Building on that, my favorite Alomomola spread has been 40 HP / 252 Def / 216 SpD Bold. I forget the exact benchmarks it hits but I remember it was definitely important

EDIT: It survives the 2HKO from Scarf Hydreigon's Draco Meteor (no SR)

252 SpA Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Alomomola: 258-304 (54.6 - 64.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-2 252 SpA Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Alomomola: 129-153 (27.3 - 32.4%) -- 55.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

4/252 does 96.8% max

Your spread of 40/216 actually does more damage to Alom...

252 SpA Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 40 HP / 216 SpD Alomomola: 271-319 (56.3 - 66.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
-2 252 SpA Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 40 HP / 216 SpD Alomomola: 135-160 (28 - 33.2%) -- 91.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

40/216 does 98.7% max

So, 4 HP/252 Def/252 Sp Def is the optimal spread..

I thought it was based on the uu.text not 1630 stats humph! I did a test team and got to 1400 really quickly shoot! Lol

Are we expecting the rise of fletchinder again as a DH to combat the suspect volc?

Ill get my team in a bit, i think its pretty close or just over the 35% mark if were doing 1630 (i calculated it at 33%) based off nidoqueen as a DH lol

Mence wasn't included for the first DH month because it didn't have any time to rank because it just dropped. It would probably make sense for Hax to be banned for this month. (I haven't started laddering yet, so I'll go ahead and change my team, either way it's decided.)

Haxorus does indeed have usage this month, so it can be used. However just to keep things even, and doing what Mazz did when Hydreigon stayed in UU...

Haxorus can be used, though it will impose a 6% penalty on your team.

...Meaning, technically it now counts for 15% instead of just 9%. Pay very close attention to your teams if you wish to use it
