Yea, LO Bisharp is the best. Iron Head has much more usability now that fairies exist, and the Dark-type & Knock Off buffs just made Bisharp the Defiant mon of choice (in the other hand, we have Tornadus, who got shafted from losing Flying Gem :(). With LO, Bisharp can essentially OHKO all Intimidate mons barring Scrafty and Mawile (after it mega evolves) with its STAB moves.

You can make a lot of good offensive cores with Bisharp, since Defiant and Dark-type (plus priority) offense is so good in XY Doubles. Bisharp + Kangaskhan is one of the more notable ones. Bisharp discourages Intimidate users from hindering Kangaskhan. Bisharp also eliminates pesky Ghost- and some Steel-types that gives La Madre some trouble (mons like Aegislash, Jirachi, Jellicent). Augment this core with a Pokemon that can handle Heatran and Fighting-types (Gyarados, Jellicent, Azumarill, Chandelure @ Air Balloon, HP Ground Latios, Dragonite / Salamence) and you're good to go ;d

Thank you based Trace.
This was actually a pretty fun game to play. My opponent had a pretty decent looking goodstuff team and I knew that I had to keep Bisharp alive if I wanted to win. My opponent used Skill Swap really well and made some strong plays in the mid game. Thankfully I got Thundurus out of the way early on so I was a lot more free to play without having to worry about Thunder Wave. I think the replay shows the importance of not keeping in Pokemon just because they have boosts as Bisharp was able to come in late game and clean up.

Also I just realised I was trying to EP a LeviTran lel, good job he didn't capitalise.

Editing in this so I don't make a million posts in this thread. It's actually a pretty decent game I just had. I was really playing catchup from the start but with the help of some strong switches, plays and a speed tie with skymin I managed to pull ahead and win the game.

Also I'm a (BAN ME PLEASE) who can't spell Hiroshima.

Probably my favorite doubles game I've played, I was pretty much against the wall the entire match. Managed to keep Heatran alive at 6% for 20 turns which ended up winning me the match. Had a crappy misclick/play on turn 16 or 17 where I should have KO'd his Egg with return. Also there was overall quite a bit of hax, but it nearly evened out, as I was getting destroyed by hax in the beginning and then got a lucky string of paralysis and a miss at the end.

Okay, first, Mega Abomasnow kicks butt! Now try taking on TWO at once! The other one even gets a hold item! Add Trick Room and you can devastate before your opponent even gets a hit in! Outspeed even Conkeldurr under TR because Mega Snow is even slower at first! This can even stop Mega Zard Y if you do it right! :3

This was the most beautiful battle I've ever had... Sure, things would've been different had he kept Mega Blastoise in, but Roar is a wonderful thing to have in Doubles. :3

Just a couple things here.

First off, this is VGC. The rules here are slightly different, like where we ban Evasion increasing moves, and Moody.

Secondly, while I love the Transform Smeargle shenanigans, it's really gimmicky overall.

Lastly, while the first replay wasn't awful, the second one was against an extremely low skill player, which doesn't make for very good replays.

here is a great game I had against Lolk. It showcases how you can play around sleep quite easiy, even if your opponent's sleep mon has every chance in the world to constantly spam it.

It also showcases that mega heracross is a bulky son of a bitch =]

Oh, and it is also super competitive despite being one of the most casual dubs game I have played in a few weeks.

good game, Laga, but Lolk misplayed when he tried to Giga Drain your Rotom-W and Conkeldurr instead of Rage Powdering. That cost him his Suicune and Latios n_n

I was more surprised by the lack of Spore on Cress on the 1st turn. With Latios' HP Ground posing a OHKO threat on Heatran, Amoonguss can easily shrug off Cress' Psychic and put Cress out of commission, which was Latios' biggest threat (every other Pokemon Latios could seriously damage with the right move). It would have also put him in a good position to get a second Spore off. It would have been a good early game start.
Whilst Heatran could have been carrying a Shuca Berry to stand up to HP Ground, Amoonguss could survive Heat Wave + Psychic with a Sitrus anyways and get some HP back with Regenerator. Plus from a team preview, you would expect that this is Laga's well known team that he's been using for a while (with SubTran).

On the plus side, Lolk successfully found the time to get up Tailwind multiple times; I was surprised by the number of times. And they worked, even against a semi-TR team.

Yea I assumed Psyshock + Heat Wave would KO (because HP Ground only does ~90%), but he had psychic.

and Pocket yea idk why i didnt rage powder lol i thought it was too obvious i guess but even then that excuse sounds dumb now lol

anyways yea that was the first time trying that team but i have tweaked around with it (like sash on bisharp which has saved my ass so many times now). Here are some cool matches against nollan

My mistake; I incorrectly assumed that HP Ground would OHKO. The lack of Spore is more understandable now.

You would have still gotten it off barring a crit: Psychic does more damage than Psyshock against the standard 252 HP / 184 Def Amoonguss, but even a 252 HP / 4 Def Amoonguss always survives Heat Wave plus Psychic baring a crit.

gg, TOTEM. Saw some nice Skill Swap Cress action in your game :d. The lack of Shadow Ball on Aegislash forced you to work harder to beat Cresselia. You used Landorus-T well to nerf Kyle's Heracross / Talonflame / Terrakion.

This was a great game I just had, showcasing the frightening power of Mega Gyarados when provided the right support. My opponent was using a fairly standard Rain team (though definitely not as solid as it could have been; he was using Leftovers Rain Dish Leech Seed Ludicolo and Gliscor) The most notable thing about this match was just the amount of time I could keep a Mega Gyarados alive at +3 Atk / Spe to let it destroy. Despite the fact that Gyara was locked into Dragon Dance from turn one, its sheer bulk and power helped it completely wreck after the encore wore off. This battle shows how Terrakion and Mega Gyarados had excellent synergy; Terrakion helped block the priority moves with Quick Guard (see: Turn 8, where Terrakion's Quick Guard blocks a Fake Out from stunning Gyarados and making it susceptible to being KOd) and finished off a priority-threatening Bisharp (turn 7). When Gyarados finally fell, things were already over for my opponent.

Also guys please don't use Gliscor and Toxicroak and LSeed RDish Ludicolo with Rain ;;;_;;;

Found a good battle against Psycho Vision. Sorry if this wasn't the best battle; at least it'll revive the thread.
Note: Sorry if my wording or explanation is poor, grammar was never my good area :(
Replay: http://pokemonshowdown.com/replay/smogondoubles-130434133

Team Preview:
U-Turn Out's team: Rotom-Wash / Heatran / Shaymin-Sky / Togekiss / Keldeo / Kangaskhan
Cyco Vision's team: Kangaskhan / Shaymin-Sky / Azumarill / Hitmontop / Excadrill / Togekiss
Looking at the Team Preview, I can see that I would be facing Bulky Offense again. Usually with Bulky Offense I lead with Shaymin-S and Kanga-Mega. However, I can see that after a Tailwind from Togekiss, Shaymin-S can easily outspeed and do heavy work to his team. Psycho Vision also only has an Excadrill to hit Togekiss and Shaymin-S super effectively, so I decided to lead with those 2.

Early Game:
Turn 1: I realized my mistake in bringing in Shaymin-S on a ScarfDrill, and decided that Keldeo would not really be threatened by a Rock Slide or a Fake Out. Therefore, I switch into that while Togekiss goes for Tailwind. However, instead of going for Fake Out, he decided to go for PuP on Togekiss, which makes things easier, as Keldeo now outspeed both of my opponent's mons and can OHKO both. Rock Slide with Excadrill wasn't too bad as it is not a 2HKO on Togekiss(or so I thought)
Turn 2: I decided that Kanga was the bigger threat and tried to Secret Sword it. Togekiss had nothing to do, as Excadrill hits both mons and Kanga would die, so I Air Slashed. Air Slashing was a little safer than switching directly into Rotom-W predicting Flying types to come on, as I didn't want to take too much damage on one of my win conditions. Plus I was a little tired lol. He ended up switching into his 2 Flyings, which resisted my Secret Sword. Overall, nothing major happened.
Turn 3: Trying to get rid of the opponent's Skymin, I go for Air Slash on Skymin, but Psycho Vision's Togekiss redirects it to itself. He predicted Rotom-W to come in replacing Togekiss, but I was thinking that Togekiss can do work against Skymin; therefore I brought Rotom-W in for Keldeo.
Turn 4: Psycho's Togekiss uses Follow Me again, while I try to take out the Skymin with Air Slash. I totally forgot about Follow Me, so I went for Electroweb just to lower my opponent's Pokemon's speed because I thought it was usefl in the long run in case I lose a Pokemon later, so Heatran can come in and destroy the Togekiss and Skymin with Heat Wave. Luckily, he predicted my Rotom-W Protect there and went for Air Slash on Togekiss.
Summary: Tailwind ends. Opponent's Skymin and Togekiss at low health. My Togekiss at low health and Keldeo has taken some damage.

Mid Game:
Turn 5: Here my opponent makes a very weird move by switching in Excadrill for Togekiss. He probably predicted Heatran, but I would have not done that due to a Belly Drum Azumarill awaiting for me. I did not want Rotom-W gone from the field, so I protected as he goes for Seed Flare on my Rotom-W. Togekiss does manage to take down Shaymin-S, and the score is finally 6-5. I thought Togekiss would have outsped Skymin, so that was my mistake, but it worked out for me. He then brings in Togekiss, a smart play as it can defeat all of Drill's counters and my Togekiss on field as well.
Turn 6: Here, I choke big time. I somehow overpredicted or something and thought that leaving in Rotom-W was a good idea. Of course, his Excadrill goes for EQ and 91% of my health goes down. Not only that, but instead of going for Hydro Pump, I went for Electroweb to get rid of Psycho's Togekiss. That wasn't even a threat, and now I decresed my chances of winning. Luckily, my Togekiss set up Tailwind, so now I can probably go and kill Excadrill with Hydro Pump. Psycho sees this and goes into Hitmontop to KO my Rotom-W while getting Excadrill into a safe place.
Turn 7: I make a obvious switch by switching in Skymin. He sees this coming and goes into his Kanga-Mega. Hitmontop goes for Rock Slide to nail both of my mons which I was unaware of. For some reason, I went for Protect; I still don't know why I did this. Now Psycho's Kanga-Mega is in and can Fake Out something while his Top goes for Rock Slide.
Turn 8: Kanga goes for Fake Out as expected. I thought he would target my Togekiss as I probably would have Protected with my Skymin but I guess it works out for him as my Skymin flinches. Togekiss gets a nice hit on Top, and flinches it, so my blunder before wasn't that significent.
Turn 9: I go into Keldeo, getting Skymin out of there while trying to dodge a Sucker Punch, as he brings in his Drill. Togekiss luckily finishes off his Hitmontop, and I take no damage that turn while he's in a tough situation.
Turn 10: I double Protect to see what move Drill locks itself into (Scarf) and to dodge a Fake Out. Psycho's Drill locks itself into Rock Slide making Keldeo very safe.
Turn 11: Knowing that no real harm can be done to Keldeo from Excadrill, I go for Secret Sword on the Kanga-Mega. I don't mind Togekiss dying, but Secret Sword fails to knock out Mega Kanga, and my Keldeo is knocked out. Now I'm getting worried, but knowing that Excadrill cannot go for Earthquake makes me relieved. I feel safe to go into Heatran, as well as Kanga-Mega as it can Fake Out Psycho's Mega Kanga for the almost guarenteed win. This is where the game unfolds.

End Game:
Turn 12: Psycho cannot lose Excadrill or else I win 100%, so he switches out into his Azumarill. I do go for Fake Out with Mega Kanga to knock out his Mega Kanga, and Heatran's Heat Wave does some damage to Azumarill.
Turn 13-14: I get flinched on turn 13, but Heatran and Kanga-Mega tanks some hits and eventually cleans up his team.

Sorry if this was hard to follow, but I hope this was good enough to help the thread come back and be revived :)
You can point out anything I did wrong or what I need to explain better and I'll try to improve. Overall this was a good battle that was very fun to play.

srk1214: That battle vs pinoy displayed great execution of Jellicent; cool beans.

Second replay was also interesting, displaying the goodness of Scrafty and Gyarados's double-intimidate core, complemented with Wisp Chandelure. Sky Drop Aerodactyl is also an underrated offensive support option.

Kyurem-B were lackluster in both games :(

GlassGlaceon: Probably my first time seeing Blaziken in action! qsns had that won, though :[

Cool games, cool teams :d
