Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.

Night Vista
You come to a beautiful vista that overlooks Timeless Tower. Under the beautiful moonlight, You can spot the bridge you came here in, and you still look up at the massive height of the main tower. You can spot the Iron Dungeon from here as well. There is some room to move up and get a better view, though there might be wild Pokemon here.
And that's why your trainer can feel minor vibrations in the ground every so often, like a TLR-changing earthquake is going to happen the moment you catch Regirock (or KO Regirock, or get party KOed), gather all remaining items on the ground, and use your Escape Rope to GTFO.
As you move forward on the night Vista, you spend some time basking in the glow of the moonlight. Everything looks a little less glum under the pale glow of the moon, which seems to reduce the contrast on the harshness of the place. After a short time you go back to your adventure. You hear a slight rustle come from the entrance, but it dissipates quickly. Better to just keep going.

Impregnable Crag: Boss Battle
The sheer roughness of the terrain in this dark lair is impressive enough, it feels like an impassable object just looking at it. The overwhelmingly jagged terrain takes your every once of will to navigate, but eventually you come into an upper chamber that has all the appearances of a throne room. Jagged rocks loom ominously at the corners of the sphere. A pedestal stands alone in the center of the room in front of a massive stone throne with a massive statue sitting in it. It has a stone shaped exactly like the one in the mosaic in at the entrance.
You grab the item and obtain the Rock Ruby
All of a sudden the room shakes violently, and the statue comes to life! It's facial features and details crumble away, revealing an angry Regirock. The pieces that before were so fine now disintegrate into a dust. That isn't the end of them, unfortunately, as Regirock cries out and the entire room's soil seems to be blown apart and thrown around into a massive Sandstorm. You can barely hear it, but a rock crashes behind you, sealing you inside. Regirock stands firm, daring you to attack it.
Arena Rules:
Stealth Rock in effect on challengers for the duration of the battle. It cannot be removed by Rapid Spin. [Tort's note: using smashlloyd20's run of Rock Crag as a benchmark, it applies turn 0 of the battle instead of pre-battle]
Constant, unalterable Sandstorm.
Fly and Bounce cannot gain enough altitude to evade.
Regirock's attacks do not calculate evasive abilities.
Item cannot be removed from boss, but can be Embargoed or Magic Roomed.

16:10 Tortferngatr see Texas's response
16:12 dogfish44 I don't like either. His opening team will be Lairon / Nect / Rev, and he won't use the potion (Because there is a ruddy difference for the ref workload -.-)
16:13 Tortferngatr ? What exactly would that difference be?
16:13 dogfish44 if you're having to do more work at all, then there's a difference :\
16:14 dogfish44 If he wanted to apply potions et al, he should've done it at the designated point. And he definitely doesn't get to shuffle his team around because he's suddenly remembered to factor in the arena
So we're potioning revenankh because it's literally no difference and I didn't realize I still had a potion b/c backpack wasn't posted in that update imo
Alright. Fine. I fucked up there; and I'll let you use the potion to make up for it. Dogfish still didn't like the reasoning, but he admitted you have a point (I think; I don't recall the exact words of the IRC conversation.) He can still veto this (as can IAR I guess), but for now it works.
For the record, we all agree that Lairon is still opening over Lucario.
Revenankh: Power Whip (Rhyperior) ~ Power Whip (Rhyperior)
If your target is under the effects of a Protective/Evasive action that turn, target the other Pokemon
If Rhyperior uses Metal Burst when you are targeting it, Glare Regirock on the first instance and Glare Rhyperior on the second
Necturna: Lovely Kiss (Regirock) ~ Grass Knot (Rhyperior)
If your target is under the effects of a Protective/Evasive action that turn, target the other Pokemon
If Rhyperior uses Metal Burst when you are targetting it, Knock Off Regirock on the first instance and Skill Swap (Forewarn/Sturdy) on the second instance
Regirock: Mimic (Necturna, Lovely Kiss)--Protect (Rhyperior)
Rhyperior: Protect (Regirock)--Rock Blast (Necturna)
IF turn 2 you are asleep (and not going to wake up when you act), use Sleep Talk (Ice Punch [Necturna], Fire Punch [Necturna], Rock Blast [Necturna], Shadow Claw [Necturna]))

Lucario is sent out automatically with the option to mega evolve. Presuming Lucario will Mega Evolve, Rhyperior's orders:
Rhyperior: Ice Punch (Necturna)--Fire Punch (Necturna)
IF you are targeted with a damaging Grass-type move use Metal Burst and push actions back.
IF Necturna is under the effects of a Protective/evasive move use Shadow Claw (Revenankh) and push actions back.

The sandstorm dies down and the sneaky pebbles drop to the ground, but the TLR-encompassing earthquake REALLY starts to get into gear and the room starts collapsing.
You pick up the Focus Band and Expert Belt and use your smuggled-in-for-flavor-reasons Escape Rope to GTFO.

22:52 Tortferngatr for bureaucratic reasons
22:53 Tortferngatr do you want to a) Continue through another Timeless Tower TLR (Please only specify if you want to claim what you have earned up to this point if you choose this option). b) Leave Timeless Tower.
22:53 Texas leave
And so Brave Sir Texas GTFOed from Timeless Tower, and there was much rejoicing.
I'm not even going to try claiming an update from that last bit there. Texas Cloverleaf, enjoy your new Regirock.
As each battle in The Legend Run is commensurate with a regular ASB Battle—1 EC, 2 MC, 1 AC or 3 MC—and the standard amount of CC for each battle will be rewarded in each battle during the course of the challenge. The only difference in these battles tends to be turn order. Trap Battles operate slightly differently, with full EC/MC/AC for the Pokémon trapped in combat and 1 MC for the Pokémon that join after one/two rounds.
The items Exp Share, Amulet Coin, and Lucky Egg are banned and will have no effect in a TLR. CC bonuses for a full movepool will only be applied at large (Guardian or Boss) battles. The natural growth from all the battles is already well worth it, considering that most battles have the enemy outmatched and outnumbered. This serves to not accelerate an already fast rate of gain.
You will also keep any items you find and of course, you can keep any Pokémon captured even if you ultimately fail to KO or Capture the boss. Certain items will have to be sold at the end of a run but during the run and in the wrap-up, they can be used if applicable.
