[OVERVIEW]
Trapinch may at first seem outclassed by Diglett, but its higher Attack stat allows it to KO some Pokemon that Diglett cannot. Trapinch also has the bulk to switch in safely on attacks that Diglett cannot, but its Ground-typing leaves it vulnerable to many common attacks. It is also restricted by its low Speed, which often limits it to only one KO.
* Kinda outclassed by Diglett
* Gets some KOs though
* Bulk to switch in on attacks
* Low Speed sucks
* Ground-type is bad defensively

Moves
========
Earthquake is a strong STAB attack that hurts anything that doesn't resist. Rock Slide is used to hit Flying-types that are immune to Earthquake.
* EQ is STAB
* Slide is coverage
* Feint revenges (Sashbra, Sturdymag)
* Toxic threatens shit like Spritz and Bray (Bray can avoid with RestTalk set)
Set Details
========
* Live LO Pawn KOff, Analytic Mag Flash Cannon after SR
* 2HKO KOff'ed Spritzee
* Guaranteed OHKO of Gunk
* 19 Atk can 2HKO fast Pony even with burn
* BJ lets it switch in more
* Evio is bulkier but less longevity
Usage Tips
========
* Revenge killer
* Get it in safely!
* Trap Magnemite, Pawniard (you can't switch in on Pawniard, though)
* Countertrap Diglett
Team Options
========
* Doesn't like Waters/Grasses so have resists for those (e.g. Chinchou, Foongus)
* Slow Voltturners
* Paralysis
* Set up sweepers w/ checks like Magnemite, Diglett, etc. (e.g. Pawniard, Vullaby)
* Shellder in particular
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
* You can run more SpD if you want to trap Chinchou (156 HP / 36 Atk / 156 Def / 156 SpD) but you lose defense and ability to switch in on physical attackers
* Superpower for Scraggy
* Rock Tomb over Rock Slide is good but less damage
Checks and Counters
===================
**Waters**: force Trapinch out while taking little damage
**Grasses**: take little damage and force it out, Snivy sets up on you
**Gastly**: immune to Earthquake and hits hard with Shadow Ball
**Timburr**: uses Trapinch as set up bait
**Offensive Pokemon**: after Trapinch consumes its Berry Juice, many offensive Pokemon can force it out or KO it
