In Fight is a nice addition to his move-pool, beats Brick Break.

In Fight is awesome. After a Swords Dance, Zangoose 2hkos pretty much anything I can think of, except Skarmory. Unfortunately, it'll probably get barred from UU, and Garchomp is just better ;( There's always Quick Attack, I guess.

Doubt it, D/P UU Metagame will get nastyer too. main example is Hypno, who now has Scheme, and some1 needs to stop him.

Btw, I noticed the OP missed that Zangoose gets Pursuit and Blade Test (essentially Shadow Claw but with a different type).

Edit: It's been added now, cool.

Pursuit is the biggy here since that would do sweetly on a Choice Band/AScarf Zangoose.

Zangoose isn't a reliable Hypno counter, Hypno often had Reflect and/or Thunder Wave in Advance and I cannot see that changing quickly.

Similiary to how Misty cannot think of what Zangoose cannot 2HKO, I cannot think of anything that doesn't beat up Zangoose in less than 2 hits except really defensive Pokemon, which Zangoose usually struggles against too!

Zangoose strugle vs defensive PKMN? you do know he has Crush Claw [why does nobody use this?]

I loved using Zangoose by Crushclawing on the swich [scarmory] and then Focus Punching on the Whirlwind.

Crush Claw's average damage per turn is a lot lower than Return. To do more damage with Crush Claw + Focus Punch on the Whirlwind than with Return + Focus Punch, you need to hit AND get the defense drop, which basically won't happen. There's a 5% chance you miss and a 90% chance you simply won't drop Skarmory's defense.

Umm fyi Mekkah, Crush Claw has a 50 % Def drop rate. That, in combination with SR could rack up dmg pretty quickly. I believe Zangoose will be UU, as it simply does not have the defences to survive in OU and the BL tier will be getting many new pokes this gen.
