This Weeks Winner is a tie and goes to escarlata's Offensive Celebia and nameless90's SD+3 Attack Celebi, congratz on you both for entering the Hall of Fame!

The Pokemon for Week 10 is Gliscor!

Gliscor is a unique Pokemon with interesting movepool and with a Toxic Orb and its ability Poison Heal it recovers itself while being able to not get burned or any other status from it. Another thing about Gliscor is that it is quite unexpected what they can do in their tricky moveset they run, since they all mostly look the same. I'll say good luck to you fellow innovators :]

Acro-Fling Glisor

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 116 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 136 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Fling
- Swords Dance / Knock Off / Roost
- Earthquake

Gotta go with a classic from my days playin handhelds. The goal is to get off the Toxic orb so you can have Poison Heal right away to stay healthy, then to Fling it onto something that wants to try and wall you, or well, pretty much anything. Once the toxic orb has been flung it is free to Acro which works wonders as it has stab and the lack of item boost it gives. And with the access to Swords Dance and great natural bulk and its ability to force switches it acts as a great wall breaker and pivot.

Can also run Knock Off or roost in place of SD for more utility or longevity if felt necessary

EVs

the EVs are set so it can outspeed positive nature max speed base 80s with max Attack and the rest in HP to help with its natural bulk as well as 4 in SpD to help hit a toxic heal number

Stealth Rock

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpD / 72 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Earthquake / Knock Off
- Roost / U-turn / Swords Dance

Good overall bulk and typing, along with status immunity and Taunt for defoggers makes Gliscor a very decent user of SR. Roost allows for more recovery so that it can take on Latios better but U-turn allows it to pivot given its already good recovery from PH. Swords Dance lets Gliscor beat Sableye so it can SR against it too.

Oh ya 244 HP EVs makes no sense outside of SubTox for making infinite Subs. Yes it hits a PH number but taking 8 more points of Def/SpD and putting it into HP gives it more bulk both physically and specially, and heals the same amt from PH.

Screech Gliscor

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 56 Def / 204 Spe
Careful Nature
- Screech
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Roost

General idea: The only change with this moveset is the addition of Screech, a status move which enables Gliscor to force switch-outs maximizing the two attacks it runs even without the EVs investment which can be used mainly for longevity and speed. It is much more useful if you can drop some layer of hazards to pressure the opponent between the decision to stay-in or switch. Simple but effective and 85% accuracy is worth the risk to miss.

EVs spread: The EVs are almost the same of the physical defensive set on the calculator (bar HP which reaches a Poison Heal number and Spe which runs 4 more EVs than the usual spread) which I think are interesting because allows this thing to outspeed something reaching 277 speed while having the bulk to use Screech one or two times.

Team(mates) support: hazards are the best friends of this Gliscor which has to force switches between the bulk with automatic recovery and Screech.

Scolipede #2 (Double dance baton pass)

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 12 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Tailwind
- Baton Pass

- Earthquake / Knock Off

With SD, tailwind and baton pass, Gliscor can effectively pass attack and speed boosts simultaneously to turn a powerful but slow teammate such as M-Heracross, M-Medicham etc into a terrifying sweeper and cheese your way to victory, something which hasn't been possible since the BP nerf. Great for causing ragequits on the ladder. Totally skill-less but effective if you can pull it off :]

Max Def or SpD is situational depending on what you want to set up on, minimum speed gives a slow pass to protect your sweeper on the off chance you want to pass a SD but don't have a chance to get tailwind up, or when you just want a slow baton pass for momentum. Choice of earthquake, knock off or other coverage move is situational depending on team composition but can also turn Gliscor into a decent breaker/cleaner in its own right, earthquake is more powerful for sweeping but knock off has better coverage & cripples common taunt/roar users.

Cancer Gliscor

Gliscor @ Bright Powder
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Substitute / Sandstorm / Roost
- Earthquake
- Knock Off / Acrobatics

Basically, this takes advantage of sandstorm to easily set up Swords Dances. With Bright Powder+Sand Veil, a move with a base accuracy of 100 will only hit 72.72...% of the time (1*(1/(1.1*1.25))=0.72...) of the time. With Gothitelle or Wobbuffet support to eliminate the problems for it and Smooth Rock Tyranitar and/or Hippo support, it can really make your opponent start raging at their inability to take it down through hax. While its not as cancerous as it was in previous gens due to no permaweather, it is still infuriating and kinda uncompetitive - but whatever. Pair it with other Sand Veil users and Sand Rush users to increase the rage levels!

Counter Gliscor

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 116 Def / 148 Spe
Impish Nature
- Counter
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Taunt

This set aims to take advantage of Gliscor's great defense and retaliate with Counter. With reliable recovery it can easily do this throughout the entire match dealing heavy damage to any physical attacker.

nameless90, Mimic isn't legal with Poison Heal, iirc Mimic is a Gen III Tutor Move and thus can't be found on a Poison Heal Gliscor.

gamer boy, I'd cut Wing Attack and Aerial Ace from your set, an additional 5 BP isn't enough to lose the chance of having a 110 BP attack. Knock Off is probably better than all of those tbh but Acro is decent enough.

ABR used this set to great effectiveness vs MetalGro$$ in the OLT

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpD / 72 Spe
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

Basically lures in TankChomps, Landorus, and opposing Gliscor when 1v1 against them. It's a really nice set to use as showcased here

Lead Gliscor

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability : Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
-Tailwind
-Stealth Rock / Toxic
-Taunt
-Knock Off

This Gliscor Set gives a more supportive role to your team than your standard tank set. This is move set is is primarily just to lead off. Gliscor has the bulk to survive long enough to set up tailwind and stealth rocks. It can also taunt opposing Pokemon. If you don't need to set up stealth rocks, toxic can be used for some free status effect instead. You can forfeit Knock Off for roost in order to have some recovery and stall, but taunt will shut him down, so it's not recommended.

Defog Gliscor

Gliscor @ Leftovers/ BrightPowder
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 244 HP/ 8 Def/ 200 SpD/ 56 Spe
Careful Nature
-Roost
-Defog
-Earthquake
-Knock Off/ Toxic/ Substitute

This set derives from the analysis' specially defensive stallbreaker set, but runs Defog over Taunt. It aims to be a sand team's cancerous, yet viable, option as a Defogger. It functions similarly to specially defensive Skarmory, being a bulky defogger that isn't weak to rocks and has a solid defensive typing, but can abuse the sand with Sand Veil (and Brightpowder should it be chosen). Use Lefties if you want more recovery, or brightpowder for extra shenanigans with evasiveness. Roost and Defog are self-explanatory, and Earthquake provides a useful STAB. Knock Off works in the last slot as a way to cripple opposing Pokemon and prevent Gliscor from being walled by flying-types and levitate-users, while Toxic can cripple switch-ins and Substitute makes abusing sand easier. Note that it checks opposing sand abusers like Excadrill.

Tl;dr It accomplishes specially defensive Gliscor's task of being a bulky wall, but uses Defog over Taunt and utilizes evasion hax.

There's a reason this set isn't on the analysis--it's actually a move incompatibility. Gliscor only learns Defog in Gen IV by HM, while Poison Heal is its Hidden Ability. You'll have to run Sand Veil.

Agilipass Gliscor

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 SpD / 56 Spe
Careful Nature
- Agility
- Baton Pass
- Earthquake / Knock Off
- Roost

The idea of this set is pretty simple : use Gliscor's bulk to set up an Agility, and then pass it to a wallbreaker like Manaphy or Hoopa-u, which can cause huge problems for some offensive teams at +2 Speed. Thanks to its defensive investement and Roost, it still checks most of the things it usually handles, but with the added benefit of being able to support a wallbreaker.

I'm going to start voting now and not tomorrow as I may be gone being busy with irl stuff, so I don't want to risk screwing up; hopefully you understand. Here are your choices:

Scolipede 2.0 Gliscor
Cancer Gliscor
Counter Gliscor
Ice Fang Gliscor
Lead Gliscor

P.S. Since I'll be gone for sure on Saturday, I may or may not update to Week 11, if so I'll update on Sunday

Isn't this just a sd that u switch out of, though? I guess it works well against unaware mons, but the trade-off of being otherwise completely inferior doesn't seem worth it.

Acid spray is used on tenta because it doesn't have an actual boosting move.

Because Gliscor can switch-out after the Screech thus supporting another teammate. Screech can be used as a Swords Dance if Gliscor stays in as a standalone attacker but, generally, you have to see it as a way to support your attackers.

I vote for
Agilipass Gliscor

after you screech, you switch out? best have a pursuit user... guess it could work if you need to weaken like hippowdon or something but you might as well use taunt for that, don't really see the point.
