And once more Lady Luck protected your Gengar from harm. The adorable floette-e manages to get even more adorable while asleep and it is weak enough for the balls to be thrown. While there is always the possibility of a reversal, you feel that this legendary is within your grasp. More than never.

And of course you don't mind stealing the guardian of this meadow. Mean.

I don't know why I feel that I am missing something important...if I do let me know please.

Cherish Ball 1!

Capture Damage: (36-FLOOR(0.7))*2= 72
225 CHP left!

Floette recovered 12EN! (72->84)

NOTE: Since pokeballs suspend the combat entirely (other than +12en per ball) I am ruling that nightmare doesn't kick in, as actions don't pass (again: suspended). But of course, feel free to get an actual ruling from iar or dogfish stating otherwise and I will change it back. (Besides: even with nightmare, the end result will be the pretty much the same...with floette fainting even <_<)

Cherish Ball 2!

Capture Damage: See above for formula = 72
153 CHP left!

Floette recovere 12 EN! (84->96)

Cherish Ball 3!

Capture Damage: Blah blah blah = 72

81CHP left!

Floette Recovers 12 EN! (96->100)

Floette went on a rampage!

You throw three Cherish Balls to try and weaken Floette-E. The end result was...well, it wasn't that, you can be sure of it. The first ball failed, the second one also failed and the third one not only failed but pissed Floette-E to the point of waking up and exploiting your lower guard to dispatch Cyric! While you removed a good hunch of Floette-E's CHP, you lost your Sleep inducer and this just got harder than you expected. Also, unless I misunderstood how weakness policy works (very possible) I will have a dozen of those asap <_<;.

Player Orders

Wait, why did Floette-E act? I thought it wouldn't have acted unless I threw balls while it was at 100% Energy <.<

Whilst I still need to update various parts of OPs, a target Pokemon begins its attacks one it reaches 100 EN, not when it has 100 EN.

Capture Round:

When you move to capture a Pokemon, all attacks suspend and the trainer throws a Pokeball at the target. Poke-balls will only work when there is one opposing Pokemon left, as other Pokemon will intercept the Pokeball. If a Capture fails, the targeted Pokemon breaks free and uses a Chill, increasing their energy by 12. If the Boss gets back to 100 Energy, they will have a round to Attack your Pokemon.

This ruling at least hasn't changed, and I believe has always been constant since the start of TLR?

I have been summoned.

Floette is apparently always Female, so the Floette-E that Zarator is trying to catch is female as of now. This has implications due to gender-specific moves, even though the concept of a Kitsunoh using Attract is one that genuinely scares me.

That is all.

Mm... looks like I'm not in a good spot.

Taunt - Will-O-Wisp
If Floette uses a P/E move on A1, replace your respective action with Iron Tail.
If Kitsunoh is at 21 HP or higher when it would act on A2, replace your respective action with Substitute (20 HP).

hmmm...no sound moves to combo with, can't figure out a way to deal that much damage...so stall it is!

Well you try to weaken Floette-E without KOing it, but guess what, it doesn't care if your pokemon faints or not! The end result is that Mask is losing Hp in an alarming rate, while the same can't be said about Floette-E.

The next round will decide everything. Godspeed

You order Kitsunoh to endure, after realizing, together with this stupid ref, that Floette-e sole endure-proof move didn't work on steel-types. What a barren movepool, I mean jesus.

You manage to get a burn on the Floette-E and, while it seems much healthier than Mask, which is pretty much done for, it seems that it will have trouble in resisting another set of balls...

And after 2 Cherish Balls and a hard grueling match, you managed to catch the Floette-E!

In an attempt to make peace with the little fairy, you send it out and get close to it...

floette.png

*sigh* "Once more I someone's pokemon... I hope no one suffers more because of that..."

And the floette-E keeps looking at the sky, completely ignoring you.

It seems that it will take a while to befriend this pokemon. To work, I guess.

Congratulations, zarator! You have successfully caught the Floette-E!

Prizes:
