[OVERVIEW]

Unfezant is a very mediocre Pokemon because it is outclassed by Dodrio, and, to an extent, Fearow, due to its lower Speed and lack of an effective Flying-type STAB move. Unfezant, however, has a niche over Dodrio with access to U-turn and a slightly higher Attack stat that, while not enough to warrant a purely offensive set, makes it a decent Tailwind setter with Hypnosis. Unfezant's access to Super Luck is also noteworthy, causing common and powerful critical hits.

[SET]
name: Tailwind Support
move 1: Tailwind
move 2: Hypnosis / Taunt
move 3: U-turn
move 4: Return
item: Focus Sash / Scope Lens
ability: Super Luck
nature: Adamant / Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Tailwind doubles Unfezant's and its teammates' Speed for a few turns, which can help your team outpace opposing Pokemon and assist your sweepers. Hypnosis is a very risky move, but if it hits, Unfezant is rewarded by putting the foe to sleep. Taunt can be used over Hypnosis to prevent a slower foe from using a status or setup move, or setting up an entry hazard. U-turn creates momentum by allowing Unfezant to switch out to a teammate. Return gains a STAB boost from Unfezant and can deal a lot of damage to a foe that doesn't resist it, making it Unfezant's main attacking move.

Set Details
========

Maximum Attack and Speed with an Adamant nature allows Unfezant to be as fast and powerful as it can be. If Unfezant is running a Jolly nature, it can outpace Articuno and Mr. Mime as well as Taunt users such as Monferno and Misdreavus, although it loses out on power by doing so. Focus Sash can be essential to guarantee Unfezant will set up Tailwind if it is at full health. Scope Lens works together with Super Luck, increasing the chances of Unfezant getting a critical hit to 50%.

Usage Tips
========

Unfezant's main priority is setting up Tailwind, so that should be done first unless Unfezant still has its Focus Sash still intact, enabling Unfezant to be a lead for immediate Speed support. After using Hypnosis, U-turn is a good option, as most opponents will choose to switch out if the Pokemon they have in is asleep. U-turn is also a good option if the foe or resists or is immune to Return, or after setting up Tailwind. Return should be used to get the most damage off on a foe that doesn't resist it.

Team Options
========

Volt Switch or U-turn users, such as Raichu, Zebstrika, Ninjask, and Jumpluff can form a Voltturn core with Unfezant. Offensive Pokemon that would do better with a Speed boost, such as Simipour, Stoutland, and Mightyena appreciate Unfezant's Tailwind support. Setup sweepers such as Arbok, Clefairy, Pawniard, and Ninetales appreciate Unfezant putting foes to sleep. Dark-types such as Mightyena and Pawniard can take on Ghost-types for Unfezant. Fighting-types such as Poliwrath and Machoke can take on Steel- and Rock-type Pokemon for Unfezant with their STAB moves. Ground-types such as Piloswine, Golem, and Torterra can take on Rock-, Electric-, and Steel-types for Unfezant.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Wide Lens can be used over Scope Lens to increase the accuracy of Hypnosis. Unfezant can use an offensive Choice Band or Choice Scarf set, although it's almost completely outclassed by Dodrio. Unfezant can utilize Roost for reliable recovery, but it takes up an important moveslot. Unfezant can use the weak Aerial Ace as a STAB move; however, it doesn't do anywhere near the amount of damage Return does, except Ghost-types and Pokemon hit for super effective damage. Sky Attack is Unfezant's strongest Flying-type STAB move and a viable option with a Power Herb, although it can only be reliably used once. Unfezant can also take the role of a weather setter, utilizing Rain Dance or Sunny Day, then switching out to a rain sweeper via U-turn, although the job is done better by Volbeat, which has Prankster.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rock-types**: Rock-types such as Golem, Probopass, and Carracosta take low amounts of damage from any move Unfezant wants to throw at them, and can fire back with a Rock-type STAB move. All of them can set Stealth Rock, while Carracosta can set up using Shell Smash.

**Ghost-types**: Gourgeist-XL, Misdreavus, Dusknoir, and other Ghost-types are immune to Return and have the ability to burn or get damage off on Unfezant, which can't damage them back. Misdreavus with max Speed can also outpace and Taunt Unfezant if Unfezant is running an Adamant nature.

**Electric-types**: Electric-types such as Zebstrika, Raichu, and Rotom-F can outpace Unfezant before it uses Tailwind and deal massive damage to it, although they are unable to switch into it, because Return KOes them. Electabuzz has the ability to switch into a Hypnosis, as it is immune to sleep-inducing moves thanks to Vital Spirit.

**Steel-types**: Klang, Probopass, and other Steel-types can take any hit from Unfezant and set up, Klang using Shift Gear, and Probopass setting Stealth Rock.

another small niche is higher attack than dodrio(slightly) and fearow
mention why a tailwind set isn't that impactful on the meta atm

Moves
========
mention return is its main attacking tool

Set Details
========
mention pokemon you outspeed with a jolly nature
i'd mention jolly too, as this set is mainly focused on bringing utility to the team, jolly allows unfezant to outspeed taunt users such as monferno and misdreavus

Usage Tips
========
mention u-turn should be used after setting up tailwind to switch out to a better matchup without wasting turns
u-turn is also decent to use when the opponent carries pokemon such as probo that are straight up counters to unfezant

Team Options
========
mention Pokemon such as set up sweepers that appreciate having foes put to sleep
mention Pokemon that appreciate gain of momentum or being brought in safely by u-turn

Checks and Counters
===================
mention carracosta can use unfezant as setup fodder
mention that max speed missy can also taunt unfezant if running adamant
mention klang can use unfezant as setup fodder
mention why electric-types are unable to switch into unfezant

In Set Details, Unfezant doesn't outspeed Leafeon and Sawsbuck as they run Jolly nature themselves when not on a Sun team, so remove those mentions. In Usage Tips, when you talk about Tailwind being Unfezant's main priority, mention it can be used as a lead to provide immediate speed control and then U-turn out to a teammate if the matchup isn't in its favor. Remove the Wish mention from Other Options, Unfezant is a terrible Wish passer.
2/3.

slash focus sash before scope lens because it is super useful to guarantee tailwind against something faster and a hit + tailwind against something slower
mention that scope lenses gives 50% crit chance. Taunt should go in moves or even get a slash with hypnosis since it is a good move and also does well with sash
aerial ace in oo as well as rain dance/sunny day
mention that fly is the best stab this has i guess

vigoroth should be removed from c&c since it is outsped and hit by hypnosis and dislikes crit return anyway
electric types should be before steel types

some things you might want to take a look at:
a) "Wide Lens can be used over Scope Lens to increase the accuracy of Hypnosis, although Unfezant would lose out on passive recovery." scope lens has nothing to do with recovery so i removed the second part of the sentence, but you might have meant something else so take a look at it
b) "Klang using Gear Grind" i changed gear grind to shift gear, as gear grind isn't a setup move, though i might have misintepreted what you meant, in which case the sentence should be rephrased
