobs, so no idea if I'm good or not

I'll check out those sites though!
