zarator my calculations have Regigigas' HP at 1132 (1198-33-33 = 1132) and Conkeldurr's Sanity at 48 (69-20-5+4=48) can you please confirm? Orders aren't far away either way
The team swiftly cuts down Regigigas's tentacles before they can cause any havoc, while the Conkeldurr keeps the old god itself engaged. Then, as the team finally pulls out all its offensive power against it, Regigigas freezes in place and opens its chest, then it launches a beam of psychic force towards the entire team! A laugh echoes in your heads as the beam crosses through the room...
However, after you recover from the shock, you notice Regigigas has left its core exposed! Looks like the time to strike is now! (incidentally, you can also see the Paragon of Gygax wielded by your Pokemon tingling mysteriously...)

Puncha suffers tremendously under Regigigas's blows, and even the Blissey's heals cannot restore his fading sanity. But with both Paragon swords dipped into the old god's core, the team is free to unleash everything it got left in a last ditch assault. Regigigas pays back with its deathly grip, however, and more tentacles spawn amidst the chaos.

With Woosh's help, the Blissey takes the initiative and wipes out Regigigas's tentacles, allowing her allies to keep up the final assault on the old god. The latter opens up its chest once more, ready to wipe out what's left of the team with another psychic beam. However, the Medicham delivers a swift, powerful kick which finally bows down the massive foe, causing it to crumble down once and for all! You only hear one last whisper in your head...

As the whispering voice fades in your heads, the old god's six eyes stop glowing and turn grey like lifeless stones, while the entire body petrifies and turns motionless, like a statue. You wonder if this means you actually vanquished the old god...
The Reforging of Gygax
... until the Yamask you talked with before emerges from a nearby wall. However, unlike before, you notice it no longer has a mask attached to its body, and its forme is slowly fading away.
"Thank you, champions", he says in a whisper, but you can feel a sense of serenity in his voice. "Now the blade of legend is in your hands. The old god's nightmare is finally over".
"No, it is not over yet", you reply. "We must stop Mewtwo before it breaks the Sigil Orb, or everything will be lost".
"Fear not, champions", says the shadow with what could be a feeble smile. "There is always hope, even in the deepest darkness. The same hope you restored for me, I now bestow upon you".
Much to your amazement, evanescent shadows coalesce beneath your feet, allowing you to levitate towards the ceiling.
"May hope always be beside you, heroes", says the Yamask, before fading away. "For humanity, and for Harmonia's dinasty!".

After you levitate past the glass ceiling broken by Mewtwo before the fight, you fly through a narrow tunnel that heads up for longer than you can tell, until you reach a large, circular vault. Glass windows light it up from all sides - and unlike the room where you fought against Regigigas, these windows are still intact. Before you, an altar lies, and upon it, the Sigil Orb floats silently, basked in a mysterious blue aura that flows from Mewtwo's hands. The Genetic Pokemon moves his attention on you just for an instant, before bringing it back on the Orb in front of him.
"An impressive display to have come this far, humans", he says, defiantly. "But you are too late. Nevertheless, for the bravery that allowed you to vanquish the old god you shall be rewarded - your eyes will have the honor of beholding the dawn of MY NEW WORLD!".
Then, out of nowhere, Mewtwo sends a bolt of psychic energy that shatters the Sigil Orb.
A red glow starts swelling the air all around it and growing in size, before emitting a large beam that tears the mountain's summit apart. You watch in fear as the beam flies towards the sky, turning the clouds above in a crimson shroud that slowly expands all over the island until the eye can see. A crimson thunderbolt crackles through the blood sky.
"The Great Renewal begins now", says Mewtwo. "All around the world, the dragons are awakening from their slumber. Rayquaza will soar skies once again, Dialga and Palkia will reforge the very fabric of universe, Giratina will extend his power over the Netherworld, Zekrom and Reshiram will call once more the fury of the elements to raze your pitiful nations.
Hundreds, thousands of Pokemon will rise to their call like they did ages ago. The slaves will turn against their masters. And the trainers all around the world will have no other choice but to bow before the TRUE masters of this world. This is a war you cannot win. This is a yoke you cannot overthrow. The age of humanity is over, and you will be the first to witness my new order!"
However, right before Mewtwo can turn against you, a figure dives from above, landing between you and the Genetic Pokemon.
"You have no idea of what you have done, Mewtwo", says Lorien, standing up to his interlocutor without showing any sign of fear. "I hoped we could have reached a peaceful resolution long ago, but I see this is not an option anymore. You leave me no choice but to stop you here, and now". As you try to ready your Poke Balls to help him, however, Lorien adds, "Stand aside, humans. This is not a Pokemon battle".
The Genetic Pokemon laughs. "Do you really think you stand a chance, against me? I spared you once, but I won't commit the same mistake twice". An orb of crackling darkness appears in Mewtwo's hand, as he throws it towards Lorien at blinding speed. The subsequent explosion knocks you down, and produces a large cloud of dust. You fear the worst for Lorien, but suddenly a winged shape breaks through the dust and flies up in the sky!
The dragon stops in the air, then dives towards Mewtwo, dodging another globe of darkness and firing off a beam of blue and red energy against his foe. Mewtwo is knocked back by the blast, but in mere moments he manages to shrugs off its effects with ease.
"Pathetic", he comments, nearly disgusted. "The time you spent with humans must have turned you weak, Latios. Let me remind you what TRUE power is!".
All around the dragon, little purple orbs of energy spawn. Then, before Latios can move, Mewtwo uses his psychic force to strike him from all directions. The Eon Pokemon wails in agony, falling to the ground under your frightened eyes.
"And now, Latios", whispers Mewtwo, as he conjures a barrage of starshaped beams. "See by yourself what's the place of humans and their allies in my new world".
Your cry fades as Mewtwo fires off the finishing blow, but at the last moment, a barrier stops the beams before they could hit Latios! Mewtwo's surprise lasts only for a few instants, then the Genetic Pokemon turns his gaze above, his example followed by yours shortly after.
Floating in the air, Linna is watching the battlefield with a much colder look in her amber eyes than you could remember.
"You won't show mercy?", she asks, a vibe of anger echoing through her words. "Then you will have NONE". A vibrant blue aura envelops her, as she morphs into a new forme!

"You want WAR? You and the Ebdomadarium will get more than you bargained for, traitor!". While shouting the last few words, a rain of blue meteors fall towards Mewtwo. The Genetic Pokemon shields himself before it's too late, but it is clear he did not come unscathed from that terrifying attack.
(Soundtrack) "War, you say?", Mewtwo asks as Latias flies next to her sibling. "Very well, you shall have your war. The dragons will rise from the ashes, to wipe out your insignificant lesser race. Their armies will march on your cities. The very Pokemon you cherish will turn against their trainers. If slaves you wish not to be, then you have chosen the path of your undoing".
The Genetic Pokemon start flying up, outside the reach of you and the two dragons. "Head west, towards the Sinnoh region. There, you will see by yourself what you waged war against. Mark my words, humans - YOU ARE NOT PREPARED!".
Then, as Mewtwo flies off towards the horizon, Latias looks at you and says, "... We must leave at once. There is much to be done. For after ten thousand years... the war between humans and Pokemon began once more".
Many thoughts crowd your minds, as the two Eon Pokemon ride you away from the shrine. And countless questions that still need an answer.
