Atlas (M)

Gamma decides that the best way to restore lost vitality and complete the challenge is to steal it from Atlas with Pain Split. As Gamma shares some of its pain with Atlas, the Torterra uses Synthesis to restore some health. Now that they've both completed Dr. Crygor's challenge, the two pokemon return to all-out offence, with Gamma using Hydro Pump and casting another Hex on Atlas, while Atlas pummels it with Wood Hammer after Wood Hammer. And it's a close one but the Rotom is the pokemon that comes off second-best.

Once iiMKUltra sends out a replacement, the next challenge will be given.

"Let's see some smooth moves from these pokemon. Use a combo of two moves of different types."

Lord Jesseus orders first, and in case you don't understand what iiMK is saying, he's sending out Metagross.

Ok, so we have +19% accuracy and he has -10% evasion. I think its worth risking Hypnosis. Then try comboing Will-o-Wisp + Shadow Ball.

Use Agility to dodge the Hypnosis, then Zen Headbutt followed by Psyshock.

Majora (U)
HP: 100 | EN: 100 | Spe: 60 (-)

Abilities: Clear Body, Light Metal
Other: None

Iota the Gengar faces Majora the Metagross now and Jimmy T. holds high hopes for them. Iota tries to use Hypnosis to subdue it, but its Agility allows it to dodge the move completely. But it looks like Iota is preparing a combo attack now. While it charges up, Majora charges in with a Zen Headbutt that disrupts the Gengar's concentration. As such, Iota is unable to act, and because she wasn't expecting her attack to fail, she doesn't have a backup plan. Majora, meanwhile, strikes with a Psyshock.

The end result is a lot of booing from the crowd, since neither pokemon successfully performed a combo using two moves of different types. Did Jimmy T. throw in an explosive disco ball? Whatever it was, both pokemon are paying the price for not completing the challenge.

iiMKUltra orders first.

This round, Iota kicks things off by sending a Will-O-Wisp straight at Majora. Majora decides that the best thing to do is increase its Agility, but it's still slightly slower than the Gengar. Said Gengar then taps into Majora's mind and Disables one of its attacks! But then she is intimidated by the Metagross' Scary Face and slows right down. This combined with its speed boost allow Majora to set up a Light Screen to protect itself from Iota's attacks, just before she briefly puts him to sleep with Hypnosis. Interesting to see how these pokemon have fared without using any damaging attacks.

And now Orbulon with his challenge.

"Hmm ... how would these creatures perform if they used their lesser offensive strategies? Do not use any attacks that use your higher attacking stat. Non-damaging attacks are still allowed."

Lord Jesseus, whenever you're ready.

Shadow Punch~Confuse Ray~Hypnosis
If he dodges with Agility in actions 2 or 3, Chill.

Also just wondering, if he hurts himself in confusion will that coutn as an attack from his higher stat?

While Majora is asleep, Iota strikes it with a Shadow Punch that wakes it up and riles it up. Majora then tries to pull off a powerful combo that might just knock Iota out ... but the Metagross has forgotten how to use a key part of the combo! It ends up doing nothing as the Gengar shines a Confuse Ray upon it. Majora then takes a breather and cools down despite not pulling off any kind of powerful move earlier, but that's not all. Iota sends it to sleep once more with another Hypnosis. Could this be a chance for Team Lord Jesseus to come back?

Iota, sensing that her time is running out, goes on the offensive by casting a Hex on Majora. She scores a critical hit on the Metagross, but all that pain has woken Majora up and snapped it out of confusion. It hasn't done anything to improve Majora's aim though, as its next attack misses Iota completely! The Gengar continues the Hexing as Majora retaliates with Psyshock. Finally, Iota casts one last Hex before being knocked out by Majora's Psychic attack. But the Metagross looks like it's on its last legs.
