Welcome to the Hoenn Cup challengers! This is an ADV OU league-style tournament in which 72 participants will be separated into 12 divisions of 6 players each. I guess this is the perfect time to host such a big ADV OU tournament with that fresh news we just received from the Pokémon Company! For those who really want pictures of McMeghan naked, feel free to PM me =]
Tournament Rules
- 3 Leagues (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald)
- 3 Divisions per League
- 6 Players per Division
- 54 Total Players
- 5 Rounds, 18 Pools of 3 players each Round
- Best of 1 until playoffs
- Standard Rules of the ADV OU tier
- 2 wins = 3 points
- 1 win / 1 loss = 1 point
- 0 wins = -1 point
- 2 wins, one of which via activity = 2 points
At the end of the regular season period, points will be added up and the 2 players with the most points in each division will move into playoffs which means 24 players will move into playoffs. This will be a single elimination tournament and matchups will consist of Best 2 out of 3 matches. This will be a Round Robin Finals.
Activity
I am enforcing strict deadline rules for this tournament. Each round will only be a week long. I won't give any extension simply because it's impossible for this kind of tournaments (it would mess up with the pools of the next round) so I'll only allow you to get your matches done within a few hours after the deadline will have passed. To give you an idea, I usually go to bed at 3 AM my time which is 3 hours before the deadline so I'll always post the next round right after waking up around 1 PM my time.
