Beyond the crumbled wall, you can see a circular room. Could it be a dead end? You enter, cautiously, but nothing seems to happen. Then you notice there seems to be a small door above you... near the ceiling, over fifty meters above your heads. You wonder if any of your Pokemon could allow you to reach it, when a blue glowing rune suddenly appears beneath you, and your feet start feeling lighter. Over the span of a heartbeat, you start floating up, towards the door. Meanwhile, cryptic whispers keep echoing in your heads, as if someone where speaking to you from an unidentified place... or maybe he or she is close?
Soundtrack
The door opens into what looks like a vast sanctum. Majestic windows of coloured glass cover all the walls. Even if the glass is broken and shattered, the windows still glow as if the sun was shining right behind them. As if light could reach these depths. The brightness allows you to gaze upon the gargantuan statue, at the center of the room. It is so tall that the head almost comes in contact with the glass ceiling above, and the grass growing on it makes it look ancient beyond belief.
"I am surprised you came this far"
This voice sounds more familiar than the whispers you heard until now. You look around for a while until you raise your heads, only to meet Mewtwo's cold gaze. A black, lucid orb floats around him, as if Mewtwo were holding it only through his sheer willpower.
"That is..."
"Yes", replies Mewtwo, reading into your thoughts before you could complete. "The Sigil Orb is mine now. All I need to do now is to complete the ritual and shatter it in pieces. Then, the Great Renewal will begin, and the future I sought shall be fulfilled".
This time you do not let fear paralyze you, and you draw your Poke Balls in defense. "We will not allow you to do so, Mewtwo! Too much is at stake".
"The latter part, I agree with", concurs Mewtwo. "But... to stop me? You are but mere humans... and there is nothing you can do to stop the forces I set in motion... to stop an old god!".
