On a side note, I'd prefer it if we got more people getting votes than just 2 people.

I’ll join this weeks core. I’ll be using Metagross, Hydreigon, and Sylveon.

The core revolves around Rock Polish Metagross and sweeping late game. Once its checks and counters are eliminate or soften its GG with Rock Polish. We all know the great synergy Hydreigon has with Metagross. It can get rid of pesky steel types that Metagross can’t get past. The standard LO Hydreigon is an excellent partner as it blows holes through your opponent’s team. Sylveon is an underrated mon with a Choice Specs. All you have to do is click Hyper Voice. Hyper Voice backed by Choice Specs eliminate Mega Sabelye, Mega Gyarados, and the plethora of Dragon types in the OU. You could use the Cleric set to heal off any annoying Burns or Poision, but for a more offensive threat Choice Specs is the way to go.

Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rock Polish
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch

Hydreigon (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 24 Atk / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Mild Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Superpower

Sylveon (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 82 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Baton Pass

Joining is here with Mega Sceptile, Magneton, and Azumarill

This core revolves around SD Mega Sceptile, which is a very underrated and very unexpected threat with a Grass-type STAB that is very unique for a Dragon-type sweeper. Despite its seemingly underwhelming attack stat, Outrage gives it just enough power to clean up late game and mere type coverage makes easy OHKOs anyways, not the mention that Mega Sceptile's incredible speed makes it a very consistently formidable offensive presence all throughout the battle. SD Mega Sceptile even has merits over Mega Charizard X, being capable of beating Defensive Hippowdon, AV Azumarill, Defensive Slowbro, and Defensive Rhyperior thanks to its STAB Leaf Blade. Choice Scarfed Magneton is preferred over Scarfed Magnezone because birds are definitely Mega Sceptile's biggest enemy and it provides a reliable bird check that is able to outspeed Jolly Talonflame unlike Magneton's older brother. Magneton also traps almost anything that Mega Sceptile(this set in particular) can't kill on its own, and Magneton also smacks the ever-threatening Fairy-types in the OU tier. Lastly, Assault Vest Azumarill adds a bit of bulk to this core, being a reliable switch into Dragon-, Fire-, and Fighting-type attacks for the rest of the core.

Sceptile-Mega @ Sceptilite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Leaf Blade
- Earthquake

Magneton @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Azumarill @ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off

Oh hey, a trapping core. Kyurem-B helps soften M-Diancie's checks, in particular bulky waters, so that M-Diancie can sweep, while M-Diancie acts as a soft check to T-Flame, along with bouncing back hazards that Kyurem-B hates. Magnezone completes the core by trapping steel types that the two have issues dealing with, as well as providing a slow Volt-Switch for either to pivot in.

Diancie @ Diancite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Psyshock

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt

Magnezone @ Choice Specs

Now b4 all u guys go all ham on me saying like "Hey I saw BlazeLatias post a Mega Charizard X, Azu, Ferro core on the Good cores"(Also Blaze Latias used AV Azu I'm using Band) well the ev spread is different and my movepool is more exact etc blah blah blah. Anyways I decided to build around Mega Charizard X aka NiggaZard :P. Now this monster wrecks souls but it can't do work unless it gets them ddances up. Since Mons like lando-t, hippo, and gliscor can just sit its ass in front of charizard x and wall the crap out of it I chose Azumarill to get them the hell out.I added choice band because of dis (252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon: 306-362 (72.8 - 86.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery. I ran 92 speed to speed creep clefable and speed creep bulky T-tar. I added Ferrothorn to eat up hits like eq, stone edges, rock slides, tbolts,. Ferrothorn also likes to t-wave mons like mega gardevoir and slow them down so that zard can hit them without having to risk ties. I need them rocks for stuff like thundy which can annoy this core and Ferrothorn can sit in front of Rotom-W and stall it out :P.

Bruh, isn't it more or less the same? You said the EVs were the only difference, right?

Edit: Sorry bro, but it wouldn't be fair to everyone else if people could just copy good cores and slightly alter them. It takes more time/effort to come up with new original ones, so as much as I wanna keep yours, I'd prefer it if you could make another one.

Just changing the EVs doesn't really change much, I mean it's still kinda of the same. The team synergy is not different at all nor is the support each pokemon provides. Honestly, in my opinion, it's the same.

DFS core with 2 mons gg. Anyways, Scizor and Altaria make for a pretty cool bulky offensive core, covering each others weaknesses perfectly and helping each other push through their counters. Altaria is able to weaken Steels by luring them into Fire Blast or Earthquake, while being able to rip into physically defensive mons with Hyper Voice, allowing Scizor to break through them later. In return, Scizor is able to trap specially defensive mons with Pursuit or help Altaria get in on U-Turns.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Pursuit

Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 168 SpA / 92 Spe
Modest Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Roost

p2

Banned deucer.

Pretty generic core based around Altaria with Magneton trying to trap and beat the Pokemon that can get in Alts way such as Scizor and Ferrothorn. The main reason Magneton > Magnezone is because it can outspeed faster threats such as Talonflame, Torn-T, and especially Weavile which really shits on this core. BulkyChomp is a safer counter to Scizor and handles faster physical attackers such as Talonflame w/ Flare Blitz and Jirachi, while providing rocks and being able to weaken Altaria's checks really quickly.

Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Frustration
- Earthquake
- Roost

Magneton @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Hidden Power [Fire]

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

In the OP I changed it to where 3 mons are now required even though 2 can theoretically work sometimes. Also, I found a good core with the same 2 mons, even though Mega Altaria's spread is different. http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/oras-good-cores-check-post-714.3524713/page-32#post-6136414

This is a pretty cool defensive core that covers each other's weaknesses quite nicely. Chomp deals with most physical attackers, but is still weak to Ice and Dragon types. Unaware Clef can deal with most of those and is also able to pass wishes to Chomp. However, both of them are still kinda weak to strong Fairy types like Mega Gardevoir, so SpDef Skarm is added to deal with those while also setting up Spikes and defogging hazards away. The core is still weak to Kyubs, so Magic Guard is an option over Unaware, although this leaves the core quite weak to Zard X.

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Toxic / Endure (if running Magic Guard Clef)

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Thunder Wave / Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Heal Bell / filler
- Moonblast
- Thunder Wave
- Soft-Boiled

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 248 SpD / 8 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Spikes / Counter
- Defog
- Roost

I saw this core in good cores link.

Hi guys this is the core that i want show to u M-Scizor + Kyurem-B + Clefable.

This core is based on the sweep of Clefable in fact Kyurem-B kill SpD Skarm(that could cause problems to the fairy) and is Ebelt for fake the scarf and baitkill Ferrothorn and Scizor with HP Fire in plus people can think u are locked on a move such as Ice Beam and can kill also Heatran with Earth Power and could allow also to Scizor a possible sweep, this monster it also has the luck to check Manaphy (which it is currently very difficult to stop) that's why Kyurem-B play good with Clefable and Scizor and vice versa.

Sets:

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature

Kyurem-Black @ Expert Belt
Ability: Teravolt

Garchomp + Scizor + Clefable

+
+

Garchomp @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Fang / Dragon Claw

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave / Flamethrower

Life Orb + Swords Dance Garchomp breaks past bulky defensive Pokemon such as Hippowdon, Skarmory, Slowbro and Landorus-T which are troublesome for Mega Scizor. It also helps to check Fire-types and break opposing Steel-types. Outrage is preferred over Dragon Claw because it can OHKO Hippowdon, Slowbro and Gliscor after a Swords Dance, which Dragon Claw cannot. In return, Mega Scizor easily switches into Lati@s, Weavile and Fairy-types who can revenge kill a boosted Garchomp.

Clefable is the 3rd Pokemon in this core to check Electrics such as Mega Manectric and Thundurus. It can also provide Thunder Wave support to slow down dangerous opposing sweepers such as Mega Charizard-X. Clefable is also a good check to Keldeo and Mega Sableye which gives the duo headaches.
