Judge-A-Pokémon
Judge-A-Pokémon (JAP)Judge-A-Pokémon (JAP) first appeared in The Smog's 13th issue, where Chou Toshio, Alchemator, and Fatecrashers were the first panelists to disect the chosen designs. While JAP is primarily an article series that aims to look closer at Pokémon designs and deduce why some were successfuly while others weren't, it's also very light-hearted, since everyone knows that the panelists can only offer their own subjective views on the matter, which affects the tone of the writing. Nevertheless, JAP has remained as a reoccuring article series even after The Smog webzine was discontinued and has allowed artists and non-artists to air their concerns and praise of any Pokémon design put to the slate.
