Moves

- Solar Beam inside sun is Victreebel's best Grass-STAB
- Weather Ball turns into a base 100 Fire-type move inside sun allowing it to hit targets like Steelix and Ferroseed, but also hits Ice and Bug-types for super effective damage as well.
- Sludge Bomb is for a secondary STAB that hits primarily Grass-types like Lilligant and Ludicolo
- Sleep Powder can create free turns for your team to switch out or allow you to make getting the KO on a Pokemon much easier.
- Growth boost Victreebel's offensive stat twice while in sun giving it monstrous power.
- Giga Drain allows Victrebell to recover some HP back while still fending off Water-types
- It can attempt to set-up Sun all on its own but its lackluster bulk and limited five turns to abuse is very concerning

- Max special attack with a Modest nature gives Victreebel a much easier time sweeping.
- Max speed makes it hard to outspeed while inside sun.
- Chlorophyll is what makes it so threatening, by doubling its speed within Sun
- Life Orb is the easiest ability to abuse

- Sun setters like Liepard, Volbeat and Regirock help to set-up Sunny Day in order to help Victreebel sweep. The two former can use U-turn to help get Victreebel in safer.
- Other Sun abusers such as Shiftry, Exeggutor and Sawsbuck often pair well on Sun based teams as they can help to break holes in the team making it easier for Victreebel to clean up.
- Victreebel rather dislikes
