The Pokemon absorbs the damage of water attacks and recovers 25% of HP the damage that would have been inflicted.
Illuminate (DW): (Toggle) This Pokemon emits a continuous light that brightens the environment and makes it easier for all Pokemon to see. While this ability is active, any darkened or twilight state in the battle is negated and all moves used by any Pokemon (friend or foe, or itself) have their accuracy increased by 10% (flat). Boosts from multiple Illuminates do not stack.

Abilities:
Limber: (Passive) This Pokemon’s body is well trained and immune to paralysis.
Unburden: (Passive) This Pokemon is incredibly possessive. If it uses or loses an item in battle its rage swells and its Speed doubles (x2) until it receives another item. This ability only activates on the first use of a consumable item - subsequent uses of the same item do not activate Unburden, even if the Pokemon switches out between uses.

Type:
: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.
Abilities:
Technician: (Passive) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their one-hit or two-hit attacks that normally have 6 or less Base Attack Power to have their Base Attack Power on each hit multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, Double Hit to from 4 per hit to 6 per hit etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) Base Attack Power, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2). Because Technician is a multiplier on single hit moves, its effect is applied to Base Attack Power before any additive effects. Technician only applies to combos in the rare case that an initial hit will have 6 or less BAP.
Cute Charm: (Passive) This Pokemon’s natural cuteness causes Pokemon of the opposite gender to be attracted to it 30% of the time after striking with a contact move.
Skill Link: (DW, Passive) This Pokemon’s skillful aim makes its multi-hit moves always hit 5 times. The Energy Cost of multi-hit attacks is increased by three (3).

Slaking [Yojimbo] (M)
Nature: Modest (Special Attack increased by *, Attack decreased by *)
OT: Maxim
Type:
: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.
Abilities:
Truant: (Trait) This Pokemon is naturally lazy, and becomes Sluggish after every normal action. This effect takes place after completing any normal (e.g. non-Sluggish) action. If this Pokemon uses a move that would inflict Sluggish, it instead becomes Exhausted for the next action. When Exhausted, its Confusion stage will not be checked and it will not hit itself in confusion during the second action. It recovers 3% energy when Exhausted. If this Pokemon uses a Combination, it becomes Sluggish or Exhausted on the action following the cooldown of the combination. Truant can be altered or shifted by Skill Swap, Role Play, Gastro Acid, or Mummy, but is not changed by Entrainment, Simple Beam, or Worry Seed.

Simon.... Existed. That much he could make out. He was definitely breathing, and pumping blood, and all those subtle human things that you really don't notice for all the other, louder things. Apart from that... He was deeply confused. Because apart from himself, there was a literal void. Not obscuring darkness, but an emptiness. It wasn't like shutting your eyes or turning off a light; it was like trying to see out of your elbow. It hurt his brain to try and think about the concept. It almost terrified him that he had entered another's mind where this was possible. He also made a point of not thinking about what he was (or wasn't) standing on, lest wondering would lead to him falling... Down?? Maybe??

A Syclant appeared in a burst of light. His clicks and jitters echoing within the (???). He was just as uncomfortable as his trainer, but positioned himself in what was probably the right way up to allow a view of the surroundings, for just a something for him to focus on. He conjured a quick Earth Power off in the distance, just to test move usability. Although the height was a little off, there was a distinct moment when the void became solid to throw off the small eruptions of earth.

"It's okay, Viceroy. This blank canvas will fill itself soon enough... Hopefully."

*Yawn* I feel like I've slept through an entire battle...
Lilium, you evolved! Where's Estark and why are Yojimbo, Merle, and Stocke here? Where is here anyway, I was supposed to be in the ASB Arena, not this endless void again... At least SimonSays is here too, wait is that a Syclant? I was expecting an NFE Match... Yojimbo, you're best equipped to handle a Syclant.

Slaking (Yojimbo) w/ Exp Share
Fire Blast ~ Aerial Ace ~ Fire Blast
If Superpower is used Action 1 or 3, replace that move with Counter.

A second burst of light, and the void became less void-y and more battle-y. Simon smiled fondly towards the released Slaking. This one seemed less headstrong, however. More ... Modest. Simon gasped at the horror before him, a single tear falling from his cheek.

Viceroy whet his claws against each other in a display of intimidation. Mijimbo hiccoughing flame startled the Syclant, visibly paling in anticipation of the pain.

"It's so.... Wrong. Like some wound in the world that never healed. Like a misused, discarded, abused little Slakoth, put out because they didn't understand you."

The round starts off with Syclant hurling a burst of energy towards the Slaking, with extra hurt piled on from being super-effective. Slaking uses his Fire Blast and puts some real hurt on the Syclant. Slaking then hits Syclant with an Aerial Ace, being careful not to step on the Spikes Syclant scattered at his feet. Syclant then attempts to U-turn out of there back into his Pokeball, but not before he is hit with another burst of flame.

You then find yourselves in an underground area, a mine that has long since been abandoned. The stone is a yellowish color, with wooden supports. Some supports have caught on fire from the lava pouring from various openings in the ceiling. You hear the moans of undead and the shrieks of spiders, without knowing where they are.

((CompoundEyes boosts Focus Blast's acc. to .70*1.3= .91. Also, are we still in your blank slate??))

Viceroy's screams of pain still ringing clear in his ears, Simon held up the Pokeball to receive the retreating Syclant. He rubbed his eyes pre-emptively, taking a deep breath as he reached for another Ball. For all his mocking... It was still a powerful Slaking. And underestimating a powerful Pokemon, indeed any Pokemon... His Syclant burned for Simon's mistake.

The void burst with colour, Simon ducking into himself to shield himself from the sensory overload; sweltering heat, rock surroundings and the jitterings of the other signs of life within the... Wherever you now were. You did not exactly miss the Void; it left too much room for your own thoughts and sounds. But the dripping magma still made him flinch for the beating.

Simon pulled forth another Pokeball; this one decorated with greens and blacks and purples, marks of a Dusk Ball. It opened silently, the orbs of darkness bursting in every whichway as a Revenankh appeared, cracking it's knuckles and booming out a distinctive "Come here, child". Just this once, Simon allowed the clear threat of eating their opponent pass.

"I was a fool.... And I nearly got you killed, old frail friend. Pharaoh, take the stand! We will not allow the abuse of our friends to go unchecked!"

Revenankh (Pharaoh) @ Nothing

Low Sweep ~ Substitute (20 HP) ~ Superpower
