The team needs to wait for the frozen allies to thaw out, giving Kyogre some time to regenerate itself, but eventually Tacos fires off his held spine and breaks the whale's shield. This causes Kyogre to retaliate once more, leaving the whole team drained and tired out, but this doesn't prevent the squad members from paying back at full force.

Still, it seems too close for comfort, as Kyogre immobilizes the Aromatisse upon a spine of solid ice, and bestows a curse on Thunderstorm.
