Nature: Adamant (Adds One (1) Rank to Attack; Subtracts One (1) Rank From Special Attack)

Type: Normal

The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Sand Rush: (Innate) This Pokemon thrives in Sandstorm conditions, feeling more at home in them than all other Pokemon. This Pokemon's Base Speed is doubled (x2) in a Sandstorm. Pokemon with this ability are immune to Sandstorm damage.

Time for another battle in the ASB Arena! Our trainers, TravelLog and danmantincan shake hands in the center of the ring before taking their positions and sending out their Pokemon! TravelLog releases his battlers, Shemhazi the Flarelm and Pengwin the Prinplup, to square off with danmantincan’s Tauroneo the Lillipup and Mia the Roselia! Oh, and what’s this? Tauroneo is wowing the crowd by evolving! Neat!

Mia jumps in right off with a (55.5% accurate) Sleep Powder that manages to sprinkle its way over to Shemhazi’s eyelids, causing it to fall into a deep sleep! Not a good way to start, Shemhazi! Well, I guess it’s catching on, because Tauroneo and Pengwin both Yawn at each other and get drowsy. What a boring bunch of actions! Come one, guys, now’s not the time to sleep! Quit wasting time and fight!

Oh I think they heard me. Tauroneo gives Mia a big Helping Hand as it wallops Pengwin with an Energy Ball for huge damage! Pengwin returns the blow with a chilling Ice Beam for super effective damage while Shemhazi slowly gets up from its nap, a bit bewildered!

Mia won’t let up on Pengwin, hitting it with a huge Giga Drain! Both Pengwin and the newly-awake Shemhazi motion to attack in retaliation, but are caught off guard by the Leering Tauroneo. The effect is haunting and lowers their stats a bit, but they eventually get it together, launching a back-to-back Flamethrower - Drill Peck one-two that sends Mia reeling backward!

But now, despite Shemhazi waking up, it seems like drowsiness will once again overtake our competitors. Both Tauroneo and Pengwin have tuckered themselves out and fall into a Deep Sleep! I guess for the time being, it’ll be Mia and Shemhazi doing most of the heavy lifting for our trainers!

Mia continues to attack Pengwin with Giga Drain as its partner sleeps. Shemhazi doesn't feel comfortable with one partner down, so it wakes up Pengwin with a soothing Aromatherapy treatment. Pengwin, up and at 'em, nails Mia with another Ice Beam!

Mia's on her own still and tries to ease her strife with a Stun Spore on Pengwin; however, (despite the nature boosts on both Mia and Pengwin for the attack's accuracy), the spores dissipate and fly off, missing their mark! Shemhazi uses this opening to call for intense Sunlight with a Sunny Day, while Pengwin snaps forward with a Drill Peck that stings Mia hard!

Mia's growing tired bearing the brunt of these attacks, so it engages the newly ferocious sun with its Synthesis powers, healing up some of its wounds! Toroneo finally wakes up with a bang, delivering a huge Wild Charge at Pengwin! Shemhazi and Pengwin are too focused on Mia though, hitting her with an enormous Flamethrower and Ice Beam, respectively! But Mia is still standing! What a trooper!

Things are really heating up now! Mia refuses to go down and hits Pengwin with yet another Giga Drain that is immediately followed up by Toroneo's Facade, Knocking the poor penguin Out cold! Shemhazi, infuriated by the loss of its teammate, creates a giant swell of flames and energy and shoots the spinning shot of intense heat like a Flamethrower at Mia, KOing it right back!

Now it's down to Toroneo and Shemhazi, duking it out for the victory! Toroneo lets out a loud Howl to pump itself up for the confrontation before slamming into Shemhazi with a Facade! Shemhazi returns by gaining some distance and hitting Toroneo with a boosted Flamethrower! The match is really close now! Either trainer could come out on top at this point, which I think is awesome.

The final stretch of the battle begins here as Toroneo and Shemhazi stand alone and locked in battle for revenge for their fallen comrades. Toroneo quickly Digs underground to ready an attack while Shemhazi simply sits back and chills out, awaiting Toroneo's return to the surface, which occurs only moments later and knocks Shemhazi back on its ass! Toroneo laughs at the sight and chills out itself while Shemhazi, from its seated position, proceeds to blast it with a huge Flamethrower! Oof, forgot he was doing something important, huh? Anyway, Toroneo snaps back into the fighting mindset and Digs underground yet again, only this time just before a Fire Spin comes flying over its head! Great timing! Toroneo comes up for another attack, doing good damage and knocking Shemhazi around again! Hah!

It's down to the wire now, as Toroneo makes quite apparent with a violent Facade attack! Shemhazi moves to keep Toroneo at bay by trapping it in a Fire Spin, but Toroneo muscles through it enough to land a Take Down on Shemhazi as it takes in some Synthesis energy and heals itself, despite the blow! It's now looking pretty one-sided in the battle for the first time today, emphasized by Toroneo's second Facade looking unimpressive compared to Shemhazi's Flamethrower that lands for huge damage as the intense sunlight finally wears off! Best of luck, danmantincan.
