Normal/Ghost: Resists the Ghost/Fighting Combo.
Ghost/Ground: Cannot be paralyzed.

Also posting to say that 50% of the type combos suggested already exist but people are too lazy to remember that we have them.
As RiptideFugitive said, Stun Spore.

I think a Fire/Grass with Limber would be more interesting... Immunity to Burn, Paralisis and Leech Seed :] Or maybe Immunity... Or maybe both traits.

Water/Steel with Levitate. Basically owns anything not using fighting/electric moves. I think it has 2 weakness, 2 normal, 8 2x resists, 2 4x resists and 2 immunities. This is what Suicune should have been. (and give it recover, too)
why are you trying to come up with something that has 8 resists and two immunities? maybe, just maybe, they limit pokemon that have 8 resists and two immunities to wall-esque characters because being able to "own anything not using fighting/electric moves" isn't the goal in designing new type combos.

I think a Dark/Dragon type would be one of the coolest types out there.

You know that that pokemon would look and be badass. :)

well, that's all we have left
it also shows how bad of a typing ice is....

Ghost/Steel (3 immune, 8 resist (1 double), 2 weak) seems like a pretty good defensive typing., same with Electric/Bug (4 resist, 2 weak).

I want to see something with 3 immunities + levitate, and then have it be a fragile as hell sweeper.

Ground/Ghost Sweeper
Levitate
40HP/130Atk/40 Def/130SAtk/40Sdef/110Spd

It could come in on its multitude of immunities, hit hard, but dies to things that can hit it.

Electric/Ice would be nice for STAB boltbeam.

Posion/Dragon With levitate could be a cool all around wall

Poison/Dragon wall
Levitate
100HP/73Atk/100Def/73Satk/100Sdef/74 speed (Same base stat total as flygon)

How about a demonic dragon?

Dark/Dragon physical sweeper
Flash Fire
66HP/132Atk/96Def/96SAtk/90Sdef/120Spd

And, the enemy of that Dragon, Dragon/Bug

Bug/Dragon Special Sweeper
No Guard
77Hp/85Atk/123Def/135Satk/120Sdef/60Spd.

Fire/Water or Fire/Ice would be interesting as pseudo-dragons with two heads.

get well soon jacoby..
For another site I actually came up with a cool new Pokemon, complete with a competitive analysis (although the names have something to be desired).

Movesets::

Set 1: Priority Sweeper
Jolly @ Leftovers
EVs: 114 HP / 252 Atk / 144 Spd
- Swords Dance
- Blitz
- Flametongue
- Dragon Claw

Fire/Electric is a decent combo, hitting every type at least neutral except for Dragon. That's why Dragon Claw is there, for coverage. The idea is, get a Swords Dance under your belt, then proceed to sweep (hopefully). Those EVs and nature are to outspeed max Speed Jolly Garchomp, who will otherwise screw you up with Earthquake. Beware of Scarfchomp.

Set 2: Choice Band
Jolly @ Choice Band
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Flare Blitz/Fire Punch
- Volt Tackle/Thunderpunch
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake/Focus Punch/Pursuit

An effective 523 attack running off 361 Speed? What's not to like, especially with two effective 180 BP moves? If the recoil on one or both of the moves is too much for you, you can always substitute one of the Punches for those moves. Dragon Claw is again for coverage, as it does a number on your Dragon enemies. The last move is a matter of preference. The former two moves allow nice coverage, while Pursuit lets you totally screw Starmie over.

^ Erh....care to explain how it having Water Absorb make sense in anyway? I kinda would expect something like to have a modified version of Static or Flame Body.

One Ice/Dragon poke with 600 base power like garchomp and with levitate would be cool, and i thought about it base stats:
95HP
80ATK
80DEF
135SATK
90SDEF
120speed

And a Ghost/stell with 600 base stats and a ability like solid rock
120HP
70ATK
120DEF
100SATK
120SDEF
70speed

i also think that this duo could break the tradition that every non-legendary 600 base stat has a high atack stat.

At least he didn't give it levitate just to remove the quad EQ weak. Anyways, this looks like what Shinx line should haev been.

By that logic, wouldn't its ability increase its power when hit by water instead, a bit like Flash Fire?
Like a Water equivalent to Flash Fire but without it being a water pokemon in WER's case.

Well, think of it this way: what happens when you try to put out an electrical fire with water?

It gets worse.
Yes but that wouldn't be considered truly absorbing it? It sounds more like it's "irritating" the fire thus making it more bigger and such.

Actually I kinda wanted it to be Electric/Dark since as it evolve it looks more evil and dark-like.
