The battle with the Guardians begins once again! These water denizens are up to something nefarious, as Azumarill jumps in front of Gastrodon to take some of those Grass-type moves. zarator's cunning changes up his team's plan, as they switch to super-effective Poison-type moves to majorly punish Azumarill for its bravery. But as the final blow lands, a chill covers the battlefield -- all of our challenger's team start to feel slow and icy!

The battle rages as both of zarator's Grass-types lay critical hits into Gastrodon, doing preposterous amounts of damage. But lo, Venusaur is a touch too slow, and Azumarill capitalizes on its temporary slowness to give it an Encore! Venusaur has no choice but to launch into Azumarill with another Sludge Bomb, leaving Gastrodon to easily rebound off of Roserade's Solar Beam for a KO.​
