Volcarona

Mega Venusaur

Granted idk how Mega Pinsir is under checks when Rock coverage on Tangrowth is pretty rare and implies you somehow catch it on a switch in even if it did have it. Then have to somehow not be obliterated by aerialate coverage afterwards. Those are my two votes and two cents.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off

Due to its phenomenal bulk and defensive typing, Mega Scizor can take up to a +2 Draco Meteor with relative ease, although if played right, Latios should never get a chance to get there. Having access to Roost, it is able to heal off any damage it may have taken. From there, it is free to set up Swords Dances with little fear, possibly being able to sweep the opposing team. There's always the option OHKO Latios back at any time with Knock Off after Life Orb damage as well.
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 176 SpD Mega Scizor: 117-138 (34.1 - 40.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 0+ Def Mega Scizor: 58-69 (16.9 - 20.1%) -- possible 5HKO

+2 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 176 SpD Mega Scizor: 233-274 (67.9 - 79.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

------

84 Atk Mega Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Latios: 254-300 (84.9 - 100.3%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Heal Bell

COUNTER

Unaware Clefable can wall Latios easily thanks to Unaware ignoring CM boosts. It can also set up on Latios as well nicely as well, as Psyshock is only a 3HKO.

252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Clefable: 149-177 (37.9 - 45%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Latios: 182-216 (60.8 - 72.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Tyranitar
@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Crunch

Tyranitar has always been one of Latios' arch enemies, and for good reason. With a Choice Scarf, Tyranitar is faster and able to switch in on anything Latios can do. From there, it can proceed to KO the eon twin with Crunch or use Pursuit to trap and completely remove Latios from a match. The removal of Latios can pave the way for common partners like Specs Keldeo or Charizard-Y to go wild, and there are few Pokemon able to perform this trapping role as effectively and reliably. I'd classify this as a counter because Tyranitar can switch in and always win with Crunch. Be careful though because assuming SR is up, Latios can potentially stay in on a predicted Pursuit and have a small chance to KO Tyranitar with either a +1 Draco Meteor or two consecutive Draco Meteor's on the switch in. Some calcs below:
Draco Meteor vs Tyranitar: 54.2 - 63.9%
-1 Draco Meteor vs Tyranitar: 35.7 - 42.8%
+1 Draco Meteor vs Tyranitar: 80.3 - 95.3% - 50% chance to KO after SR

Pursuit vs Latios: 54.1 - 64.2%

Crunch vs Latios: 107 - 127%

Bisharp @ Assault Vest
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 192 HP / 220 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit

Everyone's favorite chess piece is back, doing what it does best in harassing the Latis. Standard sets don't take Draco too kindly, and while Bisharp can outspeed or catch Latios on the switch, Sucker's low PP can make the scenario an unfortunate guessing game. With an Assault Vest equipped, Bisharp can take a Draco better and reliably come in on Latios more than once. A +1 Draco does little in the event that Bisharp forgoes Sucker and chooses the all-around safer Knock Off. +2 Draco fails to OHKO Bisharp after Rocks. AV Bisharp also has a small chance to avoid the 2HKO on Hidden Power Fire and Earthquake, if Latios so chooses to run them. This, of course, is if Latios isn't Sucker Punched to oblivion.

252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 192 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Bisharp: 123-146 (38.5 - 45.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 192 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Bisharp: 185-218 (57.9 - 68.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

+2 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 192 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Bisharp: 246-290 (77.1 - 90.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Life Orb Latios Hidden Power Fire vs. 192 HP / 0 SpD Assault Vest Bisharp: 153-182 (47.9 - 57%) -- 89.8% chance to 2HKO

0- Atk Life Orb Latios Earthquake vs. 192 HP / 0 Def Bisharp: 156-185 (48.9 - 57.9%) -- 95.7% chance to 2HKO

Knock Off and Sucker Punch are a OHKO

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Power Whip (or whatever utility move not named Thunder Wave you want to use)

Role: Counter

Ferrothorn, being a Steel type, resists both Draco Meteor and Psyshock and is able to 2HKO Latios with STAB Gyro Ball, while Draco Meteor wouldn't be able to 3HKO unboosted even if it didn't lower Special Attack. And because it does, Ferrothorn has a much easier time switching in.

0 Atk Ferrothorn Gyro Ball (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Latios: 184-217 (61.1 - 72%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 105-125 (29.8 - 35.5%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Klefki @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Magnet Rise
- Play Rough

Klefki is immune to Draco Meteor and resistant to Psyshock, allowing it to switch in, paralyze Latios, then 2HKO it with Play Rough.

It has trouble switching in if Latios is at +3, and has to rely on parahax to survive if it acquires any more boosts, but this scenario is incredibly rare.

Offensive:
0 Atk Klefki Play Rough vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Latios: 194-230 (64.8 - 76.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Defensive:
252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 66-78 (20.7 - 24.5%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 97-116 (30.5 - 36.4%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 130-153 (40.8 - 48.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+3 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 162-191 (50.9 - 60%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+4 252 SpA Life Orb Latios Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Klefki: 195-230 (61.3 - 72.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Metagross @ Assault Vest
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Atk / 96 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake / Zen Headbutt

AV Metagross resists Latios's dual STABs and can 2HKO back with Meteor Mash + Bullet Punch. It can also checkmate Latios with Pursuit, eliminating it, taking into account Stealth Rock and Life Orb recoil.

252 SpA Life Orb Latios Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 96 SpD Assault Vest Metagross: 90-107 (24.7 - 29.3%) -- possibly the worst move ever

Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball / Shadow Claw
- Toxic
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Doublade's great defensive typing and decent special bulk allows it to function as a pretty solid Latios counter. Gyro Ball or Shadow Claw + Toxic enable Doublade to maintain offensive pressure on Latios so that it cannot setup on Doublade easily and RestTalk serves as passable recovery.

4 Atk Doublade Gyro Ball (130 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Latios: 184-217 (61.1 - 72%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
4 Atk Doublade Shadow Claw vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Latios: 200-236 (66.4 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
