Rogue is a common role in terms of “a lot of players will have seen it like, once” but especially in town vs mafia it’s very rarely seen with the individual targeting elsewhere on the internet.

The multifac variant is the common one. Flandrs’ variant is not common, though it is specifically kind of common on MU because MU setups trend weaker

I meant it’s common on smogon, (and eimm) but that’s not how the standard role works to be clear

I get that but I don’t think it was nerfed to be weaker than a standard rogue. The interpretation that it nullifies any abilities by the targeted user that target the rogue seems valid, and you wouldn’t expect a fairy to visit on a tracker or something (obviously targets and visits are slightly different occasionally but here I feel like they behave the same).

to be clear this is a silly premise anyway. i am not targeting flanders i am targeting neon. i bet if i targeted flanders it would've failed and i'd have been targeted correctly by anyone targeting me last night.

it’s just how rogues work specifically, it’s not about if flanders role works specifically “only people who target you and visit” or w/e

My skepticism is not how such a role would interact, but rather its existence, since it’s a modified version of how rogue would normally work

But it seems like both yours and flanders role are accounting for this specific interaction, so it’s just off normal how a rogue usually works I guess

There’s still mafia in the protective regardless I feel, M2h has just flipped as completely better version of flanders claim, as town, do we really think that flanders is just a worse version of m2h?

There’s mafia in the celever/genisu/laurel situation surely
 
I will say mafia flipped bus driver and also obviously they had the strongman, that does leave more space for protectives since mafia had a lot of play around the protectives
 
So so far the neighborhoods have been

Alice + Shane
Clouds + JALMONT (Clouds died before neighborhood could start)
me + Flandrs

Knowing that Alice flipped mafia and being currently sus of Flandrs this makes me a little bit sus on bluedoom to be honest, feels like he might be putting s/t together in neighborhoods (esp the first one) to try and weaponize it to pocket a townie
 
I don't think the fake investigative results message is referring to JALMONT - Clouds specified that he knew it wasn't an alignment cop so it wouldn't have been actual false information
 
That being said the only investigative result we have is Tommy and I don't think that one is fake so I don't think there's anything useful from that message

I think I have to lean scum because I lean Celever town but I have to read back exactly why people say it's 50/50: Shane
