Team: Winsauce Wins! v. 4.7.13.28
So when I first decided to learn the LC meta I was consistently losing to Zig due to my inexperience. After a week or two I learned how to reliably stop it, yet it was the ONLY threat that my entire game revolved around. I knew there had to be a way to make what was so scary for me, almost always do it's due diligence, no matter what countermeasures you take. Thus my mission to make a team ft. Zig, that reliably executes Ziggy getting it's belly drummed on. Enter Winsauce Wins...

The star of the show...As her name suggests she is just win, for real, like seriously. Sadly enough we've all had the misfortune of losing to a Belly Drum Zig before. This was usually my wincon! With Memento, Encore and Trick support setting up usually wasn't a problem. Once set up Gastly is the only thing that ALWAYS just poops on and shuts this down. SlowFoo and Tim ALWAYS die after a Spike, Koffing CAN lose after rocks, Pory and Spritz ALWAYS live after rocks and can't be setup on due to naturally being slower. Winsauce Jr. outspeeds ALL slow Ghosts and every Def 'Mon. Thief dispatches Ghost types, plays mind-games and picks up 2HKOs from damage swings via removing & equipping Eviolites. Seed Bomb is for Omas, Turts, Frillish and Lileep. Finally E-Speed is well, just win on everything else.

Next was fast Taunt Stunky WITHOUT defog. I wanted MY hazards up and actually didn't mind ALL opposing hazards if it came down to it. Stunk's purpose on this squad is to destroy Gastly and break Sashbra's sash, POINT BLANK PERIOD! This is the best thing smokin' when it came to that, could switch into both and ALWAYS got off a Pursuit. Aftermath was REALLY REALLY good after Stunk did it's job. Taunt actually shuts down ALOT of things; Archen, ALL Webz setters, Ferro and Volc to name a few. This thing also serves as a Pawn counter if played right and does at least 40% when played wrong, which isn't bad for misplaying if you ask me. Stunk ALWAYS does at least 25% to Dig and SuckerSuit is full of mind-games--a recurring theme with this team. Fire Blast deals with everything it hits Super Effectively for a clean 2HKO after Rocks. I needed the extra power so Flamethrower ended up being replaced.

I just LOVE this this 'Mon because it's mango and was ALWAYS the MVSP (most valuable support 'Mon) of every match for some reason, no seriously I can't even explain how or why but I will do my best. After a bunch of games I stayed with the Off. version, as it did EXACTLY what I needed it to for my team AND still fulfilled all of it's support duties. 2HKOing every Fighting type sans Croa and OHKOing Scraggy with D-Gleam; but I had to be VERY weary of switching into the Poison filler they ALL have been known to carry. Once again, 'twas all about mind-games before AND after switching in. I was pleased to find that the pressure was almost always on my opp. as I switched in, whilst almost always on me whether I protected my face with Encore or did damage to every switch besides Spritz and Pory with an Off. D-Gleam, usually doing damage as well as scouting the opposing Pawniard's item. +1 Encore was useful in EVERY situation I thought it would be BUT, use creates mind-games resulting in HUGE risk vs reward scenarios. +1 Memento eases setup for Winsauce Jr., most optimally checkmating the opp. if they do not crit through the drops on the following turn (a 6.5% chance). Defiant 'Mons get +2 Atk if I lose the mind-game with any still in play--Usually risking death by switching in, and THUS the mind-game I found myself most often in. HP Fighting is for Pawns end of story. This thing is my go-to KO fodder. The 17 speed tier is crowded and information is the most valuable resource in this game.

Hazards are an integral part of Winsauce Jr. actually wining. I finally settled on a fast dual hazard setter with two lives that wasn't passive >.> (Ferro), is a check to to a few things and could cripple everything bar Stunk that tries to stop it from setting up. Fun fact, I really like this 'Mon. Primarily used for scouting speeds, Knocking Off and any type of fodder after hazards went up. I ALMOST ALWAYS got SOMETHING up AND all-purpose fodder in the process. Rock Blast destroys Fletches, prevents Torchicks from setting up and usually breaks the Sub if they pass it. Knock Off (KO from now on) plays mind-games with Taunt and Sturdy users. Removing an Eviolite usually meant the difference of Winsauce Jr. sweeping or not. Dwebble CAN ko Vullaby from full and USUALLY beats Abra if they are both at full. Dwebble stops most Sub users and most importantly, opposing Zigs can NEVER set up in it's face.

And lastly, the queen of the ratchets (see what I did there?:P) EVERY LC team needs a fighting type with KO and a Pawn check, do I need to say more? I chose Tim over Pan, Foo, Croa and Scraggs for one reason MACH PUNCH. This move just simply gets ko's that DO NOT exist. With T-Wave, Will-O and Flame Body everywhere, Guts is a Godsend. Timmy sets up on what is left of the meta--mainly Chinchous, Fighting types not named Croagunk, Ferroseeds and Dwebbles. This thing CAN live Psychic from sashBra and ALWAYS survives Psychics from Pory after Download. Tim DESTROYED Rock types not named Archen and revenge kills anything weak to Fighting; at +1 priority I might add with Mach Punch. Drain Punch is pseudo recovery and our hardest hitting STAB. KO is for those meddling Ghosts that think they can switch in for free and Bulk Up can be used in a myriad of one v one situations--vs. Pony, Scraggs, Mienfoo, Turt, Onix, Lileep and Diggy. When my primary and secondary plans failed, Tim was plan C to pick up the broom and preform the janitorial duties.

So there we have it, my first RMT. I would like to thank ItsViper482 for all his help and 067Jox for suggesting I do this. After I made this team, it went through about ~4-7 iterations until everything clicked. This was right before the Floon suspect and after that the team only got better. I peaked #1 on the ladder ~150 games after the reset with this team. I know it's a little heavy on the mind-game aspect, but it is, IMHO that way with this tier as a whole. All I've wanted to do is know definitively what, if anything is just blatantly wrong with this team and how to patch up any holes therein. Now go topple the ladder like ya boi PK!
