The Power of Plasma (An OU Warstory)

Hi everyone! Recently I made a Jolt based team that is really fun to use. After many battles, this was my favorite. Since everyone else has to have warstories these days, I'll have one too. This is my first try, so please tell me on how to improve it for next time.

My Team:

Comments in Red.

Rules: Ladder Match, Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Evasion Clause, Species Clause, Strict Damage Clause
Toxie2000 sent out Swampert (lvl 100 Swampert ?).
tawp64 sent out Roserade (lvl 100 Roserade ?).
Roserade used Sleep Powder.
Roserade's attack missed!
Swampert used Stealth Rock.
Pointed stones float in the air around the foe's team!

This wasn't a very good start. I constantly changed my choice between Leaf Storm and Sleep Powder, and I end up with a miss. But, SP has crappy accuracy, so what's else to expect?

Roserade used Sleep Powder.
Swampert fell asleep!
Swampert is fast asleep!

That's the ticket. Now I gotta TS. I won't kill him because Roserade has a much more valuable job with Toxic Spikes, so killing a crippled Swampert won't help much.
---
Toxie2000 switched in Scizor (lvl 100 Scizor ?).
Roserade used Toxic Spikes.
Toxic Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!

Oh crap, why do I see these more than Heatran? Anyways, my team hates him. The only way out is through Gyara and Rotom. But, as I said, gotta get down those spikes.

It'll switch out! Yeah! Sub/TWave/Air Slash/Aura Sphere right? Who would just let it die? Time to bring out the scout.

Toxie2000's Team

Props and Slops
Props:
-Roserade for getting down TSpikes
-Both Rotoms, for messing each other up through out the battle
-Jolteon, for racking 3 kills
-Togekiss, for stalling me and annoying me, but it did good at it :)
-Tyranitar, for stopping the Flygon
Slops:
-Sleep Powder for missing
-The terrible misplays we made
-Gyarados, for not killing anything

Good Warstory for First Try, but lacking commentary. Also a better battle would be better.

6/10

I'm I high rater.

Poor battle, poor commentary, both you and your opponent made many mistakes, and Attract isn't good; it's too situational. With Gyarados and Jolteon, you'd think you'd use Volt Absorb to absorb the T-bolt/T-wave, but you didn't. Overall poor warstory, pick a better battle, and make the comments express your thoughts not just 'Lol just gotta kill it with hidden power'.

Shadow Ball doesn't boost any stats. The commentary was pretty bad etc. Better luck next time.

I stopped reading when I saw Choice Band Rotom. Wtf what is the purpose of that, and what does it do that a Scarfer or Specs user can't do better?

I assume its purpose is to trick a Band to Blissey. But I can't see it working, as Tyranitar is really annoyed by a Band, right?

Bad battle, kinda bad commentary, too many misplays. Better luck next time. Also, if you want to piss off a blissey, trickSCARF.

You didn't use any of the advantages of your team to win, yet you still won. This tells me your opponent was rather unskilled. You have two electric immunities and you still allowed your Gyarados to go down to an obvious electric attack, from a choiced opponent no less. You also seem to have a general lack of knowledge of the metagame. For example, after seeing Togekiss sub, it is pretty safe to assume it will use T-wave, another perfect chance to switch in one of your electric immunities. The Scizor didn't use Bullet Punch because it was likely Choice locked into Superpower. And for the record, you needed the crit on Scizor to KO it, and it would have KOed you back with Superpower even at -1.

This was a pretty bad battle. Your comments were terrible, you made several misplays, and you have pokemon with dumb movesets.

Attract Jolteon is a terrible idea; if you don't want to run Baton Pass, you can use Substitute or Charge Beam. You can't Attract a pokemon that is the same gender as you or has no gender, and as this battle clearly shows, even when the Lucario was infatuated, your Jolteon still died.

Here were my thoughts " Hahaha! I got you now! I can just Fire Blast without worrying about anything at all! Nothing at all!"
---
Scizor used Superpower.
Oh yeah, I'm paralyzed. That one really got me.
I don't know what's worse, the fact that you forgot your Heatran was paralyzed, or the fact that you forgot Scizors carry Superpower. Come on now, that is at least as big of a misplay as letting your Gyra die to Rotom.

CB Rotom? Kinda odd. Anyways, it was a meh battle and the comments could have been better. Better luck next time!
