Pokémon is a game designed for teenagers. After all, is a kids game really supposed to have religious fanatics, kids their age encouraged to go out into the world alone, and giant creatures of rock/ice/steel fighting giant creatures resembling dragons, leviathans, robots, and countless other examples of why it deserves a PG 10+ rating?? This is clearly a teenager's game. Due to this, a tournament will be hosted catering to these people. Not really, but I needed to write a paragraph or so of text to make the OP look nicer. Go click the example links or something.

RULES:
1: Only NFE Pokémon are allowed.
--- Porygon2 yes, Pinsir no, Garchomp no, Rotom-W/other forme changers no.
2: Your team MUST be legal on the Smogon OU ladder that is currently in effect as of the beginning of the round your battle was placed.
--- If a ban/unban happens at any point during the tournament, it takes effect as soon as a new round starts. Extensions (Round 1 match, something gets banned, Round 2 starts but a battle is an R1 extension) use the banlist of R1, for example. Rule 1 takes priority in conflicts.
3: You must follow anything not already stated by Rule 2 that is stated in this thread.
--- Don't be an asshole to your fellow participants. This is a game, have fun.
4: Matches are played in a Best Of 1 format.
--- One match decides the winner. If you choose to play a Best of 3, I reserve the right to manually decide the winner based on the winner of the first match, and if there are complications, to force a rematch.

askaninjask said he'd see me on irc, but we haven't. so activity, I guess.
I don't think mine should have gone to a coinflip. I finally saw him on irc with two days to go to the deadline and he still wasn't ready to play. Requesting (again) the activity win.

yeah it was due to lag... first eriados lagged out and it took about him about 5 min and then on the next turn i kept waiting forever for my move to be displayed on my laptop screen...

regarding Chesnaught vs scorpdestroyer - I apparently missed the post where majaspic said he won; majaspic has replaced Chesnaught making the matchup scorpdestroyer vs majaspic22

regarding srk1214 vs askaninjask - if the latter is in agreement with the former regarding activity levels on IRC--the method of contact, then i will replace askaninjask with srk. until this happens, askaninjask will be the victor, as "lets meet up on irc we see eachother all the time" is not in my opinion a valid method of communication and match planning, as i am unable to figure out, at the end of the round, who was the more active on IRC, especially for channnels i do not often look at or are often quiet for large portions of the day

regarding indian vs eriados - the rules for disconnects state as such:
In other tournaments, if a player disconnects and contends that they could still win, the optimal solution is to recreate the exact situation the disconnection occurred at during the battle. If this is not feasible due to unreasonable battle length, highly improbable circumstances, or some other reason, the player who did not disconnect may choose to rematch with either the same teams or (the option to use) new teams. Timing out is still classified as a loss, unless the reason for timing out is a disconnection. If there is any suspicion that a disconnect was carried out deliberately to take advantage of this rule in any way, we reserve the right to exercise a harsh punishment.
Due to the circumstances, I do not believe the optimal solution is available to us, as I have no reliable method of making sure both of your teams remain unchanged from the first time. Therefore, I am giving eriados, the player who did not time out, the ability to choose between:

1: Play a new game with the same teams. (If it is found you switched moves/abilities/pokemon you will be punished)
2: Play a new game with new teams.
3: Take the disconnect win.
